Jamie Lee Curtis sends fans wild with ‘hot' new look

Jamie Lee Curtis has shocked fans with a low-cut look, as many claim they didn't realise she was a 'baddie'. The 66-year-old actress has been promoting her new movie Freakier Friday with Lindsay Lohan and appeared in a recent video from Disney, encouraging fans to watch the movie. In the TikTok video, the Hollywood star wore a cross-cut denim dress, which sat off her shoulder and showed off her ample assets. For younger fans, this was a surprising look from the actress, with many agreeing they had no idea that the star was so, ahem, busty. 'Where did THOSE come from,' said the top comment on the post from the drink Peach Four Loko. 'Have those always been there??,' asked okaymaddiee_. 'I was not familiar with your game before Jamie Lee Curtis,' said theaaronpaul. @disneystudios A special message from Jamie Lee Curtis 💜💚 Experience Freakier Friday now playing in theaters. 'Y'all she's always been hot 😩,' said _artemis_everson. 'Y'all have been sleeping on Ms. Jamie Lee Curtis??? She's ALWAYS been a stunner,' said acelestialmess. 'I don't think the younger generation knows that Jamie Lee Curtis has always been a baddie,' said skinsfanrob87. 'Some of y'all have not seen True Lies and it shows 🤣,' said bigtonypizzapie pointing to her famous 1994 movie. The new movie from Jamie Lee has been praised by fans who love the new take on the classic film. The film seesTess Coleman (Jamie Lee) and her daughter Anna (Lindsay Lohan) return to their roles from the 2003 film Freaky Friday and swap bodies with Anna's daughter and soon-to-be stepdaughter. The comedy is back at it's best with intergenerational humour and an A-list cast inclusing the return of NCIS's Mark Harmon and One Tree Hill's Chad Michael Murray, plus the addition of The Good Place's Manny Jacinto. The film comes as the actress has confessed that she is slowly retiring from Hollywood. 'I have been self-retiring for 30 years,' she told The Guardian. 'I have been prepping to get out, so that I don't have to suffer the same as my family did. I want to leave the party before I'm no longer invited.' The actress is the daughter of Psycho star Janet Leigh and Some Like it Hot's Tony Curtis, and reflected that watching 'the industry rejected them at a certain age' was very painful. Got a story? Jamie Lee Curtis TikTok video on Disney account sparks viral reaction and debate

Hollywood icon Jamie Lee Curtis has gone viral on TikTok after a video message she recorded for Disney's official account drew unexpected attention. @disneystudios A special message from Jamie Lee Curtis 💜💚 Experience Freakier Friday now playing in theaters. Get tickets. Link in bio. ♬ original sound - Disney Studios The 66-year-old actress appeared in a promotional clip for her new film Freakier Friday, a sequel to the 2003 hit Freaky Friday, co-starring Lindsay Lohan. The video was intended as a warm message to fans, coinciding with the film's global promotional push, but it quickly became a hot topic for another reason. Curtis, dressed in a low-cut denim top, surprised many younger TikTok users, who expressed shock at her bold look on the family-friendly platform. Comments ranged from 'Woah hey Jamie' to 'Why would Disney post that.' Others, however, were quick to point out that Curtis has long been recognized as a Hollywood screen siren, recalling her famous 1994 True Lies dance sequence. 'She's always been hot,' one user remarked, while another added, 'Some of y'all have never seen True Lies and it shows.' The viral moment comes as Curtis and Lindsay Lohan continue their international promotion of Freakier Friday. Earlier this month, the pair attended the Australian premiere in Sydney, reconnecting two decades after their first collaboration in the original film. According to box office reports, the sequel debuted with $29 million in the U.S. against a $42 million budget, and added $15.5 million overseas, bringing the global total to $44.5 million in its opening week. Reception has been largely positive, with Rotten Tomatoes showing a 93 percent audience score. Still, not all reactions have been favorable. TIME magazine questioned whether the sequel was necessary, prompting Curtis to push back on Instagram, writing: 'SEEMS a TAD HARSH. SOME people LOVE it. Me being one.' Just as with her viral TikTok clip, Curtis once again sparked conversation across generations.

'Freakier Friday' trailer: Lindsay Lohan, Jamie Lee Curtis reunite for body-swap adventure

Disney has officially released the first trailer for Freakier Friday, the sequel to the 2003 hit Freaky Friday, bringing back Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis for another round of body-swapping chaos. The film is set to hit theaters on August 8. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Walt Disney Studios (@disneystudios) The trailer sees Anna (Lohan) and Tess (Curtis) once again waking up in each other's bodies — but this time, the body-swapping curse extends beyond just mother and daughter. Now, Anna's own daughter (Julia Butters) and her soon-to-be stepdaughter (Sophia Hammons) also get caught up in the mix, resulting in a chaotic four-way identity crisis. The official logline for the film, as obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, reads, "Years after Tess and Anna endured an identity crisis, Anna now has a daughter and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might strike twice." Adding to the nostalgia, the trailer features Chad Michael Murray reprising his role as Jake, making a dramatic entrance on his motorcycle. Other returning cast members from the 2003 film include Mark Harmon, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky, and Rosalind Chao. They will be joined by new cast members Manny Jacinto and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan. Directed by Nisha Ganatra, the sequel was first teased at the D23 Expo, where Curtis and Lohan made an appearance to reveal the film's title. The project wrapped up filming in August 2024, and in November, Lohan delighted fans by confirming that her fictional band, Pink Slip, would return with new music. The original Freaky Friday was a remake of the 1976 classic starring Jodie Foster and Barbara Harris.

Watch the Trailer For Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis's 'Freaky Friday' Sequel

Following Disney's announcement last June that a Freaky Friday sequel was in the works, fans have been waiting with baited breath for any news of the film and its two co-stars, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan. Today, the wait is finally over: the trailer for the sequel, officially titled Freakier Friday, has finally arrived. And, according to a press release from Disney, it features a "multigenerational twist." The short preview gives plenty of hints as to what has happened to Tess Coleman (Curtis) and her daughter Anna (Lohan) in the 22 years since the original film's release in 2002. Joining them as co-stars are Julia Butters, who plays Anna's daughter, and Sophia Hammons, who plays her soon-to-be stepdaughter. Fans will be happy to hear that early aughts heartthrob Chad Michael Murray is also reprising his role as Jake. "The story picks up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identity crisis," Disney said. "Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice." Freakier Friday wrapped production in August, as confirmed by Lohan on Instagram. "That's a wrap on FREAKIER FRIDAY!" she wrote in her caption. "Thank you to the amazing Cast, Crew, producers and everyone @disneystudios who put so much love and effort into making this movie! Can't wait to share it with you all!" In the 22 years since the original film's release, Freaky Friday has gained iconic status as a beloved movie emblematic of the early aughts. While Curtis most recently earned acclaim for her roles in The Bear and Everything Everywhere All at Once, Lohan found success with Netflix on films like Falling for Christmas and Irish Wish. Freakier Friday will make its theatrical debut on August 8, 2025. It's the first time the two actresses will have shared the screen since 2002. Read the original article on InStyle
