A separate study suggests that due to beetroot's high content of polyphenols, flavonoids, dietary nitrates, and other beneficial nutrients, its supplementation "may provide a holistic means to prevent cancer and manage undesired effects associated with chemotherapy."
Furthermore, a 2023 report published in the European Respiratory Journal found that a daily beetroot juice supplement lowered blood pressure and improved exercise capacity in 81 individuals with Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Professor Hopkinson remarked on the results, noting: "At the end of the study, we found that the blood pressure of people taking the nitrate-rich beetroot juice drink was lower and their blood vessels became less stiff. The juice also increased how far people with COPD could walk in six minutes compared to placebo."
He added: "This is one of the longest-duration studies in this area so far. The results are very promising but will need to be confirmed in larger, longer-term studies."

Step onto Savile Row, London's most iconic street for style
As the inspiration behind Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's brand—synonymous with understated luxury—Savile Row (UK) remains a must-visit for the sartorially inclined traveller. 78 per cent cashmere, 14 per cent silk, 3 per cent wool, 2 per cent camel (and 3 per cent other fibres, where necessary): such is the label found inside the 'Mance' coat from The Row's Autumn/Winter 2019 collection. Designed with side pockets and a back flap, it boasts an ideal length and a price tag akin to that of a modest vehicle. 'Sometimes the coat is worth more than the money itself.' And yet, the 'Mance' coat isn't even the most extravagant offering. The Row's 'Margaux 10' handbag, rendered in crocodile leather, commands a sum comparable to a pre-owned Bentley. That these pieces continue to sell out at such prices owes everything to the brand's unwavering commitment to quality. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen did justice to The Row's namesake, honouring the London street that is home to the world's most exacting tailors: Savile Row. Nestled in the Mayfair district of Westminster, central London, Savile Row is the cradle of British tailoring. In essence, it is where any gentleman serious about refined dress naturally finds himself. See more: What to expect from Prada's 'billion dollar deal' to acquire Versace?

Netflix You fans rage by the 'injustice' of season 5 ending
WARNING: This article contains major spoilers from You season five. Netflix fans are far from pleased with the conclusion of You season five due to one particular character. Joe Goldberg (portrayed by Penn Badgley) is back at his old tricks, falling deeply for a troubled woman and using his emotions as a justification to torment and kill those in their vicinity. This time, his wife Kate Lockwood (Charlotte Ritchie) uncovers his true nature when he murders a family member of hers who threatened to reveal a past deal she made that resulted in children developing cancer. Although she initially gives him her approval, she soon regrets her decision and after further investigation into his history, determines that he must be stopped. With assistance from season four's Nadia (Amy-Leigh Hickman), whom he framed for murder, and his series three romantic interest Marienne (Tati Gabrielle), they succeed in trapping Joe in his infamous glass cage. However, things don't go as planned when Joe manages to escape, shoots Kate, and strikes her on the head with a mallet. Joe Goldberg met Kate Lockwood in You season four and the couple are now married with his son Henry in the fifth outing. (Image: NETFLIX) In an unexpected turn of events, Maddie (Anna Camp) appears in Mooney's bookstore seeking revenge against Joe for imprisoning Harrison (Pete Ploszek) and sets the store ablaze. As he retreats to the basement, it is believed that Kate dies as she loses consciousness shortly after recording Joe's admission that he poisoned his first wife Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti). But, in the final moments of the season finale, it's revealed that Kate is not dead. She walks into a restaurant with Henry, prepared to meet her brother Teddy, with severe burns visible on her right arm. However, fans of You feel that Kate's ending lacked "justice" despite being scarred for life by the events. On Reddit, a fan expressed their discontent: "I don't care what fate he got since he was exposed anyways, but I wish Kate also got punished too. She was essentially able to walk free." Another fan agreed, saying: "Thank you! ! I thought I was the only one who was incredibly frustrated with how they were portraying her to be some redeemable saviour. You season five ended with Kate Lockwood having custody of Joe Goldberg's son Henry. (Image: NETFLIX) 'She killed children in the past and ordered a hit on a relative of hers because of the fear of it being leaked. 'The fact that she somehow survived being shot and hit with a mallet while burning alive in the basement was also ridiculous.' 'Kate literally got to keep Henry at the end and was a karma houdini essentially', a third commented. 'I'm glad Joe got what he deserved, but I still feel unsatisfied in terms of justice because of her.' Someone else then pointed out: 'Kate did all of that only to end up being exactly like Joe. 'Dodging accountability for her actions, escaping legal and moral culpability, insisting her own kills are for the greater good while pretending as though she doesn't like/derive pleasure and enjoyment out of doing it, and insisting that she's a good person beneath it all." They added: "Joe became the Love to Kate's Joe. And Henry absolutely does need to be taken away from her yesterday.' You is available to watch on Netflix.
