All Coronation Street spoilers for next week as ITV airs sad scenes

Metro13-06-2025
Next week in Coronation Street, a heartbreaking secret will be revealed as Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) finally tells the rest of her family that she has dementia.
Debbie's brother Carl (Jonathan Howard) is the only person who knows about her health at the moment, but a collapse at Speed Daal changes everything.
Also in Weatherfield, Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) makes a mistake when she leaves a troubled teen alone, while Sally (Sally Dynevor) and Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) take a risk and report a neighbour to social services.
Your spoilers for next week in Corrie, as ever, are right here.
Brody (Ryan Mulvey) attempts to wind Daniel (Rob Mallard) up and spills his drink over his work, so Lisa threatens to arrest him for harassment. When Carla (Alison King) pops by, she finds Lisa putting Brody in handcuffs.
At the station, Brody refuses to explain what the bottle of pills he's got in his pocket are for. Alone in his cell, Brody calls out to Lisa that he needs his medication but she heads off, believing he's just trying to wind her up again. Brody then suffers a seizure.
Meanwhile, Sally shares her concerns about Lou's (Farrell Hegarty) children with Tim and reckons they should speak to social services.
Also, Maria (Samia Longchambon) returns from the police station and tells Gary (Mikey North) that she's been released pending further investigation. When she finds Lou, Maria rails at her for making the police report, but Lou says it wasn't her. Later, Lou calls to see Gary and they share a beer together.
Elsewhere on the cobbles, Todd (Gareth Pierce) decides to get drunk after seeing Theo's (James Cartwright) family picture. In the pub, Sean (Antony Cotton) checks the dating app on his phone, and is shocked to find a picture of Theo on there.
When James (Jason Callender) explains to Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) that Laila kept him up most of the night, she offers to take over. Later, Daniel tells Dee-Dee that she should talk to Amy (Elle Mulvaney) about doing a slot on student radio about black women's maternity experiences.
At the Rovers' Drag Night, Theo replies to another of Millie's numerous texts. He eventually gets settled into the evening, but is shocked when Sean lets slip that Todd and Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) used to be together.
When Todd spots Theo's phone on the table, he puts it onto airplane mode, leaving Theo to believe that Millie got bored of texting him.
As Theo bonds with Billy, they decide to swap numbers but as he reaches for his device, Theo realises it's on airplane mode. He changes it back, and realises Danielle (Natalie Anderson) has been trying to call because Millie is in hospital, leaving him furious at Todd.
At the Chariot Square Hotel, Debbie and Bernie (Jane Hazelgrove) find Brody enjoying a drink with a mate. When the youngster fails to provide ID, Debbie loses her temper and smashes his drink on the bar.
Also, Dee-Dee realises that she'll have to take Laila for her vaccinations on her own. After the appointment, Dee-Dee admits to Michael that she found the whole experience emotional. During a chat with Daniel, Dee-Dee wonders if she's mentally strong enough to do Amy's radio interview.
Elsewhere, just as he leaves for his chemo session, Kevin (Michael Le Vell) spots an awkward glance between Abi (Sally Carman) and Carl (Jonathan Howard).
At the café, Bernie realises Debbie has forgotten to pay for her order. Later, Debbie tells Ronnie (Vinta Morgan) and Leanne (Jane Danson) that the awards ceremony needs to be cancelled, due to a flood at the hotel. More Trending
Leanne offers to host it at Speed Daal though and enjoys time with Ronnie, leaving Debbie jealous. When Carl tells Abi that they're meant to be together, their chat stops when they realise Debbie is watching. Suddenly, Debbie collapses and as she regains consciousness, Kevin and Abi tell her she's going to hospital.
Debbie reveals that she already knows what's wrong, and confirms she has dementia.
Meanwhile, Todd finds Theo snapping an elastic band on his wrist. Millie then arrives and tells them living with her Mum is stressing her out. Later, she tells Todd that all she wants is for her Dad to come home and lead a normal family life, and she's prepared to do whatever it takes.

Peter Andre is labelled a 'hero' after clambering through a window to rescue son Theo, 8, from a locked toilet during family break in Cyprus

Peter Andre proved he's no flush-in-the pan on Wednesday after rescuing son Theo from a locked toilet. The Mysterious Girl singer is currently enjoying a summer break in Cyprus with his family, but he was forced to step in after Theo, eight, was caught short during a trip to a local animal sanctuary. The youngster found himself locked inside a set of public toilets at Camel Park, prompting Peter, 52, to take action by climbing through an open window at the rear of the outhouse. Holidaymakers cheered the pop star on as he clambered through to retrieve his son, before helping lower the child to the ground. But despite having no trouble forcing his way into the locked toilet, Peter - dressed in beach shorts and a pair of flip flops - needed help of his own after struggling to climb back through the narrow window after rescuing Theo. 'Saved the day, and I'm still embarrassed,' the red-faced singer later admitted. In a separate video, shared with Instagram followers, Theo - Peter's son with second wife Emily MacDonagh - was seen complaining about the heat inside the unventilated toilet as his father peered through the window. The incident took place as Peter and his children paid a visit to Mazotos and the largest camel park in Europe, described on its Instagram platform as the 'place to visit for a different day out.' The Australian singer is also taking a rather different approach to music after ditching his mainstream brand of pop in favour of reggae, a decision that could potentially risk further controversy after his recent foray into acting. Earlier this year, Peter faced inevitable backlash for his starring role in Jafaican, a new film in which he plays a fraudster charged with mastering Jamaican culture in order to commit a major fraud on the Caribbean island. The problematic premise demanded his character wear fake dreadlocks and adopt a somewhat shaky Jamaican accent while attempting to pass himself off as black, a hard sell for outraged viewers. Peter has since brushed aside the controversy by returning to music, and his latest reggae infused offering appears to be inspired by his experiences on set. Sharing a teaser with Instagram followers on Monday, the father-of-five can be seen singing wistful lyrics about his 'island girl' while stripped to waist. In one choice verse, he croons: 'Said I wanna girl, wanna girl, wanna girl from the island. We pull another drink and move till the sun's up.' Peter faced inevitable backlash for his starring role in Jafaican, a new film in which he plays a fraudster charged with mastering Jamaican culture in order to commit a major fraud Captioning his post, Peter confirmed there was even more where that came from, adding: 'If summer was a song, this would be it. Heatwave incoming… new album dropping soon.' In May, the singer defended his decision to star in Jafaican - which has been described as 'profoundly disrespectful' - by recalling the racial abuse he experienced as a child growing up in Australia. The singer was born in London to Greek-Cypriot parents Savaas and Thea Andre before the family emigrated to Sydney on Australia's east coast when he was six. Peter said he was once tied to a fence by blue-eyed, blonde-haired school-children who 'threw stones at his head because of his darker skin tone'. He told The Sun: 'I remember the bullying and the racism we suffered as kids in Australia and how tough that was. 'But it gave me a deep understanding of what's truly offensive and what's not. If someone dressed up with a curly wig and a big nose, doing a Greek accent, I'd probably laugh – it depends on the intention. 'But if someone said "I hate you Greeks" or made hateful comments about our skin, that's where the line is. That's racism.'

Peter Andre branded ‘embarrassing' as he shares rare video of son Theo from chaotic holiday

PETER Andre was branded "embarrassing" as he got stuck in a window amid a huge holiday emergency. The Mysterious Girl hitmaker, 52, intervened when son Theo became trapped in a public toilet. 6 6 6 Peter, who shares his second-eldest son, aged eight, with wife Emily MacDonagh, 35, often keeps the schoolboy out of the spotlight. Yet he couldn't resist documenting their vacation mishap in a new video on TikTok, which captured the drama unfolding. Pete introduced the clip by filming the exterior on the orange-walled public bathrooms and said: "Right guys we have a bit of a situation here because these are the toilets. "This is the door, its completely locked from the inside and the outside and someone can't get out." He then panned the camera from the outside of the tiny window in the toilet wall inside the facility and captured Theo - wearing shorts and a T-Shirt but with his face blurred - inside. The youngster exclaimed: "It's boiling in here!" Flava hitmaker Pete was then seem clambering through the window wearing his flip flops and a white baseball hat. He rescued Theo and passed him through the gap before he told the crowds: "Ladies and gentlemen there's always ways to get out of these situations, be careful." Yet he then struggled to get out himself, failing to get the leverage from the inside wall to give him a boost. Watch the moment horrified Peter Andre reacts to 'disgusting' messages daughter Princess, 18 receives from men online There was a hairy moment when it seemed he might not get out at all before one of his kids - who wasn't captured in the shot - shouted out: "You're embarrassing us dad!" Clearly taking the incident tongue in cheek, he then uploaded a clip showing TOWIE's Gemma Collins ranting: "I ain't staying here," before he showcased his exit. In his TikTok caption, the dad of five wrote: "Saved the day and I'm still embarrassing." His followers were quick to empathise and one put: "Team Pete." A second wrote: "Good on you Pete." A third then put: "What a hero." DAD DUTIES Peter welcomed his third child, Arabella, now one, with wife Emily in April 2024. Together, the duo share two other children, Amelia, 11, and Theo. Peter also shares two kids, Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, with ex-wife Katie Price. He was recently left "horrified" as he reacted to the "disgusting" messages Princess receives online. He also stood by the teen amid her recent rift with mum Katie. 6 6 6

Corrie recasts character for a second time in a year as new star begins filming

A young Coronation Street actor has departed the show, meaning another new face will soon join the cast. Carter-J Murphy joined the ITV soap as Harry Platt towards the end of last year. The character was born in 2016 and is the son of Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) and villain Callum Logan. Callum was killed by Kylie Platt before Harry was born, and his body was buried underneath the annex at No.8. After Harry's birth, the body was discovered, and Sarah was hospitalised for postnatal psychosis, having believed that Callum was still alive. Carter-J has only played the role for a handful of episodes, as an amazing opportunity has seen the young star depart the show. It's said the actor has been cast in Matilda the Musical and due to the fact he couldn't juggle the tour and filming for Corrie, he has left. Prior to Carter-J playing Harry, twins Freddie and Isaac Rhodes portrayed the role. Also according to The Sun, an actor called Josh has taken over the role, with his first scenes expected to air within the coming weeks. Carter-J made his screen debut in 2024 in the new Robbie Williams biopic, Better Man, playing a younger version of the singer himself. Another Platt family member was recast earlier this year, with a star called Grace Ashcroft-Gardner taking over the role as Lily Platt. The actress made her debut in a dramatic episode that saw Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton) escape prison and storm Weatherfield High School in search of his daughter Joanie Michaelis (Savannah Pennington). As students realised what was going on, they went in search of safety in locked classrooms. Lily's cousin, Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan), ran through the corridor and arrived at the door Lily was on the other side of. Sam banged the door, desperate for Lily to open it but she was consumed with fear, meaning she completely froze. In the aftermath of this, Sam struggled with anxiety and panic attacks. The ordeal also reminded him of how his mother Natasha died. In 2022, Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) escaped from prison and went in search of revenge on Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson). He pulled the trigger on a gun, believing he was shooting Leanne, but realised moments later that it wasn't her. Sam's mum Natasha later died in hospital. Newcomer Grace has taken over the role from young actress Brooke Malonie, who had played Lily since 2016. More Trending Taking to Instagram last month, Grace shared her excitement at joining the ITV soap. Alongside several behind-the-scenes pictures, she wrote: 'I am so excited to share my news that I have joined the cast of Coronation Street playing the role of Lily Platt!' 'The whole Corrie team, the cast and crew have been absolutely amazing, I couldn't have asked for any more support during my first few weeks filming on the cobbles,' she continued, before urging her followers to watch her first episodes.
