Jamie Lee Curtis sends fans wild with ‘hot' new look

Metroa day ago
Jamie Lee Curtis has shocked fans with a low-cut look, as many claim they didn't realise she was a 'baddie'.
The 66-year-old actress has been promoting her new movie Freakier Friday with Lindsay Lohan and appeared in a recent video from Disney, encouraging fans to watch the movie.
In the TikTok video, the Hollywood star wore a cross-cut denim dress, which sat off her shoulder and showed off her ample assets.
For younger fans, this was a surprising look from the actress, with many agreeing they had no idea that the star was so, ahem, busty.
'Where did THOSE come from,' said the top comment on the post from the drink Peach Four Loko.
'Have those always been there??,' asked okaymaddiee_.
'I was not familiar with your game before Jamie Lee Curtis,' said theaaronpaul.

Other fans were incredulous, asking commenters how they had no idea that Jamie Lee has always been a hottie with a fantastic figure.
'Y'all she's always been hot 😩,' said _artemis_everson.
'Y'all have been sleeping on Ms. Jamie Lee Curtis??? She's ALWAYS been a stunner,' said acelestialmess.
'I don't think the younger generation knows that Jamie Lee Curtis has always been a baddie,' said skinsfanrob87.
'Some of y'all have not seen True Lies and it shows 🤣,' said bigtonypizzapie pointing to her famous 1994 movie.
The new movie from Jamie Lee has been praised by fans who love the new take on the classic film.
The film seesTess Coleman (Jamie Lee) and her daughter Anna (Lindsay Lohan) return to their roles from the 2003 film Freaky Friday and swap bodies with Anna's daughter and soon-to-be stepdaughter.
The comedy is back at it's best with intergenerational humour and an A-list cast inclusing the return of NCIS's Mark Harmon and One Tree Hill's Chad Michael Murray, plus the addition of The Good Place's Manny Jacinto.
The film comes as the actress has confessed that she is slowly retiring from Hollywood.
'I have been self-retiring for 30 years,' she told The Guardian.
'I have been prepping to get out, so that I don't have to suffer the same as my family did. I want to leave the party before I'm no longer invited.'
The actress is the daughter of Psycho star Janet Leigh and Some Like it Hot's Tony Curtis, and reflected that watching 'the industry rejected them at a certain age' was very painful.

Mum easily saves herself £400 by DIY-ing the perfect baby wardrobe using £60 B&Q basic buy

DI-WOW She's even got a plan to make the wardrobe work when her daughter is older too A MUM has shown how she saved herself a whopping £400 by turning a basic £60 buy into a gorgeous baby wardrobe. Nikole, who welcomed a baby girl into the world four months ago, admitted she'd been looking at different wardrobe options for the tot, but didn't want to spend loads. 4 4 4 So, she came up with a clever way to use an B&Q unit instead. "Turn this Kallax unit into a wardrobe for my four-month-old with me," Nikole wrote over the top of a picture on TikTok. She then shared a snap of the inspiration, as well as the final product. In another video, she detailed how she completed the transformation step by step. She began by taking out the centre sections of the top two shelves, before replacing it with a curtain pole. She then used some drawers, also from B&Q, to put in the third shelf down, before using fabric containers to go in the bottom two sections. Nikole finished off the transformation by adding some plastic baskets for extra storage at the bottom of the top part, which she got from TikTok Shop. "They're actually quite handy because you can stack them on top of each other but I think it all matches," she added. "It makes it all look really girly and I love it!" Nikole concluded by saying she's "very happy" with how it turned out, and is "obsessed" with the finished look. 'I can't wait for my kids to move out in September – I'm celebrating getting my life back with £2,000 party' "Swear I'd never seen anyone do this before and I did this for my little boy a few months back!" one person commented on the TikTok. "Now we've all had the same idea! Great minds think alike!" "It's such a quick and easy way at to add a little bit of extra storage," Nikole replied. "You literally saved my storage problem!" another praised. "I did this when my son was born, best thing I ever did," a third exclaimed. "So creative, love it!" someone else said. "That;s actually a really good idea!" another wrote. While someone else praised Nikole's "amazing work", another called it "so smart". "Dammit I got rid of ours! Wish I thought of this!" someone else sighed. However, there was another mum who said that while the wardrobe works "brilliantly for when they are tiny", it's harder as they get older, as the "clothes got bigger and it just didn't work". But Nikole had thought of that too, as she replied: "When she gets bigger I'm planning to remove the pink boxes, move the drawers down and make the wardrobe part longer to get more use out of it." 4

Friends fans spot 'new' mistake in series 26 years later but some say there's valid reason

Friends fans have spotted 'new' mistakes in various episodes of the well-loved TV show - but people say there's a technical explanation for it and it only adds to the charm Friends fans have spotted a 'production mistake' 26 years after its sixth season premiered to its loyal audience. The cult classic, starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, has been a firm favourite for three decades. ‌ But it seems some fans are only just spotting mistakes made in its production all these years later - but some viewers argue there's a "valid" reason for it. In a TikTok video, user @ pointed out how you can see a cameraman during a scene in season six, episode 13, when Matthew Perry, who plays Chandler Bing, and Courteney Cox, who portrays Monica Geller, are sitting on a sofa in her apartment. ‌ The cameraman is seen standing behind the actors in the kitchen capturing the friendship group in conversation in the sitting room. ‌ But this isn't the only time a member of the production team has been caught n camera in the series as another viewer claims one is visible in season six, episode seven too. Explaining why it has taken so many fans so long to notice this mistake, one user commented: "It's because aspect ratios on TVs have changed. On an old SRT 4:3 ratio, you wouldn't see him. But on a 16:9 you do." Another user added: "In S6 E7 when Chandler was cleaning the apartment. I also noticed the camera, when Chandler ran to the coffee table to move them. 10:28." A third user said: "In one of the holiday episodes there's a shot where you can see the stage and not the set." Another user added: "Friends is my favourite show but I've watched so many times I spot so mistakes like shadows and door." ‌ One more user said: "There is also a fault in the episode where the Gellers celebrate their wedding anniversary, after Jack stops talking, they swap to his body double!" It comes after fans noticed something unusual about Rachel, played by Jennifer Aniston, in season nine, episode four. For a few seconds in The One with the Sharks, Rachel is briefly replaced mid-scene by someone else. ‌ About 12 minutes and 20 seconds into the episode, Monica and Rachel are in Monica's apartment, talking about unusual fetishes their previous partners have had. Joey, portrayed by Matt LeBlanc, then enters and heads towards them, explaining that he thinks he has slept with his date before - but she doesn't remember him. The three sit down at the kitchen table to continue the conversation and at this point, Rachel can be clearly seen with curly hair and wearing a yellow top. As the camera moves to focus on Monica, eagle-eyed viewers might notice that a different woman is next to her in the bottom left side of the screen, with straight hair and a dark blue top. But if you blink, you'll miss it as a few seconds later, the camera changes to focus on Rachel and the stand-in is no where to be seen.

'I ate at McDonald's in Japan and biggest surprise wasn't menu differences'

A British tourist decided to eat at McDonald's while visiting Japan, and while she was blown away by all the differences on the menu, the biggest surprise to her was something else entirely A tourist who visited a McDonald's restaurant in Japan was left gobsmacked by the differences to the ones in the UK. The fast food giant operates in over 100 countries, with over 38,000 locations. In each country they have subtle differences to reflect different tastes and local traditions, but in Japan it wasn't the menu that was the biggest surprise to the tourist. ‌ Travel content creator Jessica Jayne Turner has recently been sharing unique insights into her trip to Japan. In one of her recent TikTok clips, Jessica shared what is was like to eat at the fast food chain in Tokyo, Japan, which she said was on a completely "different level". Taking a look at the self service machine, she showed there were quite a few items she'd never seen before. These included the Bai Shrimp File-O, Bai Teriyaki Chicken Filet-O and a Cheese and Bacon Potato Pie. ‌ Maccies fans can also order Edamame & Corn as a side, as well as Shaka-Chicki and Garlic & Cheese Sauce. Jessica decided to try some of the "unique" things, and her order came to about £14.42. ‌ First she tried the Edamame & Corn, which she was surprised to see on the menu as it seems "healthy". "It actually tastes pretty good but it just feels so strange to eat it at McDonald's. [I'm] not actually sure how I feel about it," Jessica continued. Next, Jessica tried the Shaka Chicken which she said was "basically like a giant chicken nugget". She explained that they give you a sachet of Cheddar Cheese to sprinkle over it, and then you shake it. "It basically turns into a cheesy chicken nugget. It's nice and crispy but I'm going to be honest, the cheese does taste a bit artificial." Jessica said the barbecue sauce was "amazing" and the mustard sauce "tasted great". Then, she tried the Cheese and Bacon Potato Pie, which she said looks similar to the Apple Pies in the UK. "The inside of this tastes identical to a chicken pie. I love the flavour. This is probably one of my favourite things that I got," she added. The content creator also got some standard chicken nuggets, which she admitted tasted similar to the UK, but she "loved" the sauces you could get with them - barbecue and mustard sauce. After also eating some of a Big Mac, which she ordered in case she didn't like the other things she ordered, Jessica finished the meal off with a McFlurry. The one she ordered was "smothered" in strawberries and chocolate, and they didn't "skimp on the toppings". Jessica also admitted that it wasn't the menu that surprised her most about the McDonald's restaurants in Japan - was "how clean" the restaurants were. "The kitchen actually looks spotless," she added. And Jessica isn't the only one to notice this. Posting to the Destination Japan Facebook group, one tourist said: "What stood out even more to me was their attention to hygiene. While I obviously don't know what happens behind the scenes in the kitchen, the way they handle food and maintain cleanliness during serving is very noticeable. Everything from the counters to the packaging felt clean and well-managed, which make the overall experience even better."
