Later, the man in the car was identified as Army personnel Sandeep Daka, who was reportedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. The incident triggered panic among passengers and raised questions over the security of the railway station. As per the officials, the accused Sandeep Daka is a resident of Baghpat and is currently posted in Delhi, reports HT. The vehicle, a private car, breached security barriers and sped onto the station premises, eventually making its way onto the platform itself. The man, identified as Army personnel Sandeep Daka, was later arrested by the Government Railway Police (GRP) and his car has been seized. The footage shows the car bearing a Jharkhand registration plate navigating through the platform area just inches away from a moving train. Soon after the video gained traction online, users flooded social media with reactions. One user joked, 'He really tried Uber direct to train seat,' while another commented, 'Uttar Pradesh amazes every day.' The Moradabad Division of the GRP issued a statement on the case via X. According to the statement, Daka endangered the lives of passengers and has been booked under Sections 145(B)/147/154/159 of the Railway Act and Section 34 of the Police Act. The accused was confirmed to be intoxicated after a medical examination. In addition to arresting him, officials have also seized his driving license and submitted a report for its cancellation.
