Zack Tabudlo says coaching 'The Voice Kids PH' is a full circle moment

Before his 'surreal' success as a singer-songwriter, Zack Tabudlo got his start as a contestant on 'The Voice Kids' back in 2014, but got eliminated early on. Now, he is the talent search's newest judge in its upcoming edition. In a group interview, Zack said this is 'definitely' a full circle moment for him. 'Until now, I can't believe I'm in this GMA studio doing pictorials with Ben&Ben and sina Julie and Kuya Billy [Crawford],' Zack answered GMA News Online. 'It's crazy. It's a crazy feeling. I think this is sort of those things na parang grabe, I'm so blessed,' he added. 'And this is such a dream of mine that I never expected that would happen, but it's here. So it gives a lot of courage to these kids also to have a dream.' As someone who has been in their shoes before, Zack shared that he wants to impart to the kids that it is not the end of the world, no matter what happens. 'One big thing for kids or like contestants who fall out of the competition, unang iisipin niyan, 'Bbos na 'yung dreams ko, wala na,'' he said. 'When I was their age, honestly, I felt that way also. That's why, in a way, that's the advantage of being a coach kasi I feel for these kids, I know what they went through." According to Zack, that he gets to be a mentor and coach to the contestants now is "evidence na when you actually really dream and you love that dream of yours and your craft, nothing can really stop you from doing what you love to do." He added, "And ikaw lang din 'yun eh, ikaw lang mag-pu-push sa sarili mo.' Zack, along with Ben&Ben twins Paolo and Miguel Benjamin Guico, will be joining the upcoming season of "The Voice Kids Philippines" for the first time as coaches. Julie Anne San Jose and Billy Crawford are also returning as coaches. Production for the show's next season is now underway and will air on GMA Network soon! Zack signed to US-based record label Mercury Records in May. His latest single, 'Manloloko' came out in April. Julie Anne San Jose shares lessons she hopes will stick with her 'The Voice Kids' team

Julie Anne San Jose is set to be a coach for the second time on 'The Voice Kids' this year. Ahead of meeting a new set of #JuleSquad, Asia's Limitless Songbird shared what she hopes to impart to them. First is that they are part of a competition where someone will win and the rest will lose. 'So whatever happens, just always perform or sing like it's your last performance,' she said in a group interview. 'Give your 101% best and commitment sa lahat ng gagawin nila.' Julie Anne also said she hopes the kids will ask for guidance and 'always, always, always have faith in yourself no matter what.' The singer added that the challenges and experiences along the way are 'part of growing up. It's part of life.' 'Lahat naman talaga, hindi natin pwedeng laktawan kasi because definitely we have to go through that phase,' she said. 'I also went through that. Hindi magiging madali 'yung journey pero you always have to look back sa roots mo at kung bakit mo ginagawa 'to,' she added. Finally, Julie Anne said, 'Always love what you do.' The new season of 'The Voice Kids' was teased in July, with a photo of Julie Anne and new judges Zack Tabudlo and Ben&Ben. Julie Anne was in London last month for the London Barrio Fiesta. She also explored the city with boyfriend, Rayver Cruz. She's the voice behind the theme song for 'Sang'gre.' —JCB, GMA Integrated News
