Mamamoo's Moonbyul to drop solo single
Dubbed 'Icy Bby,' the single will give fans a taste of her soon-to-be-released album.
The news came on the seventh anniversary of her solo career, which began with single album 'Selfish.' More recently, she released 'Starlit of Twinkle: Repackage' in August last year, a reissue of her first solo studio album, 'Starlit of Muse.' The original album topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 10 regions while the repackage topped the chart in seven.
Alongside the release of "Starlit of Twinkle: Repackage," Moonbyul hosted her first solo international tour, visiting fans in eight cities in Asia and 12 in North America.
In July, she will hold fan concerts in Japan: in Tokyo on July 4 and in Osaka on July 12.

Purple Kiss to host final concert in Japan
Girl group Purple Kiss announced Thursday that it will have a live show in Kawasaki of the Greater Tokyo area on Sept. 13. Zerobaseone drops hints for 1st LP
Zerobaseone dropped a hint for fans concerning its soon-to-be-released set. The group uploaded a trailer video for its first studio album, 'Never Say Never,' Thursday, as an extended version of a clip it showed at KCON LA 2025 last week. The nine-member act performed at the event in Los Angeles, where three members also co-hosted through three days. The band will bring out the LP on Sept. 1 and host a showcase to be broadcast online as well. Zerobaseone's last album, fifth EP 'Blue Paradise,' debuted on the Billboard 200 at No. 28 and became the group's first entry on the chart, while focus track 'Blue' was listed among 'The 25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2025 (So Far)' by Billboard. EXO's Chanyeol to return as solo singer: report
Chanyeol of EXO is putting together a solo album that will be released in late August, according to a local media report on Wednesday. The new album follows about a year after 'Black Out,' his first-ever solo album. The EP claimed No. 1 on the iTunes Top Albums chart in 51 regions as well as a series of music charts in Korea and China. After unveiling the solo EP, he launched his solo tour, 'City-scape,' visiting fans in 11 cities across Asia and holding an encore show in Seoul in February. In an April livestream alongside Suho, D.O. and Kai, held to celebrate the band's 13th debut anniversary, the members told fans that they will host a fan meetup when Sehoon is discharged.
