Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council concludes My Language, My Identity
The event saw remarkable student interaction and active parent participation, embodying the effective educational partnership between home and school. Honouring 47 students The council hosted on Wednesday the festival's closing ceremony, which included honouring the participating students from Al-Aqd Al-Fareed Primary School and Al-Husn Secondary School. A total of 47 students were honoured in a festive atmosphere graced by the presence of parents who expressed their appreciation for the efforts made. The festival lasted for ten days, filled with interactive activities and creative workshops specifically designed to develop Arabic language skills among students in early grades and kindergarten. National identity Activities varied, covering key topics in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, using modern methods that combined fun and education. They were supervised by co-teacher Anwar Ahmed Al Salami, who excelled in presenting distinctive educational narrative content, blending the aesthetics of the Arabic language with the spirit of national identity, within an artistic educational vision that strengthens young people's sense of belonging to their language and heritage. The final day featured a post-test to measure the educational and pedagogical impact of the festival. The results were compared to the pre-test conducted on the first day, allowing for an accurate reading of the level of improvement and development in the language skills of the participating students. Supporting the educational process The festival was organised as part of the operational plan of the Parents Councils at SDAD. This initiative reflects the councils' commitment to enhancing their role in supporting the educational process and providing enriching learning environments that enhance the status of the Arabic language among the new generation, instilling in them a love of expression and a sense of belonging to their identity and language. The festival resonated widely with parents, who expressed their appreciation for the high level of organisation and the quality of the educational activities. They praised their positive impact on their children and their motivation to use the Arabic language with confidence and creativity. In a celebratory closing ceremony, writer Anwar Al Salami was honoured, along with the participating students, and awards and certificates of appreciation were distributed. This reflects the council's commitment to enhancing learning motivation, fostering a culture of excellence, and sustaining purposeful educational programs that celebrate the language and bring it to life in the hearts of generations.

Al Suyoh Council discusses community initiatives
The meeting was held to review the latest developments in community plans for the coming period. It was chaired by His Excellency Yousef Obaid Harmoul Al Shamsi, Council and attended by Council members. "Eid Fawala": authentic Emirati custom During the meeting held on Wednesday, the Council reviewed the most prominent topics and initiatives on its agenda. Members also discussed details of the implementation of the "Eid Fawala" initiative (Eid food supplies), which was organised on the second day of Eid Al Fitr. The initiative aims to promote community cohesion and embody authentic Emirati customs and traditions, which are keen to strengthen social ties during special occasions and holidays. Honouring supportive residents The Council also proposed an initiative to honour collaborators from the suburb's residents who have contributed to supporting the Council's activities and programmes over the past period. This gesture of appreciation aims to stimulate greater community interaction and recognise the efforts of community members. This reflects the Council's commitment to building effective and sustainable partnerships with the suburb's residents. Honouring top students The meeting also addressed the Council's agenda for upcoming initiatives, whereas it proposed the launch of an initiative to honour top students from Al Suyoh suburb. This initiative expresses the Council's pride in its distinguished members and encourages them to continue their journey of success and excellence. Raising awareness activities In the context of collaborative work with government agencies, Council members discussed holding several exhibitions that would allow the suburb's residents to interact with service institutions and learn about their services. During the meeting, the Council was keen to place special emphasis on awareness-raising activities. It was decided to coordinate the organisation of an awareness lecture for school students on combating drugs, in cooperation with the relevant authorities. This is part of the Council's efforts to raise awareness among young people and promote a culture of risk prevention, contributing to strengthening society and achieving intellectual and behavioral security for its citizens. Meeting residents' needs During the meeting, His Excellency Yousef Obaid Harmoul Al Shamsi emphasised the importance of continuing to implement quality initiatives that meet the aspirations of residents and enhance the Council's role as an effective community umbrella. Al Shamsi noted that the Council is committed to supporting everything that contributes to building a cohesive, aware, and integrated society. He also noted that Al Suyoh Suburb Council continues its efforts to meet the needs of residents through various activities that combine social, awareness-raising, and honorary activities, in line with the directives of SDAD, which seek to enhance community communication and achieve the Emirate of Sharjah's vision of building a cohesive society based on cooperation and initiative.

'Yalsatna' promotes community communication in Al Khalidiya
'Yalsatna' provides residents with the opportunity to meet, communicate and exchange congratulations on the holy month, reflecting the spirit of the cohesive Emirati society. Strengthening community ties The initiative comes as an extension of the Council's approach to strengthening community ties and enhancing its social role in bringing together the suburb's members on various occasions. The initiative confirms the Council role as a host for events that enhance the values of solidarity and social cohesion, in line with SDAD message in supporting the social fabric and spreading a spirit of familiarity among the suburb's residents. The Council welcomed a meeting that brought together His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of Al Khalidiya Suburb Council, and members of the Council and employees, citizens and visitors, where everyone exchanged congratulations and greetings, stressing the importance of these meetings that consolidate the values of communication and compassion that characterise the holy month, and enhance the spirit of brotherhood among the people of the suburb. Imams' role in promoting tolerant Islamic values As part of the Council's interest in communicating with various segments of society, the Chairman of the Council extended his congratulations to the mosques' imams during their reception at the Council's headquarters on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, welcoming their presence at the Council, and praising their efforts in raising awareness and promoting tolerant Islamic values. Al Marri stressed their pivotal role in establishing the spirit of tolerance and brotherhood, and reviving the atmosphere of the holy month with its lofty meanings in strengthening community cohesion, and supporting the values on which the Emirati societal identity is based.
