Zack Tabudlo says coaching 'The Voice Kids PH' is a full circle moment

GMA Network2 days ago
Before his 'surreal' success as a singer-songwriter, Zack Tabudlo got his start as a contestant on 'The Voice Kids' back in 2014, but got eliminated early on. Now, he is the talent search's newest judge in its upcoming edition.
In a group interview, Zack said this is 'definitely' a full circle moment for him.
'Until now, I can't believe I'm in this GMA studio doing pictorials with Ben&Ben and sina Julie and Kuya Billy [Crawford],' Zack answered GMA News Online.
'It's crazy. It's a crazy feeling. I think this is sort of those things na parang grabe, I'm so blessed,' he added.
'And this is such a dream of mine that I never expected that would happen, but it's here. So it gives a lot of courage to these kids also to have a dream.'
As someone who has been in their shoes before, Zack shared that he wants to impart to the kids that it is not the end of the world, no matter what happens.
'One big thing for kids or like contestants who fall out of the competition, unang iisipin niyan, 'Bbos na 'yung dreams ko, wala na,'' he said. 'When I was their age, honestly, I felt that way also. That's why, in a way, that's the advantage of being a coach kasi I feel for these kids, I know what they went through."
According to Zack, that he gets to be a mentor and coach to the contestants now is "evidence na when you actually really dream and you love that dream of yours and your craft, nothing can really stop you from doing what you love to do."
He added, "And ikaw lang din 'yun eh, ikaw lang mag-pu-push sa sarili mo.'
Zack, along with Ben&Ben twins Paolo and Miguel Benjamin Guico, will be joining the upcoming season of "The Voice Kids Philippines" for the first time as coaches. Julie Anne San Jose and Billy Crawford are also returning as coaches.
Production for the show's next season is now underway and will air on GMA Network soon!
Zack signed to US-based record label Mercury Records in May. His latest single, 'Manloloko' came out in April. Zack is best known for the songs 'Pano' and 'Give Me Your Forever.'

'The Clash': Jayce San Rafael still feels like a winner thanks to family's support

Jayce San Rafael is exiting the 'The Clash' a lot more sure about himself. The Las Pinas-based singer is the latest hopeful to get eliminated from the reality talent search. In an interview with GMA News Online, Jayce said that in joining 'The Clash,' he wanted to prove something to his family. His older siblings are the Tukomi Brothers, vloggers who went viral for their prank videos, and this became his source of motivation in the competition. 'Biggest achievement would be finally, makuha ko 'yung support and appreciation ng family ko,' Jayce told GMA News Online. 'Feeling ko talaga ako 'yung weakest link, ako 'yung loser sa 'min eh. Kasi tatlo kaming magkakapatid, kambal sila. Feeling ko hindi ako na-a-appreciate, feeling ko walang suporta sa 'kin 'yung family ko,' he added. Jayce said that he now sees his family's love and support towards him. 'Win or lose, whatever happens in the competition, maging successful man o hindi—ang success ko 'yung pamilya ko na babalikan,' he said. 'Alam kong may nagmamahal sa 'king pamilya at susuportahan ako all the way.' 'Panalo na 'ko na nararamdaman ko 'yung family support eh,' he added. 'Matalo man ako, feel ko panalo na ako eh. Matanggal man ako ngayon po, happy ako na uuwi ako sa bahay na masaya.' And despite the results of the show, Jayce remains determined and keeps his heart in music. 'Basta ako, pursue ko talaga 'yung music whatever happens.' 'Magsusulat ako, magpo-produce ako for myself and for other artists.' Should he go back to his day job or regular days, 'Alam ko sa sarili ko na may nagawa ako for my music. Nakasali ako sa national singing competition, naharap ko 'yung fears ko na ma-TV.' In a previous interview, Jayce likened his 'The Clash' journey to the song 'The Winner Takes It All' by ABBA because 'matira matibay talaga.' He added there are a lot of challenges, twists, and turns in the competition and so, 'Kung sino man mananalo, you deserve it.' 'The Clash' airs at 7:15 p.m. on Sundays on GMA Network. —JCB, GMA Integrated News

Bianca Umali reveals artistry behind her GMA Gala 2025 outfit

Bianca Umali turned heads at the GMA Gala 2025, and a week after the star-studded event, she's giving a closer look at the artistry behind her stunning two-piece ensemble. On Instagram, the Kapuso Prime Gem shared a reel documenting the creation of her custom look by Filipino designer Jerome Lorico. "What you see here is more than just an outfit—it's the culmination of craftsmanship, heritage, and vision," Bianca wrote. As seen on the reel, her top was sculpted from real capiz shells, each hand-cut, sanded, and molded directly on her body. The result was a shimmering piece that Bianca described as "armor and adornment in one." Meanwhile, the skirt was crafted from handwoven cotton and gold thread with piña cloth. "Every pleat and panel [were] designed to flow with my stride, to catch the air in moments of stillness and in motion," she said. To complete the look, Bianca carried a handmade bag that echoed the materials and tones of her outfit, "tying every element into a cohesive visual story." According to Bianca, the result of her GMA Gala 2025 outfit was a reminder of why "fashion is an art form." "One that requires patience, collaboration, and a deep respect for both culture and craft," she said. "Wearing it feels like carrying the hands, hearts, and history of those who made it possible," she added. Bianca currently stars as Terra in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre." It airs on GMA Network from Mondays to Fridays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it online via the Kapuso Stream on YouTube. —Hermes Joy Tunac/MGP, GMA Integrated News
