BCY chief alleges Rs 350 crore kickback in TDP's support to Shirdi Sai Electricals' Nellore solar project
TIRUPATI: Bharatha Chaitanya Yuvajana (BCY) Founder President Bode Ramachandra Yadav accused the TDP govt of pledging support to the Kadapa-based Shirdi Sai Electricals-backed Indo Solar project for kickbacks involving hundreds of crores of rupees. Ramachandra Yadav levelled serious allegations against the ruling disposition during his visit to Karivedu village in Nellore district. The BCY chief recalled that when the TDP was in the opposition, TDP National President Nara Chandrababu Naidu and several other prominent leaders, including Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, labelled Shirdi Sai Electricals as a benami company of the then chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. They alleged that the erstwhile YSRCP govt resorted to widespread corruption by pledging support to the Shirdi Sai Electricals group. 'The TDP leaders also vowed to expose this unholy nexus coupled with corruption and initiate legal proceedings against Shirdi Sai Electricals once the TDP comes to power in the state. However, the TDP received Rs 40 crore in the form of electoral bonds in January last year. After they came to power in the state in June 2024, instead of initiating legal proceedings, the TDP govt also pledged support to the Shirdi Sai Electrical group and allegedly earned Rs.350 cr in the form of kickbacks to alienate approximately 8,300 acres of land in Nellore district,' Bode Ramachandra Yadav alleged. The BCY chief slammed the govt for pushing the farmers into dire straits by handing over lush green farmlands to companies in the name of projects. He alleged that in Karivedu village, Ulavapadu mandal, Kandukur constituency, Nellore district, the Indo Solar project is forcibly and tyrannically taking 8,300 acres of land from farmers with the support of the TDP govt. He assured the farmers and villagers that the BCY party would fight for them and demanded the TDP govt initiate measures for returning all the forcibly acquired lands from the farmers within 10 days. Failing this, the BCY plans to take up massive protests in support of the farmers.

Andhra Deputy CM Pawan orders probe into land allotment to Shirdi Sai Electricals
VIJAYAWADA: Deputy Chief Minister (Forest and Environment) Pawan Kalyan has ordered a thorough investigation into the alleged irregularities in land allotment to Shirdi Sai Electricals and environmental violations in Seshachalam forest. Reacting strongly to reports of tree cutting in the Divyanamam area during jungle clearance, he ordered an inquiry into the actions of PCCF P Chalapathi Rao and sought a detailed report. Dy CM orders probe into environment violations in Seshachalam region
Tirupati: Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Forest and Environment Pawan Kalyan has called for a detailed probe into multiple environmental violations in Seshachalam forest region, following media reports and public concerns. The Deputy CM has asked forest officials to investigate the land allocation granted to Shirdi Sai Electricals amid serious allegations that the allotted land lies within protected forest limits. Reports indicate that the allotment may be in violation of the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980, raising concerns about encroachment into the Seshachalam Wildlife Sanctuary. Responding swiftly, Pawan Kalyan directed Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) P Chalapathi Rao to submit a detailed report along with all documentation related to the land allocation process. In another development, the Deputy CM responded to complaints circulating on social media about the destruction of forest fencing near Grand Vault Road in Upadhyayanagar, bordering the Seshachalam forest. The breach has reportedly allowed wild animals to stray into nearby residential areas in search of food and water, increasing the risk of human-wildlife conflict. Pawan Kalyan instructed local forest officials and the Biotechnology Research Centre to carry out immediate repair work on the fencing and to enhance conservation efforts in buffer zones, including cleanliness drives and provision of water troughs for animals. Addressing another environmental concern, the Deputy CM expressed dissatisfaction over reports of tree cutting in Divyaramam spiritual zone in Tirupati, an eco-spiritual site developed by the Forest Department. Alleging unauthorised felling during forest clearance work, Pawan Kalyan ordered a full-fledged inquiry into the incident and directed PCCF Chalapathi Rao to identify any breaches of forest regulations. Reaffirming his commitment to wildlife and forest conservation, the Deputy Chief Minister emphasised strict adherence to environmental laws and accountability for any violations.
