Can bounce back. VALUE BET Race 3 No.7 AROHA STONE: Back in grade and distance. Very unlucky here two runs back. QUADDIE Race 4: 5, 9 Race 5: 1, 8, 10 Race 6: 1, 5, 6 Race 7: 5, 10, 13 JOCKEY TO FOLLOW James McDonald is back in town and can take out the TAB Jockey Challenge. LAY OF THE DAY Race 2 No.6 THE STARS: Drawn wide in an open race. A worthy risk at anything less than $4. WARWICK FARM INSIDE MAIL RACE 1: 2&3yo Maiden Handicap (1600m) INDIGO STAR (2) was no match for Stardeel but worked home okay for second over 1100m first-up on the Kensington. Raced three-wide without cover when third to Invisible Magic over 1400m last start. Looks like he will appreciate the step up to the mile. RASP (6) was third at Ballarat at his first run for a new stable before a good closing third at Bendigo over 1400m. Was fourth to Broadsiding in the Fernhill at his only go at this trip. DOLLARS (8) didn't have a lot of luck when beaten as favourite at Coffs Harbour. Handy second at Newcastle last start over this trip. BET: INDIGO STAR (2) to win. RACE 2: 2&3yo Maiden Plate (1100m) DUKE ATREIDES (8), the half-brother to Best Of Bordeaux, started favourite on debut when a two-length fourth to the very promising San Giovanni who won again on the weekend. This colt will take improvement from the run and drawn to be prominent. KOKATAHI (10) was good on debut when a three-quarter length third to Central Coast over 1250m at Canterbury on June 18. Followed up with a handy third to Tomato Toastie at Randwick on July 12. Back to maiden grade. THE STARS (6) placed at her last two runs on last campaign and returned with a second to Samarelle at Newcastle. BET: DUKE ATREIDES (8) each-way. RACE 3: Fillies & Mares Benchmark 72 (1600m) AROHA STONE (7) was something beaten here two runs back when badly held up before finishing a nose behind Covert Thinking. Up in grade and found a strongly run 1800m tough when seventh to Aberlour. Back in grade and back to the mile suits. AUDREY'S LANE (3) resumed from an eight month lay-off with a handy second to Bella Corazon when giving away 3kg. With the benefit of that run, she came from midfield to beat the in-form California Secret at Newcastle. AUTUMN DREAM (6) was very good winning at Kembla last start. Ready to step up to city company. BET: AROHA STONE (7) each-way. RACE 4: Colts, Horses & Geldings Benchmark 72 (1600m) TAZIMA (5) settled three back on the rails before running home strongly late for a three-quarter length fourth to Sammy Conquers All over 1400m on the Kensington at his Australian debut. Won over 2011m at his second and last run in England. FIORSUM FRED (9) was very unlucky at Tamworth two starts ago when held up. He finished eighth to Rajnish but should has gone close to winning. Jumped up in grade and beaten less than three lengths behind Boys Night out in the South Grafton Cup. Drops back sharply in grade and only goes up 2kg. PINK SHALALA (4) and KAPAKIRI (2) have claims. BET: TAZIMA (5) to win. RACE 5: Benchmark 72 (2200m) NAVAL COMMISSION (1) should have run a place at the very least at Rosehill last start when held at two vital stages in the last 150m and finishing fifth behind Good Banter. Placed at his previous three runs as he was building in trip. Winner at this track and distance. HOVLAND (8) was beaten a nose second-up at Gosford before a nice win from Magicon over 1800m at Hawkesbury. Stepped up in class when a length fifth to Monarchs Brae on a heavy track at Canterbury. Up to 2200m for the first time and the blinkers come off. MAGICON (10) has been racing well and scored a deserved win over this trip at Grafton last start. BET: NAVAL COMMISSION (1) to win. RACE 6: Benchmark 72 (1000m) CASSIEL (1) was kicked off his campaign with a good wins at Canterbury on Apr 21 and at Hawkesbury on June 17. Denied the hat-trick when stepping up to Saturday grade when runner-up to Bundeena in a Bm78 at Randwick. Back in grade and hard to beat. MABEL (6) hasn't won since Nov 2023 but she has run some good races. Was a nose second to Angel Fund in a Randwick Midway in January and was a little unlucky when fourth to Bundeena at Randwick last start. JAMBALAYA (5) resumes after a stylish trial win here on July 8. Has a win and two placings from his three fresh runs. BET: CASSIEL (1) to win. RACE 7: Benchmark 72 (1300m) GOLDEN STRAAND (10) was a little green on debut when a length second to Sapphire Rose at Wyong before breaking through with a big Super Maiden win at Gosford. Jumped up to a Bm72 with a game second to Diddle Dumpling at Rosehill. THE REPLICANT (13) hasn't won since beaten Bluff 'N' Bluster over 1400m here on Oct 2, 2023 but is rarely far away. Placed his last two at Canterbury and drawn ideally. AFRICAN DAISY (5) ended an 889-day drought in winning a Rosehill Midway last start. BET: GOLDEN STRAAND (10) to win.

Lismore best bets, inside mail for Friday, July 25, 2025
Racenet and The Daily Telegraph form analyst Shayne O'Cass provides his best bets, value selection and race-by-race analysis for Lismore on Friday. The Form: Complete NSW Racing thoroughbred form, including video replays and all you need to know about every horse, jockey and trainer. BEST BET Race 3 No. 2: TORQUE TI AMO Castlevecchio filly who rattled home first-up in a Super Maiden. Extra trip suits. Lightly-raced mare who will win her share of races. Draw the only issue. VALUE Peter Robl trained gelding who is heading in the right direction QUADDIE Race 5: 1, 3, 4, 6 Race 6: 1, 4, 7 Race 7: 1, 2, 3, 4 Race 8: 1, 3, 5, 15 JOCKEY TO FOLLOW Superstar apprentice JETT NEWMAN can rack up some points in the TAB Jockeys Challenge (before scratchings). INSIDE MAIL - LISMORE MISS UCHITEL (2) was born and raced at Gilgai Farm in Victoria. In fact. she has the same 'brand' as another Gilgai graduate in Black Caviar. To add to her value, Miss Uchitel is a daughter of the Tasmanian stakes-winner, Spinning Jenny. Ultra-consistent mare who shapes well here again. Stablemate OUR SILVER LININGS (1) really ate into the margin first-up at the Gold Coast. Has drawn well and gets 2kg off for superstar apprentice, Jett Newman. A NOTION (5) has done enough to be respected and considered. Bet: Miss Uchitel to win â– â– â– â– â– RACE 2: XXXX Gold Mdn Plate BARRON (1) is a cleverly-named son of a mare called White House Lady. Granted, the equine Barron hasn't been able to trump his rivals in 33 starts no less but he has placed 13 times and occasionally in rather good maiden company. He'll get there sooner rather than later. HAYLEY'S ROCKET (6) had trialled well behind a good horse then came out and ran a slashing debut behind a handful of good horses in that 1106m Super Maiden on the South Grafton Cup undercard. Go well. Bet: Barron each-way, quinella 1, 6 â– â– â– â– â– TORQUE TI AMO (2) is a Matthew Dunn-trained filly by Castelvecchio which goes a long way to accounting for why she seems to have such a powerful finishing burst. We saw that in plain view when she resumed at Grafton in the Super Maiden where she was getting ever closer to the winner, namely her handy stablemate, Gaylord. SASKATOON BERRY (12) has gone 29 starts without a win but she has placed nine times. She deserves one but has run into a potentially above average horse. Bet: Torque Ti Amo to win, exacta 2 to beat 12 â– â– â– â– â– RACE 4: Lismore Floor Coverings Mdn Plate NATIONAL GOAL (7) is trained by Peter Robl who will be in Darwin in 11 days' time striving for back-to-back Cups with last year's winner, Hadoukan. National Goal was in the market but never in the race first-up, taken back from a wide gate. Has trialled well since and cops a much more favourable gate today. LET'S DO IT AGAIN (4) hasn't fared as well in the barrier stakes but gets Ben Looker to assist and is a horse on an upward trajectory. BETTER BELIEVE IT (9), ANDROSS (1) and KEMAL (3) have claims. Bet: National Goal each-way â– â– â– â– â– WRITTEN FAME (1) is part of the Darby Bloodstock string. They only paid $10,000 for him at the HTBA Yearling Sale and this Matthew Dunn-trained gelding has won $76,025 in 14 starts with the promise of more to come. Written Fame has the capacity to go on all surfaces and he is most effective circa this trip. Nice alley, has a 2kg claim too. WESTERLY (6) hasn't been seen since winning at Coffs Harbour on December 14 hence the market is the guide. RYLOV (3) is in the mix and by the way, look at his damline; Rhema, Mannington, Bint Marscay, Eau D'Etoile. Bet: Written Fame to win â– â– â– â– â– GOT THE SMARTS (4) was bred at Gooree and hails from one of their most prized families of which they have had a few. Long story short, she is by Gooree's own Smart Missile, is also a half-sister to Tactical Advantage and from the same family as the iron horse, Desert War. Got The Smarts is a tidy little resume; super reliable and good enough to win better races. That said, MOFEED (1) is a genuine obstacle. He too has done by far more good than bad in his nine starts. DIZZY DEE (7) and NO RAGRETS (5) are players. Bet: Got The Smarts to win â– â– â– â– â– SO YOU CAN TORQUE (3) was a $20,000 bargain at the 2022 HTBA Yearling Sale. What a pedigree. He is by 10-time Group 1 winner So You Think out of a half-sister to the Melbourne Cup winner, Vow And Declare. It stands to reason then that this Matthew Dunn-trained racehorse is only going to get better as time goes by and he's already done some good things. GAVIN (2) is a chance (if he comes). CHAMPONNET (1), another Dunn runner, has drawn wide but the form reads well. Ditto, in fact double that, for YOUCOMPLETEME (4). Bet: So You Can Torque to win â– â– â– â– â– INSINUATE (2) was a $510,000 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling sale buy. Why? Well for starters, she is by the four-time Champion Sire Snitzel then there is the fact that her dam won the Wellington Boot. Not just any Boot winner, Sin Sin Sin, was her name and she is now known as the mother of Yes Yes Yes. Matthew Dunn has got this filly flying and box 2 with Jett Newman only seals the deal. HOTZINO (5) is a chance (if he comes). Outside of him, maybe the other Dunn runners; CALVARY (4) and LUCKY NEKO (9) are the 'threats' to Insinuate. Bet: Insinuate to win BEST BET Race 3 No. 2: Torque Ti Amo Castlevecchio filly who rattled home first-up in a Super Maiden. Extra trip suits. NEXT BEST Race 6 No. 4: Got The Smarts Lightly-raced mare who will win her share of races. Draw the only issue. VALUE Race 4 No. 7: National Goal Peter Robl trained gelding who is heading in the right direction QUADDIE Race 5: 1,3,4,6 Race 6: 1,4,7 Race 7: 1,2,3,4 Race 8: 1,3,5,15 JOCKEY TO FOLLOW Super star apprentice Jett Newman can rack up some points in the TAB Jockeys Challenge (before scratchings) (for online only) LAY

SUBSCRIBE NOW! â– â– â– â– â– BEST BET Race 4 No.5 AMREEKIYAH: Went back-to-back in her first campaign. Can remain unbeaten. NEXT BEST Race 5 No.1 NO DRAMA: Loves racing here. Narrowly beaten last start and can go one better. VALUE BET Race 7 No.10 KENMARE BAY: Was good winning at his first run here two starts back. Go close again. QUADDIE Race 4: 1, 5 Race 5: 1, 3, 8 Race 6: 1, 2, 10 Race 7: 3, 7, 10 JOCKEY TO FOLLOW Kerrin McEvoy has some nice rides and looks a good chance in the TAB Jockey Challenge. TRIPLE TWO EIGHT (8) was bumped at the start and settled well back on debut at Warwick Farm. Got the outside and closed strongly in the last 50m for third to Tomato Toastie. Will be improved by the run. MISS JONES (2) led when second behind Glorious Moments over 1200m here on June 18. Returned three weeks later when fourth to Infusion after missing the start. KERBER (5) was specked from $21 into $13 on debut in the Listed Lonhro Plate when ninth to Bellazaine. Closed nicely when fifth in his recent Rosehill trial. BET: TRIPLE TWO EIGHT (8) to win. KOKATAHI (2) was a little green on debut and laid in when a three-quarter length third to Central Coast here on June 18. Had an easy trial at Rosehill before a third to Tomato Toastie at Randwick on July 12. SKYGLIDER (7) is a first starter by Flying Artie from the family of dual Group 1 winner Turffontein. Led and kept under a hold when third to Nashville Jack in his first trial at Rosehill. Sat three-wide outside the leaders and came away to win his second heat. SIXTIES (9) was held up for clear running until the 100m when eighth at Gosford on debut. BET: KOKATAHI (2) to win. MAQUISA (8) was okay first-up when third behind impressive winner Stardeel on the Kensington. Unlucky here last start when held up in the straight and having to change course near the 100m when second to Infusion. KILONOVA (4) won on debut at Rosehill in February before a spell. Led and fought on gamely for a head second to Signor Tortoni when resuming over 1200m here two weeks ago. SHALAA GOLD (2) was rewarded for his consistent form when he ended last campaign with a win from Everybody Rise at Warwick Farm. Nice win from the in-form King Of Roseau in his Randwick trial. BET: MAQUISA (8) each-way. AMREEKIYAH (5) did a nice job to beat the favourite Inevitable Truth on debut ta Kembla and followed up with an all-the-way win from Pinito at Newcastle. Trialling nicely including a closing win from Metaphorically in her Hawkesbury heat. ISLAND DREAM (1) followed a Hawkesbury maiden win with a Benchmark 72 win at Rosehill before stepping up to the Group 3 Kembla Grange Classic when 11th to Verona Rose. RINGAROSA (4) was first-up from a length spell for a new stable when fourth to Romeo's Choice at Warwick Farm three weeks ago. Is a winner at this track and distance and drawn to be prominent. BET: AMREEKIYAH (5) to win. NO DRAMA (1) loves Canterbury where he has two wins and a second from three runs. Led all-the-way for a smart win from Naval Commission over this track and distance in April. Returned to Canterbury on June 18 with a solid half-length second to Nana's Wish. GALANO (1) resumed with a stylish win at Muswellbrook. Has won two from three second-up. Was runner-up to Fay's Angel over 1900m here at the end of last campaign. DELRICO (8) was held up for 150m in the straight when fifth to Centenario here last start. Was a winner here last campaign. BET: NO DRAMA (1) to win. THE REPLICANT (10) has won just three races from 39 starts but has a further 22 placings. Three of those placings have been in his three runs here, the latest a second to Hanau on July 9. Has claims from the inside draw. METAPHORICALLY (1) raced well below his best when last behind Getafix and pulled up 1/5 lame on the Kensington last start. Has since finished second to Amreekiyah in a Hawkesbury trial. Resumed with a head third to The Great Houdini and Puntin here first-up. PRETTY POWERFUL (2) was held up over the final 400m and untested at Randwick last start. Won here last campaign. KENMARE BAY (10) has had a lengthy campaign but continues to race well. Came from midfield and pushed out on the turn to beat Tempranillo over this track and distance on May 28. Was five weeks between runs when third to Nana's Wish at Warwick Farm. HOVLAND (7) was very good winning at Hawkesbury over 1800m then had to change course inside the last 100m when fifth to Monarch's Brae here last start. SLY BOOTS (3) was good late from back in the field when fifth to Puntin over 1400m at Rosehill first-up before a sixth to Oh Diamond Lil over 1600m at Randwick last start.

Bathurst, Moruya Tips and Inside Mail for Monday from Shayne O'Cass
Form analyst Shayne O'Cass has provided his best bets and race-by-race analysis for the quaddie legs at Monday's NSW country meetings at Bathurst and Moruya. â– â– â– â– â– BATHURST TIPS BEST BET Runner-up at his only two starts for the new stable and ready to win. Scratched from the Kensington meeting last Wednesday with this race in mind. Has some talent. VALUE Local whose sole win was here and first-up as is the case in this. â– â– â– â– â– QUADDIE Race 4: 5 Race 5: 3,4,6 Race 6: 2,3,4,6 Race 7: 2,7,5,6 â– â– â– â– â– JOCKEY TO FOLLOW Grant Buckley has ridden 144 winners at Bathurst and has a good book on Monday. â– â– â– â– â– BATHURST INSIDE MAIL RACE 4 – Benchmark 58 Handicap (1300m) Green Pineapple 's lone win in 10 starts was here at Bathurst and first-up over this very same trip back when Roy McCabe had him. The horse's last four runs are for Gayna Williams who has found a suitable race at home to resume in. Thoughtful, who races in the same colours as his close relative Happy Clapper, has the job ahead with a wide draw and a big weight but if he brings his A-game, he's a chance. Slush Fund is ready for the 1400m and barrier 1 (hopefully) can't hurt. Bet: Green Pineapple each-way. Skiing is a former Ciaron Maher-trained galloper who has raced seven times for Robert Quinn inclusive of two fourths and two fifths, three of them at provincial level. In terms of the trip, he was in a strong Midway class race at Newcastle last start and ran fifth; very fit and drawn 3. The best Final Comment is better than most of his rivals. Needs it fairly dry. Outcast Girl has claims. Island Legend used to wear the Classique Legend colours of Bon Ho back in the early days. Fast forward to more recent times and this son of Capitalist calls Wyong home with Nikki Hodgson calling the shots. Resumes here off a lovely trial win with Winona Costin the key booking. Starane is a terrific little bush horse. This will be his 40th start and he's won five and placed 13 times – and always in good country class races. Navios was huge in his local debut. Pressnell has drawn the outside alley twice in six starts and hasn't fared a whole lot better here with 14 although he'll come in a few closer to the inside rail after scratchings. There is no doubt the talent is there, and everything says 1400m will be his go. Saint Philomena beat a decent field at Mudgee on July 6 to shed her maiden status. No reason why she can't climb another rung in this. Ditto that for Bonnie And Bruce. Bet: Pressnell to win. â– â– â– â– â– MORUYA TIPS BEST BET Race 4 No. 9: Beauty Dash Really is racing herself ever closer to a first win. NEXT BEST Race 5 No. 10: Miss Steffi Graff filly (of course) on debut off some lovely trials. VALUE So You Think, granddaughter of Let's Elope and she is on the improve. **** LAY OF THE DAY **** SPICE BABY (Race 5 No. 11) Has trialled well but has competition from the likes of 6, 10 and 11 others hence lay in a full field only. â– â– â– â– â– RACE 5 – Maiden Handicap (1020m) Miss Steffi is a daughter of Graff and was bought for $20,000 at the Magic Millions. her three trials can summed up this way; 'good, very good and 'not as bad as it looks'. Love the draw for her here and has an experienced jockey on. The astute Trevor Lobb paid $15,000 at the HTBA Yearling Sale for Molteuno knowing it was way too cheap for granddaughter of Dizelle. There was a lot of hidden merit in her debut. Bet: Miss Steffi to win, Molteuno each-way, exacta 10 to beat 6. Rippana will turn six on August but only has five starts on her CV for one reason or another. What is important is that she has won twice, finished third once together with a fourth and a fifth. That win came first-up last prep and she thrashed them too. This will be Selhurst Park 's 14th run at the track and trip. He has one win and five placings. Watch him charging home late as always. Bet: Rippana to win, exacta 8 to beat 10, box trifecta 1,4,8,10, Daily Double 1st Leg 8, 2nd Leg 1. Gooloo Bucky put the writing on the wall first-up that a win was close at hand and sure enough he came back to Moruya two weeks later and won by nearly three lengths in that 1200m maiden. Bad alley this time but she has the confidence up. Teepee Princess is an American Pharoah out of a Savabeel, so with breeding like that, it only enhances her debut win over 1200m no less. Lady Revolution and Dame Annie have claims. Gorush Lightning finished an honourable third in quite a respectable Benchmark 66 here last start. That was his 80th career start and his 29th run at home here at Moruya. In that time, he has won six times and placed on 10 other occasions so he is very reliable really. His danger could come from within, that is his stablemate Peruno who has a lot of ticker and a better draw than his Michael Gatty-trained rival on Monday. is so, so consistent.
