Farmers express joy over Annadata Sukhibhava scheme implementation

Nellore: A festive atmosphere was seen at Vemireddy Prabhakara Reddy(VPR) Concention in Kovur as the scores of farmers thronged to secure the financial help under one among ‚ Super Six' of TDP led coalition government Annadatha Sukhibhava Scheme(ASS) on Saturday. According to the official sources as many as 16,938 farmers under the scheme, while 13,002 PM Kisan Samman Yojana(PKSY) total 29,400 received Rs 11 crores in Kovur constituency. Farmers has expressed joy over securing the amount under both ASS and PKSY schemes at a time. Speaking the occasion, Kovur MLA Vemireddy Prasanthi Reddy said that she feel fortunate for having work with a remarkable political personality and visionary leader Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu as he is keen on completing every assurance given to the people during 2024 electioneering. The MLA said that as many as 46,85 868 farmers have got benefited Rs 3, 174 crores under ASS and PKSY schemes in the entire State. The MLA said that government will provide the amount to Tenant Farmers each Rs 20,000 under these two schemes in two phases in coming Rabi season and summer period. While saying that selection of beneficiaries was conducted in a transparent manner based on their documentary evidences enrolled in online system. He said that in case any farmer failed to secure the amount he can approach with toll free number 155221 as government will consider his appeal and redress the problem at once. District Collector O Anand has said that approximately 1.90 lakh farmers under ASS and PKSY have received Rs 131 crores in the entire district. Joinr Director of Agriculture P Satya Vani has said that applications of 18,000 farmers for under ASS and PMSY were declined due to various reasons including wrong feeding of information in online system. She said that government will open Grievance Module from 3rd August as the farmers who failed to secure the scheme will reapply with proper information. Agriculture department Assistant Director Anitha, Kovur MRO Subbaiah, MDO Srihari Reddy and others were present.

Nellore: MP Vemireddy Prabhakara Reddy has said that he feels fortunate to work under the leadership of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu who has been striving hard for the development of the State. As part of ongoing 'Suparipalanalo Tholi Adugu' programme, the MP along with Kavali MLA Dagumati Venkata Krishna Reddy has inaugurated Rs 6-crore worth various developmental programmes at Chelamcharla village in Kavali rural mandal on Monday. Speaking on thet occasion, the MP said that during his tours for 20 times to New Delhi as Chief Minister, 'Chandrababu Naidu has brought several projects worth crores of rupees to AP as no Chief Minister earlier has done to protect the interests of the State. While saying that Kavali was his native constituency, the MP has assured the people that he would develop the area spending funds under MP Local Area Development Scheme (MP Lads). The MP said that unemployed youth of Kavali constituency would have jobs as the works are under progress for establishment of airport and BPCL company in Dagadarthi mandal in a war-footing. The MP has recalled that he has established a Drinking Water Plant (DWP) under VPR foundation in 2018 which is uninterruptedly continuing till date. Stating that there are 200 DWPs existing in Nellore district, the MP said that the VPR Foundation would establish more to cater to the needs of people. Kavali MLA Dagumati Venkata Krishna Reddy has said that Chelamcharla village was witnessing much development. Recently a road was laid and tap connections were being provided to every house under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). The MLA has disclosed that it was proposed to establish power sub-station at Siripuram village to overcome low voltage problem very soon. On the occasion, the MP and MLA visited every house and explained the welfare schemes being implemented by the TDP-led coalition government. Party leaders P Alekhya, A Ramakrishna, M Venkateswara Rao, Ramprasad and others were present.

PTM held at 3,600 schools across Nellore

AParents-Teachers Meeting (PTM) was organised in 3,600 public and private schools across Nellore district to promote quality education. Minister Ponguru Narayana and Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakara Reddy participated in the event, which saw enthusiastic participation from local representatives, officials, parents, and children. Narayana credited human resources development minister Nara Lokesh with the PTM concept, aimed at addressing students' practical difficulties and personal problems. He noted that the dropout percentage in government schools had drastically decreased since the introduction of PTM. The minister appealed to philanthropists to adopt government schools under the P-4 concept to transform Nellore into an educational hub. Two schools, RSR Municipal High School and Mulapet Municipal School, were adopted by the Nellore MP and DSR Constructions, respectively, with promises of renovation by next year. Nellore municipal commissioner Y O Nandan, DEO Balaji Rao and others attended.

Naidu alone can eradicate poverty: Vemireddy

Nellore: Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakara Reddy has asserted that eradication of poverty is possible only with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu as he was striving hard to achieve such a mammoth task. He participated in a programme at SR Sankaran Hall at the Collectorate here on Monday, where CM Naidu virtually inaugurated Swarnandhra vision offices in all 175 constituencies. Later speaking to reporters, Vemireddy said that as part of the initiative in eradicating poverty, Naidu has introduced P-4 concept. He detailed that to implement Swarnandhra 2047 Vision effectively, which has framed with 10 principles, the government proposed to establish one office with nine members to coordinate with MLAs in their respective constituencies. Analysing that at present aqua culture is most profitable in Nellore district, the MP opined that if P-4 concept is linked with aqua culture, there will be a possibility of securing excellent results. Joint Collector K Karthik, DRO Udaya Baskar Rao, Chief Planning Officer Raghuramaiah and others were present.
