If there's one thing we know about Teyana Taylor, it's that she's going to apply pressure. The Harlem-bred star understands the assignment every time. Whether serving fierce red carpet style, dropping jaw-dropping fashion editorials, owning a dance move, or giving us raw, emotional performances on screen, Teyana executes it at the highest level.
So, why would her new Escape Room video visuals – dropped on social media on May 30 – be any different?

The multihyphenate star's teaser opens with Teyana in a dreamy bridal moment, standing at the altar opposite LaKeith Stanfield. But fans quickly see that what's unfolding isn't your typical love story.
Teyana's Escape Room visuals take a sharp turn: blood-soaked clothing, a cage coffin, a cyber-glam robot fantasy, and chaotic passion with two leading men, Stanfield and Aaron Pierre. Yes, Sis, two heartthrobs. Steamy scenes, mysterious effects, and stunning details have fans ready for a whole movie.
'Teyana > everyone else!' wrote one fan. 'Harlem! This is 🔥🔥 I'm down to watch a full album movie if you are down to bless us with one?' commented another on Instagram.

As always, the lewks are doing the most in the best way. Her bridal couture moment is believed to be from Robert Wun's Spring/Summer 2024 collection. The matrimonial piece features exaggerated shoulders, ornate detailing, and sheer veils.
Another scene shows Teyana dressed in a red suit that is on fire. She then switches to a bikini in the same bold hue. As the artist appears on screen, her body is smoking hot – literally.
Escape Room, both the short film and the album, is set to drop this August via Def Jam, marking the next evolution in Teyana's multihyphenate career. If this teaser is any indication, the full release will be equal parts mind-bending, stylish, and iconic.

This California Getaway is a budget-friendly alternative to San Francisco.

Yolo County California is a tranquil respite from city life. Now's the time to visit for the best of summer harvest and a peak into fall. getty The word 'YOLO' is an acronym for 'You Only Live Once' and is best visualized as a bungee-jumping teenager screaming as he takes the leap. But adults who are just looking to live their best lives might find a better interpretation by checking out Yolo County, California. This pocket of the Golden State is just 90 minutes from San Francisco, an hour from the extraordinary wine of Napa, and 20 minutes from UC Davis. It's an easy flight into Sacramento International Airport followed by a 40 min drive to the heart of the county. And it lives up to its name with some of the healthiest and most budget-friendly farm-to-table offerings in the country. It makes sense—California is the largest producer of organic food in the nation, and neighboring San Francisco has more Michelin-starred restaurants than any other city in California. Most of that award-winning food originates in Yolo County, arguably the beating heart of the state's organic food scene. What this means for travelers is that you can enjoy top-notch cuisine at a fraction of the price, capture the California vibe without the crowds, and enjoy a wellness getaway that is more about great food, delicious wines, and the Northern California lifestyle than it is about spa treatments and gyms. The Davis Farmers Market in Yolo County, California, draws summer crowds seeking fresh produce and artisan wares. Visit Yolo Summer's bounty is at its height and fall produce will soon be making an appearance. Davis Farmers Market is the place to find the best of it, to connect with the locals, and to enjoy hours of family entertainment. Here's what to expect through September: two city blocks of vendor stands, including 70 farmers, three local wineries, four breweries, 15 restaurants, and a number of community artisans. There's a carousel and a new splash pad, and on any given Saturday, you might find as many as 10,000 people enjoying the festivities. In 2026, Davis Farmers Market turns 50 years old, so expect some extra fun if you travel to Yolo next year. Located near UC Davis, the farmers market is the perfect place to round out a day. From there, you can walk to the arboretum or up and down the eclectic streets of this college town for hours. Dine On Locally Sourced California Fare The asparagus at Lucy's Cafe & Farm Pantry is almost too pretty to eat, and it's grown just down the street at the family farm. Rebecca Deurlein In downtown Winters, you'll discover everything from casual cafes where farmers gather to trade secrets, to fine dining that could have been lifted straight from the streets of New York City. Putah Creek Café is a great place to grab a hearty sandwich and a table outside for some serious people-watching. Across the street, the Buckhorn Grill, helmed by the same owners, makes you feel like you're in Texas—this is the place to nosh on a filet with your happy hour old-fashioned. And then there's Preserve, a delight for the taste buds where food preservation is central to the dining experience. Yes, it's great to eat everything in season, but it's also commendable to preserve Yolo's overabundance of produce so it's never thrown away. That's where this restaurant earns its moniker—think lemons and jalapenos saved for future dishes and tasting exactly like they were just picked. Chef's selections rely on availability, like the locally farmed trout that fills a delectable agnolotti and is topped with roe. In the tiny town of Esparto, you'll find Lucy's Café & Farm Pantry, where ingredients are sourced from the third-generation Cadena Farm, owned by the same family. The asparagus here is too beautiful to be real, and nearly everything at this café is grown just down the street, including all the vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Even the tonic is homemade with mandarins and blood oranges, so stopping in for a refreshing drink is well worth it. Another small town in Yolo County, Woodland, is a great place to sit down to a delicious breakfast. Don't miss Savory Café, where Chef Pedro Lopez sources ingredients from Durst Organic Growers. Enjoy organic free range eggs with Bloomsdale spinach and Village Bakery brioche (yes, everything has a name so you know exactly where your food came from) for less than $20. Wander A Lavender Farm In Beautiful Yolo Entrepreneur Sherri Wood bought land and grew a lavender farm in Yolo County, California. She's never looked back. Visit Yolo A drive through the Capay Valley is a must when in Yolo. The rolling hills are so green you'll think you're in Ireland, and they're dotted with grazing cattle and idyllic farms that make you take a deep breath and instantly relax. Your goal destination is Capay Valley Lavender, where owner Sherri Wood will personally welcome you to her farm and tell you a story that highlights just how entrepreneurial she is. But you've come for the lavender, and you shall have it. Snap purple-hued photos in the fields, learn how to make oils in one of Wood's onsite classes, and take home lavender in a variety of forms, so you'll always remember the bounty of Yolo. If you're looking for a California getaway that is budget-friendly, food-focused, and filled with small-town charm, you only live once, so get to Yolo.

LiAngelo Ball Quit $3K A Month In The G League To Rap, Can You Blame Him?

Source: Christopher Polk / Getty LiAngelo Ball has made a big switch from basketball to music, and according to him, it was an easy choice. Swerving and bending that corner has made him more than posting up and shooting. In a recent interview with the Bag Fuel podcast, he shared that while playing in the NBA G League, he was only making $3,000 a month. As a grown man trying to build a life, that paycheck wasn't cutting it. So when he started getting paid from music, he didn't think twice. 'I wasn't sitting there like, 'Damn, I gotta keep hooping,'' he said. His song 'Tweaker' went viral and helped him land a major record deal with Def Jam and Universal Music Group. The deal is rumored to be worth up to $13 million, with $8 million guaranteed, a huge step up from what he was making in basketball. We care about your data. See our privacy policy. In July, Ball dropped his first album, League of My Own , where he opened up about some of the personal drama he's been going through. Earlier in the year, as 'Tweaker' was blowing up, his ex and mother of his children, Miss Nikki Baby, called him out on social media. She accused him of leaving her and their kids for another woman, Rashida Nicole, and said he was an absent father. Ball denied those claims and chose to respond in his music. On his song 'Wine N Dine,' he raps, 'They kick me when I'm down, so can you pick me up? / Say I'm a deadbeat daddy who don't give no f-cks.' The lyrics show that he's trying to tell his side of the story and express how all the drama has affected him. LiAngelo's move into music is about more than just the money; it's about doing what makes him happy and taking control of his own path. So far, it looks like that choice is working out. Before his arrest, Jhayco, 32, was reportedly driving at 5 mph and took over a minute to resume driving after coming to a complete stop, per Rolling Stone and NBC 6. When police approached the singer's car, a deputy reportedly observed a "strong odor of cannabis" coming from the vehicle, and that Jhayco had "white powder" on his pants and nose, Rolling Stone and NBC 6 report. He was allegedly unable to provide the police with a driver's license during the stop. Additionally, police discovered that the Grammy-nominated singer had "clear baggies with suspect powder cocaine," totaling about two grams, in his pockets, according to Rolling Stone and NBC 6. USA TODAY has reached out to the Miami-Dade County Sheriff's Office and representatives for Jhayco for comment. Following the incident, Jhayco was booked at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, according to Variety. His bond was set at $3,000, the outlet reported alongside Rolling Stone and NBC 6. Jhayco becomes reggaeton heavyweight with A-list collaborations Jhayco, formerly known as Jhay Cortez, started pursuing music in his teens after taking inspiration from the Puerto Rican-bred genre reggaeton and one of its leading artists, Don Omar, according to the singer's biography on the official Universal Music Latino website. After writing songs for the likes of Tito El Bambino, Zion & Lennox, Ozuna and Nicky Jam, Jhayco launched his solo career with the release of his 2019 debut album "Famouz." The album featured the J Balvin and Bad Bunny collaboration, "No Me Conoce," which peaked at No. 2 on Billboard's Latin Airplay chart and was later certified diamond for sales of over 5 million. Celebrities with legal trouble: Soulja Boy arrested on suspicion of firearm possession Jhayco and Bad Bunny have teamed up over the years for additional hits, including 2022's "Tarot." The EDM-inflected reggaeton banger, featured on Bad Bunny's record-selling "Un Verano Sin Ti" album, helped earn Jhayco a Grammy nomination for album of the year in 2023. Jhayco's latest album, "Le Clique: Vida Rockstar (X)," was released in September 2024. The hit record has since been certified double platinum.
