Her uncle, Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, serves as the governor of Muscat. The marriage follows a public announcement of the Crown Prince's engagement earlier this year, made by his aunt, Ma'ani Al Busaidiyah, via a brief social media post in January 2025. At the time, no further details about the bride were disclosed. Crown Prince Theyazin was previously married to his cousin, Mayan bint Shihab Al Said, though that marriage ended in early 2022 without an official statement regarding the separation.
