Kyle Snyder pleads guilty to disorderly conduct, fined after arrest in prostitution sting

Kyle Snyder plead guilty to disorderly conduct in court on Monday in Columbus, Ohio to close out his case after he was arrested during a prostitution sting led by police. The 29-year-old alum of The Ohio State University was one of 16 men arrested after police placed an escort ad online with Snyder responding by call and text before arriving at a local Quality Inn and Suites where he propositioned an undercover officer to pay for oral sex. As a result, Snyder was originally charged with engaging in prostitution but in court on Monday, he plead guilty to a lesser misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct. Judge Cynthia Ebner accepted his plea after Snyder took responsibility for his actions and also attended a 'John school' — an educational course for those arrested on prostitution charges. 'I've learned a lot through this process,' Snyder said in court while appearing over the phone. 'It taught me a lot about myself and I plan on making much better decisions. 'The John school was really good, it's a great course and I learned about why I made the decision that I did was because I had too much pride and I learned about the impact that these decisions have on not just my family but the community but it was a very impactful course.' Snyder's attorney Eric Hoffman also made a statement in court saying that the decorated wrestler was very sorry for his actions and called the incident a 'lapse in judgment.' In the end, Snyder was fined $250 along with court costs after pleading guilty to disorderly conduct. Snyder, a three-time Olympian with gold and silver medals on his resume, is one of the most accomplished wrestlers in American history. In 2016, he was the youngest American wrestler to ever capture a gold medal and he's also a three-time NCAA champion after representing Ohio State. Paddy Pimblett issues chilling warning to huge UFC rival with brutal message

Paddy Pimblett has reignited his feud with Ilia Topuria after firing a brutal verbal jab at the former featherweight champion. The duo have traded barbs on numerous occasions over recent years, and despite a slight moment of mutual respect at UFC London in March, the rivalry remains intense. Since joining the UFC ranks, Pimblett has maintained an unbeaten streak and is regarded as one of the promotion's top stars. With victories against the likes of Tony Ferguson and King Green, 'The Baddy' claimed his most significant triumph to date last month, with a savage knockout of ex-Bellator lightweight king Michael Chandler. The Scouser recently took a dig at Topuria, dismissing him as 'irrelevant' in the race for the lightweight crown. Topuria's step up to 155lb to battle Charles Oliveira for the vacant title was recently confirmed, setting the stage for a mouthwatering clash at UFC 317 during International Fight Week in Vegas. If 'El Matador' secures the two-division champion status, he might opt to defend his title against Pimblett first. Should the dust-up happen, Pimblett plans on brutally finishing his long-time rival. In a recent post to Instagram, the British star posted a photo of him kicking Chandler in the head along with a chilling messaged aimed at Topuria. 'Can't wait to land one of these on el chorizo,' Pimblett posted. Topuria has yet to reply to the recent comments. Pimblett previously accused Topuria of being 'hand-fed' opponents by the UFC, stating: "He has done a lot in the sport, but I do still think he's been hand-fed opponents," and elaborated on his views about Topuria's past fights. "[Max] Holloway had just been fighting at 155 [pounds], had a war with [Justin] Gaethje. Volk [Alexander Volkanovski] had just been knocked out like two months earlier. Josh Emmett was like 37. Bryce [Mitchell], as much as I love Bryce, we know he's not a striker. Every fight he had before the title, Michael Chandler beats every single one of them. I reckon Bobby Green beats every single one of them." Regarding his future, the Liverpudlian is eyeing a clash with Justin Gaethje in October to earn a shot at the UFC lightweight title. "I know for a fact if I beat Gaethje, I'm next in line. Definitely. It could be (the next fight)," Pimblett told TNT Sports. "It's just if he says yeah or not. Because he's fighting down the rankings again. Abu Dhabi. October. That pay-per-view. That's when I want to fight. That's what I'll be gearing towards. After what I've done to (Michael) Chandler, I think I finish Justin Gaethje... Yeah, that'd be nice [to fight Gaethje]. 'But I was thinking about it the other day: It's probably better if Ilia wins the belt, because he'll probably call me out and then I could just fight him. Maybe I wouldn't even fight Gaethje, [and I could] just fight Topuria... It'd be far better for my career if Ilia wins because I'd, more than likely, be his first title defence.'

PFL 2025 World Tournament 1 Results: Winners And Losers

The 2025 PFL World Tournament 1 fight card takes place tonight, Thursday, April 3, at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. The Professional Fight League event features the opening round matchups in the welterweight and featherweight divisions. The headlining contest sees former Bellator welterweight world champ Jason Jackson facing off against Andrey Koreshkov, who is also an ex-Bellator 170-pound champion. Also on the card, 2021 PFL featherweight tournament winner Movlid Khaybulaev faces former Bellator featherweight title challenger Jeremy Kennedy. Below, we will have the 2025 PFL World Tournament 1 fight card results, reactions, winner and losers, video highlights, and more as they happen on fight night. The 2025 PFL tournament is different from past events. The previous iterations awarded the winner of each weight division with $1 million. This year, the tournament winners will earn $500,000. Another difference in 2025 is that the tournament is structured as a single-elimination bracketed event. In the past, fighters earned points in two regular-season bouts, with the highest point earners moving onto the playoffs. This year, eight fighters (and two alternates) have been seeded in a tournament bracket, with the winners moving on to the next round. Another change is that eight weight divisions are competing rather than six: heavyweight, light heavyweight, middleweight, welterweight, lightweight, featherweight bantamweight, and women's flyweight. One of the more substantial changes is that all fights will now allow elbows. The first-round fights and semifinal fights will be three five-minute rounds, while the finals are five five-minute rounds. PFL World Championship 2024 Fight Card Results - Winners And Losers Magomed Umalatov, who was one of the betting favorites to win the welterweight tournament is out of the competition after he missed weight on Wednesday. Umalatov, who was a -330 betting favorite to beat Logan Storley in their opening round matchup, weighed in at 173.6 pounds for the welterweight bout. As a result, Joseph Luciano will face Storley in tonight's action. Umalatov was a finalist in last year's PFL welterweight tournament. He lost to Shamil Musaev in that matchup. Musaev knocked out Umalatov in the third round of that scrap. Welterweight First Round Bout: Jason Jackson vs. Andrey Koreshkov Featherweight First Round Bout: Jesus Pinedo vs. Adam Borics Welterweight First Round Bout: Joseph Luciano vs. Logan Storley Featherweight First Round Bout: Jeremy Kennedy vs. Movlid Khaybulaev Welterweight First Round Bout: Mukhamed Berkhamov vs. Thad Jean Featherweight First Round Bout: Gabriel Braga vs. Fred Dupras Welterweight First Round Bout: Giannis Bachar vs. Masayuki Kikuiri Featherweight First Round Bout: Nathan Kelly vs. Taekyun Kim Thursday, April 3, 2025 Prelims: 8:00 p.m. ET Main Card: 10:00 p.m. ET Universal Studio in Orlando, Florida Prelims: ESPN+ Main Card: ESPN2 and ESPN+ PFL 2025 World Tournament Full Schedule We will have everything you need to know about the 2025 PFL World Championship 1 fight card live on Thursday night, including results, reactions, winners and losers, video highlights and more.
