Ginger Minj is 'letting the monsters eat themselves' as reigning 'All Stars' winner
Ginger Minj isn't looking for your opinions about her Drag Race: All Stars victory — the crown and scepter are living on her bedroom shelf regardless. After 10 years, four seasons, and a record-breaking three Snatch Game wins, the iconic drag queen has finally claimed victory. Minj was crowned winner of All Stars Season 10 on Friday night, something that still feels "surreal" a few days later. Now that she's won, she says "I don't know what to do with myself" — but you can expect whatever comes next to be impactful. "Even before winning, I have always tried to be a queen for the people. And by the people, I mean all people," Minj tells Out. "So, whether you love me or you loathe me, I will always use whatever platform I have to make the world a happier, safer, better place for all of us. I got into drag because there's nothing more punk rock or political than bucking the system in a big way, and I think that if you can approach things through love and humor, you can open a lot of doors and change a lot of minds." Season 10 of All Stars introduced a new format that gave the returning queens more time to shine as they competed in three groups of six known as "brackets," before the top three from each group merged to compete against each other. The finale featured the most queens in Drag Race herstory, with eight facing off in a lip sync battle royal for the crown. Minj, the first to win under the format, loves the changes as "an old pageant girl at heart." "Before you compete at a national pageant, you have to qualify at a preliminary," she explains. "So, it really felt like brackets for these little prelim pageants that led us up to the big final national. And I love that. I thought it was so exciting, especially as a viewer, because for the six weeks before I even stepped foot on screen, I got to just be a fan and watch these two mini seasons play out." Originally in bracket three, Minj swept her competitors by landing in the top two for each of her group's three episodes, then once again after the groups merged. She also set a Drag Race record by becoming the first queen to win Snatch Game three times. However, the performance she was proudest of wasn't any of her victories, but rather her talent show number, in which she did an original musical theatre number that showcased just how far she's come. "I am most proud of, honestly, the one thing I didn't win, which was the talent show," Minj says. "I absolutely loved that, because it felt like it was finally an opportunity to show the entire world exactly who I am as a performer that I hadn't been able to do in 10 years on Drag Race up to that point." Minj was so focused on devoting her energy to the challenges that antagonism from her fellow competitors washed right over her. Despite some prodding in the werkroom and during Untucked from Season 15 alum Mistress Isabelle Brooks, Minj kept her cool and refused to engage. She maintains now that "there was no tension between us." "It was all very one-sided. And when I saw it play out on television, I knew that that she was poking the bear," Minj says. "But honestly, I was so hyper-focused on what I had to do that I wasn't paying attention. So, I didn't even know it was as big of a deal as it actually was in-person." Minj is taking a similar approach to the online backlash over her victory. While disagreements are always expected among fans, the queen has been the target of an especially intense brigade of viewers upset by her win, with some claiming she was favored by producers or that she shouldn't have been allowed to compete on four seasons in the first place. Minj says she's handling negative comments "exactly the same way as I handled Mistress" — by simply not engaging with them. "I just don't pay attention to the negativity," she says. "Why would I? If I had been crowned 10 years ago, that version of myself probably would have been completely embroiled in the entire mix of it, but at the place that I am in my life now — and I fought so hard to get here — I'm not going to sacrifice any of my peace or my happiness for people who are just looking for an excuse to be miserable." "As long as I just keep kind of focusing on all of the love that is there surrounding me — and there's so much love and positivity swirling around me at all times — I'm just feeding off of that and then letting the monsters eat themselves," Minj adds. Now that she's finally won Drag Race, Minj isn't interested in following the paths of other former contestants by going on reality shows like The Traitors, mainly because "I'm not a good liar." Instead, she says she would love to participate in vocal competitions like The Masked Singer or Show Me Your Voice. Her dream role is to star in Harvey Fierstein's breakthrough 1983 musical, La Cage aux Folles, which was the first hit Broadway musical about a gay relationship. "Especially now with today's political climate, I really want to star in a Broadway revival of La Cage aux Folles," Minj says. "I've done the show a couple times before. ... It's sad, but it's also really interesting that over four decades after that show was written and produced, it's even more timely and relevant right now." Even in the face of anti-LGBTQ+ or anti-drag laws, the queen isn't slowing down. Minj will be hitting the road this fall alongside former Drag Race contestants Jujubee and Sapphira Cristál for their Hokus Pokus Live tour, and expects more opportunities to come as her success grows. "I was born and raised in Leesburg, Florida, which is an hour north of Orlando and 45 years behind it culturally," Minj says. "Even though it was really rough growing up, it gave me a lot of coping skills as I got older to look three steps ahead and see where things are going. That's just how I'm taking it day by day, trying to look ahead, see what's down the pike, and if there's anything I can do to change it." RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 10 Finale: Which Wild Card Pick Will Return? And Which Queen Was Snubbed?
Gooped. Gagged. Gobsmacked. If any of the above describe your current emotional state, there's a good chance you just finished watching the penultimate episode of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 10. I'll start with the question on every viewer's mind: What the heck happened to Mistress Isabelle Brooks? Initially considered a frontrunner in the competition, both as a fierce competitor and a shady schemer, the Texas titan returned for the semifinals last week as a shell of her former self, bombing Snatch Game and having to lip sync for her life. But instead of letting this light a fire under her, Mistress continued to spiral this week, landing back in the bottom two after a subpar talent show performance and so-so runway look. I'm proud of Aja for maintaining her composure in the Werk Room; lesser queens would have lost their cool over Mistress' senseless taunting. The more she talked, the more I felt like I was watching someone unravel — someone I once genuinely rooted for. But after suffering through more of Mistress' shenanigans this week, I wasn't the least bit disappointed to see Lydia B(utthole) Kollins send her home at the end of the hour. That's right, Mistress was the last contestant eliminated ahead of next week's grand finale. That means the following queens are confirmed to be competing in the Lip Sync LaLaPaRuza: Aja, Bosco, Daya Betty, Ginger Minj, Irene the Alien, Jorgeous and Lydia. But wait, the gooping, gagging and gobsmacking continues! Following Mistress' elimination, RuPaul (with an assist from the always-delightful Angeria Paris VanMicheals) revealed the judges' Wild Card picks: Ross Mathews chose Mistress, while Michelle Visage and Ts Madison both chose Kerri Colby. Did anyone else assume that three judges would mean three queens? Because I sure did! And are you also surprised that none of the judges voted to bring back Denali? Don't get me wrong, Kerri definitely deserved a vote, and I'm not totally shocked that Mistress got one, but Denali felt like she earned a shot at Ru-demption. The online backlash after she 'lost' that lip sync to Ginger was real. Regardless, two Kerri balls and one Mistress ball were placed in the sacred Drag Race Bingo cage, but whose name did Bruno pull out? Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until next week for that answer. (Believe me, I watched that preview from the finale in super slow motion. No dice.) On a more positive note, I'd also like to congratulate Bosco on her well-deserved win this week. Watching her thrive on this show all season long has been a delight, and I'd be pleased as punch to see her crowned the winner of All Stars 10 next week. #TeamBosco Who are you hoping to see back on the main stage in next week's finale? 'Drag Race All Stars 10' Snatch Game: Questions, reactions, & results

Nine queens from three brackets compete in one Snatch Game, and the result is a whirlwind episode of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 10 where strategies, fandoms, and storylines collide. Inspired by Survivor, fans have been referring to episode 10, titled "Tournament of All Stars Snatch Game," as a "merge" for All Stars 10: The coming together of queens who initially competed within separate groups. That element is alive, indeed, as we watch dizzying day-one dynamics playing out in week 10. Except that this is an All Stars season, so an otherwise pleasant meet-cute is also packed with callbacks and biases. There is also a sobering reminder from the queens' heightened emotions around the Snatch Game that, unlike a Survivor merge, this is not the halfway point of the season. This is not an opportunity to reset, make new alliances, and re-calculate one's position on the chess board. This merge is on the verge of the grand finale, which makes it a disruptive and nerve-racking new format to the overall RuPaul's Drag Race franchise. Paramount+ Tournament of All Stars sign on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 10 episode 10. The nine semi-finalists literally walk back into this Tournament of All Stars. It's a cute choice to have them re-enter the main stage, like the nations that introduce themselves during an Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games, or teams that walk through the field to warm up before an actual game. Aja, Bosco, Cynthia Lee Fontaine, Daya Betty, Ginger Minj, Irene The Alien, Jorgeous, Lydia B Kollins, and Mistress Isabelle Brooks enter this drag-o-dome with the points system that qualified them to the semi-finals. However, in typical Drag Race twist fashion, the rug is immediately pulled right under them. "Starting today, and for the next two weeks, semi-final rules are in full effect," a mustachioed RuPaul announces. "To start, we are wiping the points you've earned in the preliminary round, so everyone starts the semi-finals on a level playing field." RuPaul explains, "Moving forward, I will name one top All Star of the week who will receive a cash tip of $10,000. And the two bottom queens will lip sync for their lives." The All Stars 10 semi-finals have queens shaking in their boots when Ru announces that the bottom 2 queens of each week will be lip syncing for their lives, just like they would in a regular flagship season of Drag Race. In other words, these semi-finalists in the Tournament of All Stars will not lip sync for their lives (as paired-up competitors on All Stars 1), or for your legacy (as introduced on All Stars 2), or for a Ru-demption (as utilized over the years). Their fates will not be decided by a teammate, by other queens voting in a Ru-mocracy system, nor by the top 2 queens of the week. For context, the official "lip sync for your life" term was only used once on All Stars 2 for the "Shut Up and Drive" lip sync between Alyssa Edwards and Tatianna. It made sense, as those queens had been eliminated from the season and were lip syncing for a chance to return to the competition. That term was then used similarly in the "LaLaPaRuZa" episode of All Stars 4, which was also about the potential return of eliminated queens. As eliminated queens were paired up with current competitors, RuPaul declared that they had to "lip sync for your life" to keep that spot in the game. There really aren't any other instances of that term being used on All Stars. Even the iconic lip sync smackdown that nearly brought back Silky Nutmeg Ganache onto All Stars 6 was worded as a "lip sync for your Ru-demption." Nonetheless, that is the rule moving forward in the All Stars 10 semi-finals — a refreshing twist that raises the stakes of this season yet again. No, this wasn't the worst Snatch Game of all time. We've seen worse, several times. Unless it's for recency bias, this Snatch Game probably doesn't enter a rock-bottom list. But this intense reaction comes from a fandom that is — for once — openly loving this season. It's also wild to consider that literally all nine of these queens have made us laugh many times over the years… And then there's this. The Tournament of All Stars Snatch Game included the following impersonations: Aja as Samantha "Cookie Tookie" James, Bosco as Kenny Kerr, Cynthia Lee Fontaine as Dracula, Daya Betty as Jane Lynch, Ginger Minj as Reba McEntire, Irene The Alien as Zsa Zsa Gabor, Jorgeous as Pitbull, Lydia B Kollins as Pete Burns, and Mistress Isabelle Brooks as Natalie Nunn. Paramount+ Raven wears a crown during the Snatch Game of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 10 episode 10. In case you haven't paid attention, RuPaul ends every Snatch Game with an unserious announcement about the "winner" of the challenge. These unserious "winners" have been "the Amish, because they don't have televisions," Victoria Porkchop Parker, "Who cares?!", Charo, and "All of the celebrities who weren't impersonated tonight." But it seems like thousands of likes, comments, and re-posts are taking this unserious winner a little more seriously. "Now, the moment you've all been waiting for. Today's winner is…" RuPaul says at the end of this Snatch Game. "Raven!" The camera cuts to Raven's face. "You're a winner, baby. Condragulations, Raven. Finally!" RuPaul teases. "Is there anything you'd like to say?" Raven, with a literal crown on her head, responds: "With a tanning booth and a dream, anything is possible." Logo TV; Paramount+ Ginger Minj wins the Snatch Game as Adele on RuPaul's Drag Race season 7; as Phyllis Diller on All Stars 6; as Reba McEntire on All Stars 10. All jokes aside, actual Drag Race herstory is made during this episode. Ginger Minj (as Reba McEntire) wins the Tournament of All Stars Snatch Game and becomes the first queen of all time to win the Snatch Game three times. Ginger (as Adele) first won the Snatch Game on Drag Race season 7 in a tie with Kennedy Davenport (as Little Richard). The second time came with Ginger (as Phyllis Diller) also winning this challenge on All Stars 6. VH1; Paramount+ Cynthia Lee Fontaine is eliminated after a Snatch Game impersonation as Sofía Vergara on RuPaul's Drag Race season 9; as Dracula on All Stars 10. Gia Gunn was the first queen — and, until this episode, the only queen — to be eliminated twice as a result of underperforming in the Snatch Game. The first time as Kim Kardashian on Drag Race season 6, then a second time as Jenny Bui on All Stars 4. Cynthia Lee Fontaine's first Snatch Game, as Sofía Vergara, resulted in her elimination from Drag Race season 9. The Cucu queen unfortunately has the same outcome after impersonating Dracula in this All Stars 10 edition of the Snatch Game. Paramount+ Mistress Isabelle Brooks lip syncs to 'Who's Zoomin' Who' by Aretha Franklin on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 10 episode 10. Facts are facts, America! Mistress Isabelle Brooks delivers a truly legendary lip sync performance to the a cappella version of "Who's Zoomin' Who" by Aretha Franklin. And speaking of facts: Franklin's 30th album, Who's Zoomin' Who? (which has an actual question mark not included in the title track), is celebrating its 40th anniversary this Wednesday, July 9. Beyond what anyone thinks about MIB's reality TV shenanigans and/or social media antics, the diva is entirely clocked-in for this lip sync and had old-school drag fans passionately snapping at their TVs for the entire duration of this number. Mistress had a powerful command of the stage while serving a wildly entertaining face journey and being in perfect synchrony with the rhythm of the lyrics… An absolute knockout of a performance that stands out for all the right reasons. It was hard to believe that Drag Race, in 2025, took such a big swing with an a cappella lip sync for this Tournament of All Stars. But it did, and it was incredible. Thank gawd. Do we love to hear that Cynthia Lee Fontaine is suddenly eligible to enter this lottery system being teased all season long? Yes! Are we confused about how this lottery twist actually works and feel like it was heavily implied in the preliminary brackets that this was another chance for the queens who didn't qualify to the semi-finals to have a chance in the next round of the competition despite not making it there with enough points? 'RuPaul's Drag Race' season 17 crowns Miss Congeniality
Editor's note: This article contains SPOILERS for the season 17 finale of . As the reigning Miss Congeniality winners from season 16, Sapphira Cristál and Xunami Muse walked into the grand finale of RuPaul's Drag Race season 17 to announce which queen would follow into their footsteps. Between Xunami showing off her massive "LMAO" sign and Sapphira attempting to use her magical powers to cancel the title of Miss Congeniality… the show went on! As per usual, the crowned Miss Congeniality queen would receive a cash prize of $10,000. MTV Crystal Envy is crowned Miss Congeniality at the RuPaul's Drag Race season 17 finale. The cast members of season 17 voted — and, among them, Crystal Envy was chosen as the new Miss Congeniality. From Asbury Park, NJ, Crystal fell into the bottom two during the Snatch Game episode and had to lip sync against Lana Ja'Rae. Though that lip sync resulted in her early elimination, Crystal was nothing but kind and supportive all season long, on social media, and everywhere else. Crystal Envy will sparkle brighter than ever as the newly-crowned Miss Congeniality. We love to see it! premieres Friday, May 9 on .

Liza Minnelli Making Drag Race Debut in Season 17 Grand Finale — First Look
We've seen Liza Minnelli imitated on Snatch Game, but after 17 seasons, the real deal is finally coming to RuPaul's Drag Race. The legendary performer and longtime gay icon will guest-star in the show's grand finale on Friday, April 18 (MTV, 8/7c), TVLine has learned. Minnelli will grace the main stage to receive Drag Race's first-ever Giving Us Lifetime Achievement Award.
