Conor McGregor responds after being seen kissing mystery woman

McGregor has taken to social media for the first time since he was pictured getting close to a mystery woman in Florida - but the UFC legend didn't address the incident
Conor McGregor has broken his social media silence following explosive snaps of him getting cosy with a mystery woman in Florida.
The former two-weight UFC champion was caught on camera enjoying himself at a Fort Lauderdale beach on Sunday, where he was spotted jet skiing before cuddling up to an unknown dark-haired woman - who was not his long-term partner Dee Devlin.

The 37-year-old was photographed laying out a towel for the mystery lady before wrapping his arm around her shoulders, with The Sun reporting the 'Notorious' appeared to relish the attention from female admirers nearby. The explosive images quickly went viral across social media and McGregor has now broken his silence.

In a post uploaded to social media, the UFC legend opted AGAINST addressing the incident and instead wished himself a happy birthday. Taking X - formerly known as Twitter - he wrote: "Happy birthday to me," reports All Out Fighting.
McGregor celebrated turning 37 on Monday amid the fresh scandal, though his long-standing fiancee Dee appears to be standing by her man despite the compromising photographs. Devlin and McGregor, who have been engaged since 2020, are proud parents to four children.
The couple first crossed paths as teenagers in a nightclub, and Devlin has been a constant support throughout McGregor's MMA career. Following McGregor's recent controversy, his fiancee shared a fan account's birthday message on social media that said: "Happy Birthday to the person who always keeps Dee entertained and makes her smile." She then posted a series of photos of herself with McGregor.

Last year, four years into their engagement, McGregor opened up about their wedding plans, expressing his eagerness to tie the knot with Devlin. He said: "My lady is my long-time lady," and continued, "We are set to get married soon, we are just trying to find a location. I am ready to go; we are just trying to get a location."
"Is it at home? I'd like for it to be at home. We are deciding on a location. Hopefully, we get the marriage done, and that is what I'm looking forward to. These are the decisions we have. I go between do we want an extreme and extravagant. It will be extravagant and I will spare no cost for sure for my lady and my family but is it invite everyone or is it private, these are the things we are trying to figure out. We are private people but we wouldn't like to do it and think we should have done it a bit bigger. So we are in decision mode at moment, but let's see, things are good. But that's my lady all the way, the highs or lows before all of this."
When is Conor McGregor's next fight?
McGregor has been out of action since his defeat to Dustin Poirier in 2021. His anticipated bout with ex-Bellator champ Michael Chandler last year was scrapped due to an injury he sustained while training. The Irish fighter's last victory inside the octagon was against Donald Cerrone at welterweight in 2020. Despite a lengthy hiatus, the 37-year-old has now declared that he plans to make a return to the UFC at their White House event next year.
Many fans had lost faith in McGregor's return to mixed martial arts, but the Dubliner has hinted at yet another comeback. At a press conference for a Bare Knuckle FC event, where McGregor holds co-ownership, he dropped a bombshell announcement. He stated: "It's looking like I'm headed to the Oval Office again. That's where I'm headed next." The crowd responded to his revelation with enthusiastic applause.

Taylor Swift's new music video so secretive that 'even crew couldn't hear song'

Pop icon Taylor Swift could be ready to release new music but is said to have kept it so under wraps that even crew weren't able to listen to it while filming the video Taylor Swift is set to release new music for her adoring fans, but it's so under wraps the star is said to have filmed a music video in secret. The private filming was reportedly so secretive that even the crew weren't able to hear the full track. ‌ The music will mark the 35-year-old star's first new music since dropping The Tortured Poets Department over a year ago. And now it's said the project was completed on the West Coast. ‌ A source claimed: "Taylor was in Los Angeles on Thursday filming a new music video." They added the secrecy of the whole thing was evident. ‌ Speaking to the Sun, they added: "It was so top secret that those working on set were not even allowed to hear the song, only the beat. "Even though she's been taking time off from touring and working a lot to spend time with Travis, there are still projects she's working on, which will no doubt please fans." ‌ And the speculation went down well with fans online going wild. Flocking to social media to let their feelings be heard, one Twitter /X user excitedly questioned: "OMGGG WE ARE GETTING THAT ALBUM BY AUGUST???????" Another added: "Excited for this! The secrecy around the beat-only shoot in LA has me hyped-Taylor's genius at building anticipation never fails!" And a third simply said the "queen of pop is back". Earlier this month, Taylor sparked engagement rumours too after fans spotted her man's phone's lock screen. Travis Kelce's device left Swifties convinced that she's engaged to the NFL star. It comes after he shared huge selection of photos on his Instagram account. ‌ One in particular catching the eye of excited fans seemingly marked a massive milestone in their relationship so far. In the image, Taylor looks to be showing off her ring finger. It left fans speculating that the loved-up couple are engaged, though neither has made any official confirmation. The image showed the duo cosying up side by side, and the lock screen image shows Taylor Swift flaunting her ring finger. ‌ Taking to social media, one user commented on the post: "Travis's lockscreen - is she pointing at her hand like she is… engaged?" Another added: "Is it an engagement photo," while other excited fans exclaimed that they "zoomed in to the lock screen" to try and see for sure. People are waiting in anticipation for the pair to declare an engagement with one source telling the Mail Online earlier this year that "everyone is just waiting for Travis to ask her (Taylor Swift's) parents for her hand in marriage, her parents will say yes." They have been together since 2023. The couple have been reasonably happy to talk about their romance in the years that followed. Taylor has also declared her love to Travis while on stage and collecting awards.

Martin Brundle in Ozzy Osbourne tribute at Belgian GP – 'My favourite grid walk guest'

Ozzy Osbourne made a memorable appearance on Martin Brundle's Formula 1 grid walk more than 20 years ago and the Sky Sports favourite paid tribute to the rocker on Sunday Martin Brundle began his grid walk at the Belgian Grand Prix with a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. The rock legend died last week, aged 76, less than three weeks after his farewell concert with his band Black Sabbath in Birmingham. ‌ Osbourne was loved by millions worldwide and also captured the hearts of Formula 1 fans many years ago with a memorable appearance on one of Brundle's pre-race grid walks. The broadcaster usually spends some time walking up and down the grid before a Grand Prix to speak with famous faces. ‌ A particularly memorable walk happened when Osbourne was a VIP guest at the 2003 Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal. Many reporters tried to speak with him but Brundle, working for ITV at the time, managed to get to the front of the queue – not that he could get much sense out of the rocker. ‌ And he had to cut the interview short when Osbourne swore unexpectedly, in an exchange which Brundle later reflected upon. The Brit said: "He wasn't fully with it, shall we say. I asked him a question and he gave me a very long, incomprehensible answer. "I said to him, 'I'll try and think of a question to that, but in the meantime how are the dogs?' And he said, 'They are at home s****** on the carpets.' It went out live to millions of people and I got in trouble because I was supposed to have known he would swear if I asked that question." That memorable moment resurfaced on social media in the days after Osbourne's death last week. And Brundle took the opportunity to say a few words about the departed music legend as he began his grid walk ahead of Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix at a rain-soaked Circuit Spa-Francorchamps. Speaking live on Sky Sports, the broadcaster said: "A quick word for probably my most favourite ever grid walk guest: Ozzy Osbourne. Condolences to your family and friends, we will miss you. Rest in peace I don't think quite fits for Ozzy Osbourne." ‌ While Osbourne may have landed Brundle in a bit of bother with his loose language, he did at least engage with the broadcaster, who has branded his grid walks in general as "car crash television". While many stars are happy to converse with the ex-F1 driver on the grid, some have notoriously snubbed him. Earlier this year, he told the Daily Mail: "The grid walk actually really annoys me because that's what I'm known for now. The whole thing is still a mystery. I won a lot of races as a driver and was on the F1 podium. I was World Sportscar Champion, winner at Le Mans, beat Ayrton Senna a lot of times in F3. "I was a reasonably handy racing driver and I'm a reasonably handy commentator but all I'm going to be remembered for is getting ignored on the grid by the Megan Thee Stallion and other people I'd never heard of until that moment. It's quite a funny thing but I can't knock it, heading towards 66, I'm lucky to still be in live sport and that's why I was pleased with the OBE because it wasn't an OBE just for grid-walking."

Phoebe Waller-Bridge's British comedy-drama Fleabag marked its nine-year anniversary this week TV fans have celebrated as the "greatest show ever created" marked its nine-year anniversary this week. ‌ Groundbreaking BBC drama Fleabag was created and written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and centred around a free-spirited woman living in London. ‌ The series started as a one-woman show at Edinburgh Fringe Festival before transferring to the small screen in 2016. A second season followed in 2019. ‌ The fourth-wall-breaking show stars Phoebe as the titular character, who had no filter as she navigated life and love in the capital while trying to cope with tragedy. "The angry, grief-riddled woman tries to heal while rejecting anyone who tries to help her, but Fleabag continues to keep up her bravado through it all," the synopsis adds. Throughout the series, viewers were introduced to a number of eccentric characters, including Fleabag's stepmother Matrigna (Olivia Colman) and her forbidden love, the Hot Priest (Andrew Scott). The cast also included Sian Clifford, Hugh Skinner, Jenny Rainsford, Bill Paterson and Brett Gelman. Shortly after its premiere, the show received critical acclaim, with many reviewers branding it "one the greatest television series of all time". ‌ TV fans also fell in love with the series, with one person writing on IMDb: "I don't remember when I last laughed so much at a series. I was hooked from the first episode. This series is perfect." Another added: "I cannot say enough about how incredible this show is. I absolutely love it. I don't think I've ever watched anything more perfect. Phoebe is an incredible actress, writer, and creator. I desperately wish there could have been more seasons." ‌ A third said: "It's the best I have ever seen. It's magic. The characters, the performances, the editing all a masterpiece. It's so intense yet so fresh," with another similarly sharing: "It was SO well done. Everyone involved should be so proud." A fifth fan echoed the sentiment, saying: "I truly believe this is the best British comedy since Peep show and thoroughly enjoyed it in its entirety. Couldn't recommend this show more." As well as positive reviews, Fleabag also received several prestigious awards. ‌ Phoebe won a BAFTA for Best Female Comedy Performance for the first series, with the second series earning her Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actress and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series. As Fleabag celebrated its nine-year anniversary earlier this week, several fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to pay tribute to the beloved series. If you haven't seen Fleabag yet, why not let this milestone be your sign to add it to your list. You definitely won't regret it.
