Wisconsin man charged with 20 counts of child porn possession with $50,000 cash bond, shared 60+ images online
CALEDONIA, Wis. (WFRV) – A 23-year-old Wisconsin man faces 20 counts of felony child pornography possession after an investigation into a cyber tip revealed he had at least 60 images of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) through an online messaging app.
According to the Caledonia Police Department, the investigation began on January 30, 2025, when an Internet Crimes Against Children cybertip linked possible CSAM to a Caledonia address.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for an online messaging app called 'Kik' where it was allegedly shared. Further investigation included surveillance of the suspect, identified as Christopher Dufay.
On Tuesday, the department conducted an operation to arrest and execute a search warrant at Dufay's home in Caledonia. The investigation revealed at least 60 images of CSAM, to which Dufay admitted to possessing in an interview with a detective.
The Racine County District Attorney's Office charged him with 20 counts of child pornography possession, labeling them Class D Felonies. His cash bond was set at $50,000.

The Caledonia Police Department said the operation on Tuesday was aided by an FBI Task Force Officer, a special agent with the Wisconsin Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation and Mount Pleasant Police Department's electronic detection dog.

Cape Town couple arrested on child porn charges allegedly abused their own children
A Bloubergstrand couple has been arrested for the alleged sexual abuse of their two daughters, aged 3 and 8. They have been accused of producing child pornography and other sexual offences. According to police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Amanda van Wyk, a multidisciplinary team comprising members of the national and Western Cape Serial and Electronic Crime Investigations (SECI) Units, and officials from the Department of Social Development (DSD), supported by the FBI and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), arrested the 47-year-old woman and 48-year-old man in Bloubergstrand on Tuesday. They were found at a house identified through joint investigative efforts. The two children were rescued during the operation and have since been put in a place of safety. Several electronic devices were seized. Last month, the Asset Forfeiture Unit (AFU) seized assets, including a luxury vehicle and R647 300 in cash belonging to Darryn Wilken and his girlfriend, Tiona Megan Moodley. Investigations by various law enforcement agencies, including the US Secret Service and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), led to their arrests. The couple faces charges for allegedly running a child pornography website, offering material for sale internationally. National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane said along with the cash and vehicle, the unit also seized high-end electronic equipment. 'It (Wilken's luxury vehicle) brazenly reflected a registration number 'KIDZ NA GP'. The luxury vehicle, high-end electronic equipment and R647 300 in cash were the subjects of the search and seizure warrant,' she said.

KAYSVILLE, Utah () — A Kaysville Police officer has passed away. He was diagnosed with stage four brain cancer in September 2024. In a on Tuesday, they shared the news that Sergeant Jared Jensen had passed away. 'It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sergeant Jared Jensen. Sgt. Jensen served our department and community with unwavering dedication, integrity, and honor. His contributions and character left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of working alongside him,' the police department shared. Sgt. Jensen has been recognized or awarded seven times during his time as a police officer. He also survived a near-deadly shooting when an 'assailant fired eight rounds' into his police car, according to the U.S. Marshals. Jensen worked with the Clinton City Police Department, the Sunset Police Department, a police academy instructor, and finally with the Kaysville Police Department and U.S. Marshals. Sgt. Second defendant convicted in human trafficking sexual assault case in Fond du Lac
FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – A second illegal immigrant found in Fond du Lac County has been convicted of human trafficking sexual assault involving his co-defendant's daughter. Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney announced that Juan Carlos Rocha-Mejia was convicted of first-degree sexual assault of a child after pleading no contest. 42-year-old Wisconsin man arrested for 4th OWI after swerving in between multiple lanes Co-defendant Elia Antonio, the mother of the victim, was previously convicted of human trafficking of a child, failure to protect a child, and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping. Bond was revoked for Rocha-Mejia, and the judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation. 'Today is another step towards justice for the survivor, with the second defendant being convicted for a disgusting attack on a child,' said Toney. 'We look forward to the upcoming sentencing hearings to hold both defendants accountable and help the survivor move past the court process. I am grateful for the excellent investigative efforts by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office and ADA Menzl.' The investigation revealed that Rocha-Mejia and Antonio are illegally in the United States. The convictions stem from a sexual assault of Elia Antonio's daughter on March 18, 2024. Antonio gave her daughter to Rocha-Mejia to be sexually assaulted for approximately $250. Rocha-Mejia held the child in a van and attempted to duct-tape her as he began to sexually assault her. The defendant's DNA and the survivor's DNA were found on duct tape located in the van. Rocha-Mejia faces up to 40 years of initial confinement.
