"Op Sindoor very successful operation": TDP MP Sivanath backs armed forces, PM Modi's firm stance on terror

Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) [India], May 13 (ANI): Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP Kesineni Sivanath on Tuesday hailed Operation Sindoor as a resounding success, lauding the Indian Armed Forces and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for dismantling the terror camps and the subsequent attacks in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Sivanath also expressed his unwavering support for the central government's firm stance on terrorism. 'Operation Sindoor is a very successful operation. We are with the armed forces and the central government. We thank our Prime Minister for destroying the terrorist hideouts and making the huge success of these operations,' Sivanath said. Echoing Prime Minister Modi's address to the nation, Sivanath emphasised that India's dialogue with Pakistan would be strictly limited to addressing terrorism and the issue of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). 'He also said that the talks will be only on ending terrorism and PoK. There will be no talks about commerce and other things. We are with you, and we thank all the defence personnel behind this operation,' he stated, reaffirming the TDP's alignment with the central government's position. Earlier on Sunday, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the Prime Minister's speech marked a significant shift in India's security doctrine. 'Today, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji didn't just speak; he shaped India's new doctrine,' Naidu wrote in a post on X. He described the address as a 'stern warning to Pakistan-sponsored terrorists and a clear message of strength to the world'. Noting that the speech coincided with Buddha Purnima, he said, 'We walk the path to peace, but we also practice Zero Tolerance towards terrorism.' Naidu added that India's use of indigenous drones and defence systems during Operation Sindoor had demonstrated its readiness for modern warfare. 'Our Made-in-India defence technology has shown our readiness for modern warfare to protect our nation, making every Indian proud,' he said. Earlier, Prime Minister Modi, during his address to the nation on Operation Sindoor, outlined three key pillars of India's security doctrine. Firstly, he mentioned 'Decisive Retaliation'. It is when any terrorist attack on India occurs; it will be met with a strong and resolute response and it will retaliate on its own terms, targeting terror hubs at their roots. The second is 'No Tolerance for Nuclear Blackmail'. He noted that India will not be intimidated by any nuclear threats, and any terrorist safe haven operating under this pretext will face precise and decisive strikes. The third one being 'No Distinction Between Terror Sponsors and Terrorists', in which the PM stated that India will no longer see terrorist leaders and the governments sheltering them as separate entities. Need collective efforts to develop Tiruvuru Assembly constituency: Vijayawada MP

Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath stressed the need for collective efforts to develop Tiruvuru Assembly constituency, and pledged his support to achieve the developmental goals. Participating in the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) programme at Tiruvuru on Monday, Mr. Sivanath said that people need not travel to the NTR district headquarters to have their issues resolved as they could approach the officials locally under the PGRS. Mr. Sivanath added that a total of 278 petitions were received during the PGRS programme, including 104 related to the Revenue Department. He requested Collector G. Lakshmisha to solve certain problems to be dealt with by MROs with due priority, and noted that the constituency has a large population of SCs and STs who require all the possible support. Nearly 2,000 acres have been identified for industrial development in Nandigama and Jaggaiahpet constituencies, Mr. Sivanath said, adding that all efforts should be made to realise their potential. MLA K. Srinivasa Rao, Andhra Pradesh State Organic Product Certification Authority Chairman S. Devadatta, and RDO K. Madhuri also took part.

Former Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas seeks ED probe into MP Sivanath's alleged money laundering in Andhra Pradesh liquor scam

Former MP Kesineni Srinivas (Nani) wrote a letter to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) requesting a probe into the alleged role of his younger brother and Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath(Chinni) and his associates in money laundering linked to the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam. He stated that it was alarming on Mr. Sivanath's part to seek a CBI probe into the liquor scam as it reflected his lack of confidence in the Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted by the State government. The position taken by Mr. Sivanath raises serious questions and warrants a deeper scrutiny as he was himself facing the allegation of having a role in financial transactions connected to the liquor scam through his business partner Kasireddy Rajasekhar, the former MP observed. Mr. Srinivas said according to official records and data available in the public domain, Mr. Sivanath and his wife Janaki Lakshmi and Mr. Rajasekhar were partners in Pryde Infracon LLP among other ventures. These entities might have been used to channel the proceeds of the crime, in violation of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002. Further, there was a strong reason to believe that the money trail extended across multiple companies and Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs) both within India and abroad, involving family members, close friends, and some long-time business partners. In view of this, the ED should initiate an exhaustive investigation into the business dealings of the MP's wife Janaki Lakshmi, son Venkat Chowdary Kesineni, Srinivas Satya Prasad Vellanki (Pandu), Madhu Babu Kandimalla, P.T. Suresh, Venigalla Ram, Chakravarthy Kadiyala, Vamsi Kadiyala, Kumar Adusumalli, Rajesh Ponnam, Mohan Rao Bollineni, Venkatakrishna Kishore Talluri and Nageswara Rao Gali. The probe should include all Indian and overseas companies, LLPs, and trusts associated with them, real estate, infrastructure and technology companies with possible links to them, all shell entities, benami holdings or circular transaction patterns related to them, and cross - border fund transfers, foreign assets and undisclosed overseas investments. Some of them are also allegedly linked to the ₹2,000 crore chain-link scam of Hyderabad which is under investigation, Mr. Srinivas added.
