Mumbai: Former Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik discharged from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital
Mumbai (Maharshtra) [India], July 7 (ANI): Former Odisha Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition in Odisha Assembly, Naveen Patnaik, was discharged from Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Monday, following a successful surgery. Expressing gratitude following his discharge, Patnaik took to the social media platform X and wrote, 'I would like to thank the entire medical team of @KDAHMumbai and GangaWebteam for providing excellent medical service and taking great care of me pre-surgery and post-surgery. Heartfelt thanks to everyone from #Odisha and outside for their wishes and prayers for my health. Jai Jagannatha.' Speaking in Bhubaneswar, BJD Vice-President Debi Prasad Mishra told ANI that Patnaik had travelled to Mumbai on June 20 for the medical procedure. 'People of Odisha are very glad to know that their beloved leader, Naveen ji has come out of Ambani hospital (Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital) in Mumbai. He had been to Mumbai on 20th June for the he has come out of the hospital,' he said. BJD's Mishra further added,' People are very eager to see him in Odisha at Naveen is a very successful operation. He has been discharged from the hospital and will remain in Mumbai for a few days for physiotherapy and other necessary treatments, as advised by the doctors. He will come back soon, hopefully...' Odisha falls in the 581–640 point range, defined as score in the access domain, which measures issues like enrolment, retention, and transition to the next grade, rose from 59.2 in 202223 to 65.6 in 202324. This positive trend places Odisha amongst the top three states nationally in advancing access to education, alongside Bihar and the rise, the state faces hurdles in digital education. Only a few districts -- Jharsuguda, Khurda, Sambalpur and Sonepur -- scored above 20 out of 50 in the digital learning digital literacy remains crucial, particularly as most districts lag the districtwise PGID rankings, Jharsuguda topped the state with an Uttam3 grade, excelling in classroom quality, learning outcomes, and digital adoption. In contrast, Rayagada was the lowestperforming district, highlighting pockets requiring focused support .JOINING ELITE STATES AT PRACHESTA3 LEVELApart from Odisha, nine other states and Union Territories -- including Punjab, Delhi, Gujarat, Kerala, Haryana, Goa, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu -- also earned Prachesta3 grades by scoring between 581-640. Chandigarh alone claimed the top Prachesta1 impressive ascent showcases the success of systemic reforms like the 5T initiative and renewed emphasis on access and learning quality.
