Katherine Ryan is convinced over the gender of her unborn baby as she shows off bump

Pregnant comedian Katherine Ryan gave an update into her pregnancy over on her Instagram stories this morning, revealing she's convinced she knows the gender of her unborn baby
Comedian Katherine Ryan has given a candid update into her pregnancy, as she awaits the arrival of her fourth child later this year.

The stand-up and TV star, who recently wrapped up her epic Battleaxe tour around the UK, showed off her bump in a video posted on her Instagram story this morning and said she's sure she knows what she's having. Katherine, 42, is already a proud mum to daughter Violet, from a previous relationship, and shares children Fred, four, and Fenna, two, with her childhood sweetheart husband Bobby Kootstra.

Katherine confirmed her pregnancy with her fourth child on her podcast in June this year and has since been keeping fans updated with the odd snippet of information on her podcast and social media. In a post on her Instagram story shared this morning, Katherine posed in front of a full length mirror, which she recently had installed in front of the bottom of her stairs.

As she stood on a dark walnut brown wood step in her London home, she modelled a casual outfit consisting of a pair of grey tracksuit bottoms, a white T-shirt, in which her blossoming bump was peaking out of the bottom, and a plaid shirt.
As she leaned on her bannister and filmed herself, Katherine told the camera: "I could not have picked a better time to get a full length mirror in the corridor. Just got me feeling great..."

Katherine, who recently landed a huge role on the upcoming reality series Real Housewives of London, then walks to another long mirror placed on the other side of her hallway as she shows off her blossoming bump and tells fans: "This has got to be a boy," in reference to her unborn baby.
"We don't know," Katherine insists, pre-empting questions about if she and Bobby have found out the gender of their third child together. She then adds: "We never know. A lot of people ask me and it's like, come on. Come on. I try my best to, like, spice up the look.
"I got some extensions put in by my friend Reberto – the best – to voluminous the hair that I've decided is not blonde enough so I went to see Sam Burnett, who got me back to my bob but like..."

Katherine then zooms into her bump and lifts her vest top before ending the video with the word: "Honey".
The comedian announced her pregnancy on her podcast last month. Giving a candid insight, Katherine discussed her pregnancy with husband Bobby and shared her theories on the gender, as she told Telling Everybody Everything podcast listeners: "The boys are yours and the girls, I feel like, are mine."
Bobby added: "I think the best thing for the family would be a girl."
Katherine joked that the pregnancy "explained the 20lb weight gain", with Bobby admitting she had kept her pregnancy relatively secret. Her daughter, Violet, however, hinted at the news on social media last week when she shared a clip of her mum's blossoming baby bump.

Ulrika Jonsson, 57, slams trolls for ageist comments over podcast appearance

Ulrika Jonsson took aim at trolls who criticised her appearance following a recent podcast as she also explained why she didn't wear make-up Ulrika Jonsson has slammed trolls who targeted her following a recent podcast appearance. The TV presenter, 57, took aim at the trolls who criticised her appearance recently and called them out for their "nasy comments". ‌ It came after the former model appeared on Spencer Matthews' Untapped Podcast, which is also filmed for fans to watch. Ulrika took to Instagram at the weekend to shut down any bad mouthing and had a stern message for those taking aim at her. ‌ Ulrika explained in her lengthy post that, while she also had positive comments, some viewers felt the need to call her out on her "over-tanned" and "ageing" appearance. But the star wasn't prepared to let them away with it and explained the reasoning behind her look. ‌ After sharing a snap of her blowing a kiss to the camera, she wrote: "I feel I need to address something. I don't get a lot of nasty comments - or if I do, I don't see them or send people love in response. "But a couple of weeks ago I took part in a fab podcast @ to discuss my sobriety with the smart @spencermatthews. I wore no make-up. Partly because I kinda forgot that a project for the ears is nowadays also a feast for the eyes. ‌ "But as someone who has had to wear heavy make-up on screen from 5am for years, I'm not a fan." She also confessed to have suffered from eczema as a child, in particularly on her body in the creases of her arms and legs. She also said she had it on her face. Therefore, make-up was "agony" to wear."There were a lot of positive comments about the WORDS I said on the podcast," she continued. "But a considerable amount about my tanned appearance. AND how OLD I look."In a few weeks I will be 58. I will never look like the fresh 21yr old that used to greet you first thing in the morning by the weather board." She also admitted she isn't ashamed to be "a sun worshipper" and knows she is likely to "pay the price" for that. But she also said that her uneven pigmentation also won't be helped by ageing. ‌ In a candid confession, Ulrika revealed she uses filters on her pictures on occasion as it's easier than applying makeup. However, she also said she works tirelessly in her garden all year round, which often means she is in the sun. She went on: "I rarely sunbathe any more. Haven't had a sunbed for 6 months - which I do occasionally in winter months. Not ashamed. I have not had a holiday - of any kind - since 2018. That's 7yrs."So, I understand that an over-tanned, imperfect and AGEING face offends you. But try to listen to the words rather than constantly judge women's appearance. You might learn something." ‌ And in a defiant sign-off message, she concluded: "And making people feel s*** doesn't make you a hero." While she turned off the comments on the post, Ulrika was met with appreciation from over 20,000 followers hitting the like button. Among them were Saturday Kitchen's Matt Tebbutt and Celebs Go Dating's Anna Williamson. Ulrika had been open on the podcast about how sex has become 'interesting' since she stopped drinking alcohol 13 months ago. She revealed how she felt going sober could impact her sex life, but revealed it has helped. And she revealed how not drinking on dates has changed her outlook: "Not having a drink and going on a date, it's hard - it's really hard because people are not as attractive," she said before adding that after drink "you just become a little bit more available I guess - it is easier."

Waterbomb Festival is returning to Hong Kong this summer, and going to Macau for the first time

We've been itching to go to a music festival soon, and Waterbomb has finally answered our prayers, announcing confirmation of their Hong Kong dates this year. This festival originates from South Korea, and is well-known for being a water party with liberal use of water guns on top of a music festival, so be prepared to get soaked. Mark your calendars for October 4 and 5, as Waterbomb will be taking over the Central Harbourfront. The 2025 lineup has yet to be confirmed, but last year saw major Korean artists like Rain, Jay Park, Loco, Gray, Jessi, StayC, PH-1, and more perform on our stage, so this edition is bound to be pretty stellar as well. If you're planning on going, log onto their Instagram and comment who you'd like to see at the festival in their artist wishlist post – and hopefully with enough fan support, you'll get to see your favourite musicians live in Hong Kong. This year also marks the first time ever that the Waterbomb Festival is going to Macau. The precise venue hasn't been confirmed yet, but the dates are coming up soon next month, on August 9 to 10. Ticket information for both events will be released soon, so check this space. We're keeping our fingers crossed that this year the festival's queues will be managed better – and also praying that we won't be hit by a typhoon during the event again!
