The Voice Is Bringing Back Four Season 27 Contestants: Who Do You Think They Should Be?
The Voice Is Bringing Back Four Season 27 Contestants: Who Do You Think They Should Be?
In the final moments of Monday's episode of The Voice — the conclusion of Season 27's Playoffs — six more artists were eliminated. Only maybe they weren't, not really.
Host Carson Daly revealed to coaches John Legend, Adam Levine, Kelsea Ballerini and Michael Bublé that they were being allowed to offer Super Saves to four cut contestants and bring them back for the NBC sing-off's Lives (which kick off Monday, May 12, at 8/7c). Now, of course, the question is: Which vocalists should be given those coveted reprieves?
More from TVLine
Kelsea's choice oughta be easy peasy. She's got to bring back Jaelen Johnston, whom she never should have dropped in the first place. Not only was the fan favorite her only country artist, but he'd slayed in the Playoffs. Moving on…

Michael's decision shouldn't be too hard to make, either. After the showstopper of a performance that Divighn gave in the Knockouts, he should be ushered not just back into the competition but straight on through to the finale.
As for John… hmm. Whom he'll pick is a real question mark. Ari Camille and Olivia Kuper Harris both did well in the Playoffs, but in my heart of hearts, I'm hoping he'll go back further and give another chance to Nell Simmons, who got the chop in the KOs.
Adam arguably faces the most difficult choice. Ethan Eckenroad is a true artist, he just has no stage presence. Britton Moore could develop into the next Shawn Mendes. But — and I'm sure there's no way this will happen — Adam should go back and unmake the mistake that he made sending Fran Posla home after her amazing performance in the Playoffs.
Who do you think the coaches will bring back? And who are you hoping they'll bring back? Sound off in the comments below.

Judge Warns Diddy He Could Be Kicked Out Of Court For His 'Absolutely Unacceptable' Behavior
Sean 'Diddy' Combs' ongoing sex trafficking trial has yielded a plethora of shocking claims, heavy testimonies, and accusations — and those present in the courtroom are generally expected to keep their reactions to a minimum. On Thursday (June 5), the defendant was warned by the judge he may be removed from the courtroom due to facial expressions he repeatedly made to jurors. U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian said Diddy's behavior was 'absolutely unacceptable,' as it was seen as attempting to interfere with members of the jury during today's testimonies. 'I was very clear there should be no facial expressions to the jury and I could not have been clearer,' Subramanian said, per NBC. 'There was a line of questioning where your client was nodding vigorously and looking at the jury.' 'There should be no efforts to have any interactions with this jury,' he sternly warned. The judge asked defense lawyer Marc Agnifilo if this would happen again, and the attorney replied, 'No, your honor, it's not going to happen again.' Subramanian stated that if the Bad Boy founder continued interfering with the panel, he will 'give an instruction to the jury or it could result in the exclusion of your client from the courtroom.' Today's incident is not the only time a disruption occurred in the room, as earlier this week, someone's behavior did result in them being removed from court proceedings. On Tuesday (June 3), a heckler who identified as a Diddy supporter yelled out profanities because she was 'tired of seeing everyone treating Diddy the way they are.' 'These motherf**kers are laughing at you,' the woman yelled at Combs in the Southern District of New York courtroom, per PEOPLE. The outlet reports she shouted several additional profanities before Judge Arun Subramanian ordered her to be escorted out. She also said: 'You're laughing at a Black man's legacy' and 'pull your gun out ninja, I dare you.' Diddy remained seated in his spot and did not have a noteworthy reaction to what was said. The father of seven is facing one count of racketeering conspiracy; two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was arrested in NYC on Sept. 16, 2024, and held at MDC Brooklyn without bail. His trial is expected to last all of June and into July. ‘I know this dude!': David Alan Grier explains why he leapt at the chance to play a ‘burned-out' doctor on ‘St. Denis Medical'
'For me, it was just an opportunity to see a bunch of friends in the same room and kick it and have a ball,' shares David Alan Grier about his Critics Choice Award nomination for his role on St. Denis Medical. The actor received the acknowledgment last December for the first season of the NBC mockumentary, in which he stars as the curmudgeonly but knowledgeable Doctor Ron. Grier knew from the description of the character alone that he wanted to join the series. He remembers reading the script by Eric Ledgin and Justin Spitzer, which characterized Ron as 'burned out' and 'the oldest staff member' in the hospital, and thinking, 'I know this dude!' Despite the laughs inherent in that type of guy, the performer knew there would be heft to the role, too. 'I think he's a really good doctor. It's just the system won, for the most part,' reflects the star. He explains that Ron tries to help other staff members avoid the mistakes he made, sharing, 'You sacrifice your family, which he did. You lose touch with your kids, all this stuff happens. He went through a divorce, and he's struggling to hold things together.' 'It's a weird show, it's like a hybrid,' explains the actor, who trained at the Yale School of Drama. He finds that 'the humor there is earned and organic. … The way it's written, it's a drama,' and notes, 'The biggest challenge was just, you have to trust … I had to trust that the tone was right.' Grier is a veteran of television ensemble comedies including In Living Color, The Carmichael Show, and Life With Bonnie, and he returns to that format with St. Denis Medical. 'When you're in a good company, it's like a sports team. You pass the ball, someone takes it down the court, sets the other person up for a shot. It makes it all the better,' explains the actor about why he loves working on these large ensemble shows. He did not know the producers or showrunners before reading the script, but his good friend Ana Gasteyer vouched for their brilliance, as she had worked with both Spitzer and Ledgin on American Auto. He also leapt at the chance to work with the cast that had already been assembled, including Wendi McLendon-Covey and Allison Tolman, saying that once he heard they were on board, 'all my fears were assuaged.' SEE Inside the success of 'St. Denis Medical': 'If you're a comedy and you're not trying to make people laugh, I don't think you're doing it right' One of Grier's standout episodes that demonstrates how he walks the show's fine line between comedy and drama comes early in the season. In 'Weird Stuff You Can't Explain,' Ron tempts fate when he dismisses staff members' beliefs in superstitions and puts a hex on the hospital. The doctor has a change of heart in the operation room, though, when a procedure proves more complicated than he thought and he says a prayer before making his first incision. 'To me, that's more true to life,' says the actor about the source of comedy on the show, adding, 'Nine times out of 10, when you laugh … I'll guarantee you it's a dramatic moment.' He notes that Ron's turn to prayer echoes his own life, too. 'The praying is very much me. I wouldn't describe myself as a very religious person, but in the event … I'm going to do some prayers in there, just for the odds,' reflects the performer with a chuckle. A late season installment, "Bruce-ic and the Mus-ic," finds Ron serving as the emcee of the hospital's annual fundraiser, during which he butts heads with administrator Joyce (McLendon-Covey) over how explicitly he should solicit donations. This episode proved to be one of the most challenging for Grier for a simple reason. 'I did stand-up for so long, so in that episode, resisting the temptation to really do it' proved difficult, says the performer, adding, 'It was kind of the anti-David episode. It wasn't me. I couldn't be really funny.' He also cites 'Buffalo Bruce and Matty the Kid' as a favorite, during which Ron struggles with not being invited to a coworker's birthday party, even though he would not choose to go even if he had been asked. Prior to starring on St. Denis Medical, Grier took home the first Tony Award of his career for his performance in A Soldier's Play. The stage veteran remembers the moment vividly: 'When they said my name, I sat there because I wanted to make sure they said my name. … I didn't want to read from my cellphone and I immediately became really emotional, so that's why I had to go to comedy, because in that split second, I was like, 'If I go down this road, I'm going to be a blubbering mess.'' The victory, after three prior nominations for The First, Race, and The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, continues to resonate with the actor. 'I was very humbled. I continue to be very humbled,' admits the star.
