CBSE 10th Results 2025: Meet Greater Noida's Aarav Malhotra, Who Secured Perfect 500/500
Last Updated: CBSE 10th Toppers 2025: Aarav has got 100 out 100 in English, French, Mathematics Standard, Science, and Artificial Intelligence. 15-year-old Aarav Malhotra from Delhi Public School (DPS), Greater Noida (West), has topped the CBSE Class 10 exams of 2025 with a perfect score of 500 out of 500. For his 10th exams, Aarav picked an unusual combination of subjects. He selected English, French, Mathematics Standard, Science, and Artificial Intelligence. He scored 100 out of 100 marks in all these subjects. According to the CBSE board exams' best-of-five rule, his top five subjects contributed to his 100 percent aggregate. In Social Science he scored 98 out of 100. Aarav's parents, Aarunshi and Kumud Malhotra, had provided him constant support and motivation throughout his class 10 board exams. However, it is not known what the youngster wishes to study in the future. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 10 board exam results for 2025 on Tuesday, May 13. In 2025, a total of 23,85,079 students registered for the exam, out of which 23,71,939 appeared and 22,21,636 passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 93.66 per cent, which is a 0.06 per cent increase from 93.60 per cent in 2024. When it comes to gender-wise performance, girls have once again outshone boys, achieving a pass percentage of 95 per cent, while boys recorded 92.63 per cent. This places girls 2.37 per cent ahead of boys in terms of success rate. Transgender candidates also performed impressively, with their pass percentage improving significantly from 91.30 per cent in 2024 to 95.00 per cent in 2025. Despite the strong performance, 1,41,353 Class 10 students and 1,29,095 Class 12 students have been placed in the compartment category. To provide these students with a second chance, CBSE is set to conduct the Class 10 and 12 Supplementary Examinations 2025 by mid-July, as confirmed by Examination Controller Sanyam Bharadwaj to News18. GSEB Supplementary exam registration window 2025: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has officially opened the application window for the HSC (Class 12) Supplementary Examinations 2025 for both Science and General streams. The students who have either failed in one or more subjects, were absent, or wish to improve their scores can apply for the supplementary exams. As per the latest GSEB notification, students can apply for the supplementary exams between May 12 and May 19, 2025, until 5 PM. CBSE Supplementary Exam 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 10 and 12 board exam results today. This year, 88.39% of students passed the Class 12 exams, while the Class 10 pass percentage stood at 93.66%. Despite the strong performance, 1,41,353 Class 10 students and 1,29,095 Class 12 students have been placed in the compartment category. To provide these students with a second chance, CBSE is set to conduct the Class 10 and 12 Supplementary Examinations 2025 by mid-July, as confirmed by Examination Controller Sanyam Bharadwaj to News18. The board will soon release the detailed exam schedule, including application dates, exam fees, and other important guidelines on its official website. Students declared as 'Compartment' in the 2024-25 board exams must register for the supplementary exams.
