Directed by the talented Venky Atluri, Produced by Naga Vamsi will feature music by acclaimed composer GV Prakash Kumar. The film is edited by National Award winning film editor Navin Nooli. Director Trivikram gave the ceremonial first clap to launch the film's shooting. Director Trivikram attended the muhurat puja of Suriya 46 as the chief guest and gave the ceremonial first clap to officially launch the film's shooting. The film is directed by Venky Atluri, known for his stylish storytelling, and will feature music by acclaimed composer G.V. Prakash Kumar. Suriya 46 has an ensemble cast featuring Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, bringing a lease of fresh air. The film didn't turn out to be a massive blockbuster but it managed to impress fans. During the promotions of Dabba Cartel, Suriya's wife Jyotika revealed how it feels like sharing a roof with another superstar in an interview with Screen. Taking a cue from the title of her Netflix venture, Jyotika was asked if she and her husband leave together for shooting with their dabbas. Jyotika, with a tinge of humour, said, "I guess we leave the superstardom outside the door when we enter home. There, we are just parents of our kids. And yeah, the dabbas... definitely the prominence is given to our children. It's more about what's going in their school dabbas in the morning." Coming back to Suriya 46, the film's shooting is scheduled to begin on May 30.

‘Suriya 46': Venky Atluri's film with Suriya launched, Mamitha Baiju joins cast

Suriya's upcoming movie with director Venky Atluri has been launched. The makers got together for a pooja ceremony on May 19, 2025 (Monday). Venky Atluri, the Telugu filmmaker, is back to directorial duties with Suriya 46 after the success of Lucky Bhaskar (2024), starring Dulquer Salman. Premalu fame Mamitha Baiju has been cast in a prominent role. Popular filmmaker Trivikram of Guntur Kaaram (2024) and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020) fame launched the movie with the first clap. The film is produced by Sithara Entertainments helmed by Naga Vamsi in association with Fortune Four Cinemas. Navin Nooli is the editor while Nimish Ravi has been roped in as the cinematographer. Suriya was recently seen in Karthik Subbaraj's Retro, also starring Pooja Hegde, Joju George, Nasser, Prakash Raj and . The action drama, which released on May 01, 2025, opened to largely positive reviews, with Karthik's filmmaking, and Suriya's performance gaining praise from critics and fans alike. The film's writing, especially in the second half, was criticised for being generic. Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, who created waves with their previous blockbuster 'Baby', are reuniting for a new love story. The film, tentatively titled Production No 32, was officially launched on May 15 with a ceremonial clap by actor Rashmika makers shared photos from the puja ceremony on X with the caption: 'And it begins for the MOST RELATABLE LOVE STORY. @SitharaEnts Production No. 32 takes off with a puja ceremony full of love & regular shoot commences this June.
