Two Chinese nationals arrested on India-Nepal border for ‘suspicious activities'
Two Chinese nationals have been arrested from the Jatahi-Pipraun border in Madhubani district of Bihar after they were allegedly seen taking photographs in the sensitive border area late Wednesday evening. Madhubani Superintendent of Police Yogendra Kumar confirmed that the two have been nabbed from the India-Nepal border in a joint operation by the district police and the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). 'Both individuals have been arrested under the Foreigners Act 1946. During inspection, we couldn't find any valid travel documents or visas. During initial questioning, it was revealed that they had been travelling in Nepal for the past three months and have crossed the border in the last few days,' the officer said, SP Kumar further added: 'During our preliminary investigation, we found some questionable content on their mobile phones, which can't be disclosed right now as investigations are still ongoing. However, we will be taking them on remand for further interrogation, and if needed, we will also seek assistance from central agencies'. Local sources claimed that some 'anti-India videos' have been found on one of the suspect's phones. They also claimed that while communication was difficult with the suspects — only one of whom spoke some English — translators and language experts were called in to assist with the investigation. Authorities are now trying to establish the identities, motives and activities of both individuals, officials said.

Mysterious Drone-Like Objects Spotted Along India-Nepal Border; IAF, Police On High Alert
In a worrying turn of events along the global border, unknown drone-like flying objects were noticed entering Indian territory from Nepal on Monday evening, prompting a multi-agency alert and increased vigilance across Bihar's Madhubani district. Official sources said that personnel of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) deployed at the Kamala Border Outpost (BOP) in Jaynagar reported witnessing "mysterious illuminated aerial objects" flying above the India-Nepal border near midnight. The glowing objects are said to have lingered for almost 30 minutes before disappearing back into Nepalese skies. Superintendent of Police Yogendra Kumar confirmed the sightings, saying, "The SSB personnel acted swiftly and informed the Indian Air Force (IAF) bases in Darbhanga and Delhi. Local police units were also alerted, and a formal investigation is now underway." As a response, police stations around the area have increased patrolling activities. "Security has been tightened along the border, and all concerned agencies are coordinating closely to monitor the situation," SP Kumar said. The porous India-Nepal border in Bihar has historically been a hotspot for smuggling, human trafficking, and unauthorised movement. Officials remain on edge, particularly in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming two-day visit to the state starting May 29. This incident comes amid growing concerns about aerial surveillance, trans-border security breaches, and the potential misuse of drone technology for illicit activities. The authorities have not so far established the origin or nature of the objects, but investigations are ongoing with the help of local police, central intelligence agencies, and the IAF.

Drone-like objects spotted over India-Nepal border, security heightened
Drone-like objects were spotted over the India-Nepal border in Bihar's Madhubani district, following which an investigation was started, police said on Tuesday. According to the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel posted at the Kamala border outpost (BOP) area in Jaynagar, some 'mysterious drone-like illuminated objects' were sighted entering Indian airspace from Nepal on Monday night, Superintendent of Police Yogendra Kumar said. 'They immediately informed the Indian Air Force authorities in Darbhanga and Delhi. The district police were also informed. An investigation has been started,' he said. 'The glowing tiny objects were observed for about half an hour, and they finally went back to the Nepal side. The district police are already on alert and maintaining strict vigil in coordination with other agencies,' he added. Police stations along the India-Nepal border have been instructed to intensify patrolling, the SP said. Bihar shares a long and porous border with Nepal, which has often been used by illegal immigrants from other countries to sneak into the Indian territory. Security has already been heightened across the state due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's two-day visit, starting May 29.

How does nano urea fertilizer benefit farmers? IFFCO's Yogendra Kumar explains
IFFCO Nano Urea serves as an innovative agricultural input utilising nanotechnology to deliver nitrogen to plants. (AI image) Nano urea is being seen as a revolutionary invention in agriculture. From its price to the method of use and potential to increase incomes of farmers, nano urea is an important solution in the agriculture sector . According to Yogendra Kumar, Marketing Director at IFFCO, using the nano urea fertilizer will help increase the soil yield. This is because lesser amount of fertilizer will be required. Yogendra Kumar also said that nano urea fertilizer nourishes the crop to make it healthy. Nano Urea Plus (Liquid) is an enhanced version of Nano Urea, featuring a higher nitrogen concentration (20% N w/v equivalent to 16% N w/w). This formulation incorporates various nitrogen forms (Urea-Amide, Ammoniacal, Aminos etc.) and includes bio-polymers and additional excipients in its composition. Incidentally, IFFCO Nano Urea (Liquid) is the world's first nanofertilizer which has been notified by Fertilizer Control Order (FCO, 1985), Government of India. "The crops are healthier and the chances of pest infestation are greatly reduced. Additionally, even if there is a case of pest infestation, the treatment required would be minor." He also says that nano urea is a cost-effective and environment friendly option for farmers. Yogendra Kumar added that healthier crops with higher strength in holding on to the soil due to use of nano urea are able to bear natural disturbances like higher wind speeds better. IFFCO Nano Urea serves as an innovative agricultural input utilising nanotechnology to deliver nitrogen to plants. It represents a sustainable alternative for farmers, promoting efficient agriculture whilst addressing climate change concerns. Its effectiveness as a fertilizer stems from its optimal particle dimensions of 20-50 nm, enhanced surface area (10,000 times greater than a 1mm urea pill) and increased particle count (55,000 nitrogen particles compared to a 1mm urea pill). The enhanced properties of nano urea result in superior crop absorption, with over 80% availability, leading to improved nutrient utilisation efficiency. Top benefits of Nano Urea Better quality food Reduction in chemical fertilizer usage Environment friendly Higher crop yields Easy to store and transport Increased income for farmers Nano urea serves as a crucial element in 4 R nutrient stewardship, advancing both precision farming and sustainable agricultural practices. Its manufacturing process exemplifies clean and environmentally friendly technology, requiring minimal energy and resource consumption during industrial production. Furthermore, Nano urea significantly reduces the environmental impact by decreasing nutrient losses from agricultural lands through leaching and gaseous emissions, which previously contributed to environmental degradation and climate change effects. Nano Urea Plus demonstrates considerable energy efficiency and produces fewer carbon dioxide emissions compared to alternative products. Additionally, the application of Nano Urea Plus (Liquid) enables farmers to decrease their usage of conventional top-Dressed Urea (Granular/Prill) by as much as 50%.
