
Emmys Set Date for 2025 Ceremony
The 2025 Emmy Awards have a date.
The 77th primetime ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 14, CBS and the Television Academy announced on Wednesday.
The ceremony will air live throughout the mainland on CBS at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. as well as streaming on Paramount+ (for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers).
The 77th Emmys will also be available to watch on demand the next day for all Paramount+ users.
It will once again take place at Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles' L.A. Live complex.
That means that the two-night Creative Arts Emmys, which usually take place the weekend before the Primetime Emmys telecast, will be held on Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7.
Hosts and producers for the 77th Emmys telecast, as well as the Creative Arts events, will be announced in the future.
The 77th Emmys nominations will be revealed on Tuesday, July 15, at 8:30 a.m. on the Television Academy's Emmys.com website.

First Details on "Sahar El Layali" Sequel Revealed
Yara Sameh The first details of the sequel to the 2003 star-studded romantic drama film "Sahar El Layali"— have been revealed, courtesy of original writer Tamer Habib. The 2003 film featured a starry cast that includes Sherif Moneer, Mona Zaki, Hanan Turk, Fathy Abdel Wahab, Ahmed Helmy, Ola Ghanem, Khaled Abol Naga, Gihan Fadel, and more. Directed by Hani Khalifa, "Sahar El Layali" took three years to come to light and is regarded as one of the boldest films involving ensembles and relationship struggles. The film follows a group of friends and their spouses gathering at a birthday party where they reminisce and converse. Conflicts rose between the couple after the party leading the men to leave for Alexandria to relive their bachelor days. Habib is close to finishing the script for the follow-up, which will feature a large number of major young talent and include a number of surprises. The sequel is directed by Maryam Ahmadi and produced by Esaad Younis, who also served as the producer of the first film. It explores the contemporary marital issues that differ from those addressed in the first film, most notably the crisis of communication and the phenomenon of ghosting. Bahaa Sultan to Present First-Ever Concert in Libya on August 21
Yara Sameh Egyptian superstar Bahaa Sultan will perform live at the Turkish Palace Square, in Al Kish, Libya, on Thursday, August 21. He is set to present several of his popular and latest songs.
