Conor McGregor responds after being seen kissing mystery woman
Conor McGregor has broken his social media silence following explosive snaps of him getting cosy with a mystery woman in Florida.
The former two-weight UFC champion was caught on camera enjoying himself at a Fort Lauderdale beach on Sunday, where he was spotted jet skiing before cuddling up to an unknown dark-haired woman - who was not his long-term partner Dee Devlin.
The 37-year-old was photographed laying out a towel for the mystery lady before wrapping his arm around her shoulders, with The Sun reporting the 'Notorious' appeared to relish the attention from female admirers nearby. The explosive images quickly went viral across social media and McGregor has now broken his silence.
In a post uploaded to social media, the UFC legend opted AGAINST addressing the incident and instead wished himself a happy birthday. Taking X - formerly known as Twitter - he wrote: "Happy birthday to me," reports All Out Fighting.
McGregor celebrated turning 37 on Monday amid the fresh scandal, though his long-standing fiancee Dee appears to be standing by her man despite the compromising photographs. Devlin and McGregor, who have been engaged since 2020, are proud parents to four children.
The couple first crossed paths as teenagers in a nightclub, and Devlin has been a constant support throughout McGregor's MMA career. Following McGregor's recent controversy, his fiancee shared a fan account's birthday message on social media that said: "Happy Birthday to the person who always keeps Dee entertained and makes her smile." She then posted a series of photos of herself with McGregor.
Last year, four years into their engagement, McGregor opened up about their wedding plans, expressing his eagerness to tie the knot with Devlin. He said: "My lady is my long-time lady," and continued, "We are set to get married soon, we are just trying to find a location. I am ready to go; we are just trying to get a location."
"Is it at home? I'd like for it to be at home. We are deciding on a location. Hopefully, we get the marriage done, and that is what I'm looking forward to. These are the decisions we have. I go between do we want an extreme and extravagant. It will be extravagant and I will spare no cost for sure for my lady and my family but is it invite everyone or is it private, these are the things we are trying to figure out. We are private people but we wouldn't like to do it and think we should have done it a bit bigger. So we are in decision mode at moment, but let's see, things are good. But that's my lady all the way, the highs or lows before all of this."
When is Conor McGregor's next fight?
McGregor has been out of action since his defeat to Dustin Poirier in 2021. His anticipated bout with ex-Bellator champ Michael Chandler last year was scrapped due to an injury he sustained while training. The Irish fighter's last victory inside the octagon was against Donald Cerrone at welterweight in 2020. Despite a lengthy hiatus, the 37-year-old has now declared that he plans to make a return to the UFC at their White House event next year.
Many fans had lost faith in McGregor's return to mixed martial arts, but the Dubliner has hinted at yet another comeback. At a press conference for a Bare Knuckle FC event, where McGregor holds co-ownership, he dropped a bombshell announcement. He stated: "It's looking like I'm headed to the Oval Office again. That's where I'm headed next." The crowd responded to his revelation with enthusiastic applause.

Amanda Holden's lookalike daughter Lexi goes public with boyfriend in steamy snaps – as BGT host shares her thoughts
AMANDA Holden's teenager daughter Lexi Hughes did not hold back when going Instagram official with her boyfriend. Lexi, 19, is currently on holiday with her famous mum and new man in Greece, and shared photos of the loved-up pair enjoying a snog on a luxury boat. 4 The model and content creator wore a yellow bikini as she lay back on the bow of the boat and her unnamed boyfriend leaned over her to kiss her. "Vitamin D and a little PDA," Lexi captioned the Instagram post. She was inundated with comments, including from Britain's Got Talent judge mum, who posted a love-heart eye emoji in reply to the photo. Another person commented: "oh get it get it." "HELLO," added another. Before their trip, Lexi and Amanda, 54, were recently spotted in Wimbledon looking glamourous while watching the tennis on Centre Court. The Britain's Got Talent judge put on a stunning display in a yellow sleeveless dress and giant sunglasses. Lexi wore a white crop top and pinstripe trousers, accessorising with mirrored shades. While Lexi is often compared to her TV mum, Amanda revealed that her oldest daughter finds it embarrassing when people compare them. 'I think they find it a bit embarrassing,' Amanda told The Sun's Fabulous magazine in April. Amanda beams with joy as Lexi finishes school 'Lexi said that there are a lot of people at uni who make cheeky comments, which I find very flattering. 'Hollie doesn't really give a damn. But I do have to walk behind her. She doesn't want anyone to know I'm her mother!' Amanda also admitted to struggling with the fact Lexi has flown the nest and is now at university. 'I miss her like crazy and it's really weird sitting down to a family meal with just the three of us. The house does feel a bit empty, so I'm just gradually filling it up with more pets," Amanda said. "We've recently rescued a dog from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and I'm planning to rescue another one in September. We've also got a cat and another dog.' Amanda is realistic about her daughters getting older and is proud of how Lexi, who also works as a model for the agency Storm, has embraced her next chapter. 'I do miss her but, at the same time, it's really nice seeing her become a little bit more independent,' she explains. 'She's all loved-up. She's got good friends and I like her strong morals.' 4

Fans confused over Vanessa Kirby stroking co-star Pedro Pascal's face on press tour asking ‘why are they so touchy?'
FANTASTIC Four's Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby have left fans confused over their close friendship – though the reason behind it is actually quite sweet. Videos of the pair's tactile relationship, often cuddling up to each other, holding hands and Vanessa even stroking Pedro's neck, has started circulating online causing debate on X (formerly Twitter). 6 6 6 Vanessa and Pedro play married couple Reed Richards and Sue Storm – aka Mr Fantastic and the Invisible Woman – in the new addition to the Marvel universe. And their friendship clearly extends outside the show, with the duo being seen showing each other support on tour. However, some fans have taken exception to their affectionate friendship, complaining it is "weird". Vanessa has noticeably become a particular source of support for Pedro, starting back at San Diego Comic-Con last year when they took to the stage alongside co-stars Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. A nervous-looking Pedro grabbed Vanessa's arm as he appeared on stage behind her, and in response she grabbed his hand and held it. Speaking with Vanity Fair in June this year, Kirby praised her co-star explaining they were both as nervous as each other and their affection is a sign of unity. She said: "What happened is we were both incredibly nervous going out in front of thousands of people who love this comic. 'He wanted me to know that we were in this together, and I found it a lovely gesture and was very glad to squeeze his hand back.' This is something the pair have been doing in the months since, especially as they've been sent around the world to promote the movie. Often paired up on the press tour due to their characters' relationship, Vanessa has been seen soothing Pedro with hugs and physical affection. He has also been seen resting a hand on Vanessa's pregnant belly on red carpets, following news she is expecting her first child with her partner, American lacrosse player Paul Rabil. Pedro has previously stated that touch helps soothe him when he suffers from anxiety – even notably doing it to himself while on the red carpet alone, creating a unique pose by standing with his hand on his chest. During a screening event of his Sky/HBO series The Last of Us in 2023, Pedro told co-star Bella Ramsey during an interview with Deadline: "You know why? It's because my anxiety is right here." In response, Bella posed on the carpet with him in the same manner. 6 6 6
