First Details on "Sahar El Layali" Sequel Revealed

The first details of the sequel to the 2003 star-studded romantic drama film "Sahar El Layali"— have been revealed, courtesy of original writer Tamer Habib.
The 2003 film featured a starry cast that includes Sherif Moneer, Mona Zaki, Hanan Turk, Fathy Abdel Wahab, Ahmed Helmy, Ola Ghanem, Khaled Abol Naga, Gihan Fadel, and more.
Directed by Hani Khalifa, "Sahar El Layali" took three years to come to light and is regarded as one of the boldest films involving ensembles and relationship struggles.
The film follows a group of friends and their spouses gathering at a birthday party where they reminisce and converse. Conflicts rose between the couple after the party leading the men to leave for Alexandria to relive their bachelor days.
The sequel will feature a brand new cast and will discuss the problems of the current era.
Habib is close to finishing the script for the follow-up, which will feature a large number of major young talent and include a number of surprises.
The sequel is directed by Maryam Ahmadi and produced by Esaad Younis, who also served as the producer of the first film.
The pic explores the lives of eight men men in their late twenties and early thirties, all newly married.
It explores the contemporary marital issues that differ from those addressed in the first film, most notably the crisis of communication and the phenomenon of ghosting.
The cast is currently being selected.

Iranian President to Visit Armenia, Belarus

Nada Mustafa Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will head to Armenia and Belarus on Monday for a two-day visit, followed by a trip to China later this month to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit. Mehdi Sanaei, President's political advisor, stated that the visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Iran and the two countries, particularly in the trade sector, as well as to sign a series of joint agreements, according to Iran's Tasnim News Agency. He added that the trip was initially planned for late June but was postponed until now. Sanaei also confirmed that President Pezeshkian has received an invitation to attend the SCO summit in China at the end of August. Russia, U.S. to Hold New Round of Consultations on Normalizing Relations

Nada Mustafa Russian Ambassador to United States (U.S.) Anatoly Antonov, said on Saturday that a new round of consultations between Russia and U.S. on normalizing bilateral relations is scheduled to take place soon. Antonov confirmed, in remarks carried by the Russian news agency TASS today, that the upcoming round of talks on normalizing relations between Moscow and Washington will be held in the near future. U.S. Embassy in Moscow had earlier stated that the American side is ready for the next round of discussions and considers them constructive. The previous two rounds of consultations were held in Istanbul on February 27 and April 10.
