Katie Price red faced as airport security pull her from queue over appearance

Katie Price has claimed she was stopped at passport control in an airport because security staff didn't recognise her face. Speaking to her sister, Sophie Price, in a recent episode of The Katie Price Show, the former glamour model (previously known as Jordan) recounted a "funny" incident while queuing at airport security. Katie explained that she'd been queuing at passport control when she noticed that airport officials "kept looking" at her. This experience made her feel "awkward," and she described it as something that ultimately makes you "more twitchy." Airport staff asked Katie to follow them to what she described as a "visa place", where she was instructed to sit on a chair. Katie, believing she'd "done nothing wrong", obliged the officials, sat down to wait, and started watching "horse videos". She was apparently unfazed by the change of scene, admitting that she didn't mind sitting there. She had an hour and a half to wait for her flight, so it was preferable to walking around the airport and enduring "anxiety that people are looking." She said: "And then the man come back. I dunno what they do to check your passport, whether they Google your name or whatever, but then the police guy came back with a big grin on his face - was like, 'Hi'." Katie continued: "I said, 'I don't look like my passport picture because I've had my face done so many times. I look different. Yeah, and they went, 'No, no. You're all fine. You're all fine. "I went, 'Do you think I need to change my passport for a new one and a new picture?' I said, 'Because this happens all the time', because my passport picture is so old, I don't look like it." Sophie quipped: "Well, it depends if you're going to keep changing your face." Katie added that she also encounters problems with the electronic passport checks, which she says often say "seek assistance" as they "obviously" don't "recognise" her photo. Katie Price speaks at The Cambridge Union on May 07, 2025 in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire (Image: Getty Images for The Cambridge Union) Katie, who described this type of experience as a "b******e", also revealed that in Dubai, she'd told them that she viewed it as a "compliment", as when you "look" at her age, she doesn't "really look like that". In a recent photos taken in Dubai, Katie shows off her slim figure and fuller bottom in a bikini while on a yacht. Having experienced complications from a previous Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), Katie pledged this year not to have the procedure again. However, Katie has reportedly changed her mind and opted for more filler in the area this summer. She opened up about the issues she faced with one of these procedures on the Katherine Ryan: Telling Everybody Everything podcast. She said: "I tried that BBL abroad where they take your own fat and put it in your bum. It was so painful. And it just did not look right on me." Katie Price stopped at airport security as staff 'didn't recognise her face'

Katie Price has claimed she was stopped at passport control in an airport because security staff didn't recognise her face and she was marched to a room to check her identity. Katie Price has revealed that she was reportedlty stopped at passport control in an airport due to security staff failing to recognise her. In a recent episode of The Katie Price Show, she opened up about the incident. ‌ The former glamour model shared the "funny" encounter with her sister Sophie, whilst they had been waiting in line at airport security. Katie detailed how she was queuing at passport control when she noticed airport officials continually glancing her way. ‌ She recalled how this made her feel "awkward," describing it as something that makes you "more twitchy." Airport personnel then asked Katie to accompany them to what she referred to as a "visa place", where she was instructed to take a seat. ‌ Convinced she had done nothing wrong, Katie complied and sat down, and began watching "horse videos". She seemed not phased by the situation, confessing that she didn't mind sitting there as reported by the Mirror. With an hour and a half until her flight, she explained she preferred this to wandering around the airport and dealing with the "anxiety that people are looking." ‌ She recalled: "And then the man come back. I dunno what they do to check your passport, whether they Google your name or whatever, but then the police guy came back with a big grin on his face - was like, 'Hi'." Katie went on to say: "I said, 'I don't look like my passport picture because I've had my face done so many times. I look different. Yeah, and they went, 'No, no. You're all fine. You're all fine. I went, 'Do you think I need to change my passport for a new one and a new picture? I said, 'Because this happens all the time', because my passport picture is so old, I don't look like it." Sophie joked: "Well, it depends if you're going to keep changing your face." Katie mentioned that she also faces difficulties with electronic passport scanners, which frequently display "seek assistance" as they "obviously" fail to "recognise" her photograph. ‌ Katie, who branded this kind of situation as "b******e", also disclosed that whilst in Dubai, she informed officials that she considered it a "compliment", since at her age she doesn't "really look like that". Recent snaps from Dubai show Katie flaunting her slender figure in swimwear aboard a luxury boat. Following complications from a prior bum list, Katie vowed earlier this year to avoid repeating the treatment. However Katie has seemingly had a change of heart and chosen additional filler during the summer months. She discussed the difficulties she encountered with one such procedure on the Katherine Ryan: Telling Everybody Everything podcast. She revealed: "I tried that BBL abroad where they take your own fat and put it in your bum. It was so painful. And it just did not look right on me."

Katherine Ryan is convinced over the gender of her unborn baby as she shows off bump

Pregnant comedian Katherine Ryan gave an update into her pregnancy over on her Instagram stories this morning, revealing she's convinced she knows the gender of her unborn baby Comedian Katherine Ryan has given a candid update into her pregnancy, as she awaits the arrival of her fourth child later this year. ‌ The stand-up and TV star, who recently wrapped up her epic Battleaxe tour around the UK, showed off her bump in a video posted on her Instagram story this morning and said she's sure she knows what she's having. Katherine, 42, is already a proud mum to daughter Violet, from a previous relationship, and shares children Fred, four, and Fenna, two, with her childhood sweetheart husband Bobby Kootstra. ‌ Katherine confirmed her pregnancy with her fourth child on her podcast in June this year and has since been keeping fans updated with the odd snippet of information on her podcast and social media. In a post on her Instagram story shared this morning, Katherine posed in front of a full length mirror, which she recently had installed in front of the bottom of her stairs. ‌ As she stood on a dark walnut brown wood step in her London home, she modelled a casual outfit consisting of a pair of grey tracksuit bottoms, a white T-shirt, in which her blossoming bump was peaking out of the bottom, and a plaid shirt. As she leaned on her bannister and filmed herself, Katherine told the camera: "I could not have picked a better time to get a full length mirror in the corridor. Just got me feeling great..." ‌ Katherine, who recently landed a huge role on the upcoming reality series Real Housewives of London, then walks to another long mirror placed on the other side of her hallway as she shows off her blossoming bump and tells fans: "This has got to be a boy," in reference to her unborn baby. "We don't know," Katherine insists, pre-empting questions about if she and Bobby have found out the gender of their third child together. She then adds: "We never know. A lot of people ask me and it's like, come on. Come on. I try my best to, like, spice up the look. "I got some extensions put in by my friend Reberto – the best – to voluminous the hair that I've decided is not blonde enough so I went to see Sam Burnett, who got me back to my bob but like..." ‌ Katherine then zooms into her bump and lifts her vest top before ending the video with the word: "Honey". The comedian announced her pregnancy on her podcast last month. Giving a candid insight, Katherine discussed her pregnancy with husband Bobby and shared her theories on the gender, as she told Telling Everybody Everything podcast listeners: "The boys are yours and the girls, I feel like, are mine." Bobby added: "I think the best thing for the family would be a girl." Katherine joked that the pregnancy "explained the 20lb weight gain", with Bobby admitting she had kept her pregnancy relatively secret. Her daughter, Violet, however, hinted at the news on social media last week when she shared a clip of her mum's blossoming baby bump.
