Dundee's Aaron Donnelly earns summer international call up
Dundee defender Aaron Donnelly will join the Northern Ireland squad for a summer double-header after being called up by Michael O'Neill. The 21-year-old is hoping to add to his debut cap when O'Neill's side face friendlies against Iceland and Denmark. Donnelly joined the Dark Blues on a three-year deal in January after impressing on loan last season and is expected to have a big future at Dens Park. His aim of having a big international future has been boosted by another call-up for Northern Ireland as they prepare for World Cup qualifying in September. A former captain of the U/21 side, Donnelly made his senior debut in a friendly against Andorra last June. He will join up with the 26-man squad on June 3 before heading to Copenhagen to face Denmark on June 7. They then head back to Northern Ireland for a home clash with Iceland at Windsor Park on June 10. Also in the squad is former St Johnstone midfielder Ali McCann and ex-Dee goalie Conor Hazard.

The Dokens put past East Craigie at North End Park to clinch two in a row on the final day of the East Region Midlands League season, finishing two points clear of Broughty Athletic.
