Jackie 'O' Henderson has revealed never-before-seen details about her new upcoming dating show Stranded On Honeymoon Island.
The KIIS FM radio star, 50, recorded the narration for the Channel Seven series, which was filmed over a year and a half ago.
After pushing back the air date, Jackie has now revealed the show is set to release in June as she opened up on Tuesday about what viewers can expect to see.
'They marry the [contestants]. They turn up, they pair the people. Then they are stuck on an island, kind of like on Survivor, on their own,' Jackie said on her radio show.
'It's your two favourite shows. MAFS [Married At First Sight] and Survivor,' co-host Kyle Sandilands said.
'I know. They are just stuck together on a beach,' Jackie said, before Kyle, 53, asked if any of the contestants hook up and get steamy on camera.
'Some do and some definitely don't,' Jackie explained.
'There is this one girl on there who is the type of girl when she gets feelings, she runs away.
'She genuinely gets feelings for this guy but then the avoidant side kicks in and she can't run. Watching her—she's never had to go through this before.'
But there was little else Jackie could reveal about the woman, as Kyle asked, 'Does she spiral?' to which his glamorous co-host responded: 'Yes. But I can't say much.'
'It's just interesting to watch that human behaviour,' Jackie said.
The media personality went on to detail the gruelling workload she underwent while recording the narration for the upcoming reality TV show.
'When you're narrating a show, it's time consuming. They play the footage for every little scene you have to narrate,' she said.
'Then you'll hear three beeps, as soon as you hear that last beep, you start talking.
'You've got to fit it in perfectly because then someone will start talking. The footage is done, you have to slot in.'
Jackie said it was an impractical way to record the audio, adding that she offered to just record each line up to twelve times and let editors pick which version worked.
She also revealed Stranded On Honeymoon Island will air on Seven next month, though the exact day has yet to be announced.
It comes after the cast of the ill-fated series called for the show to be axed after being left in the dark about its future.
Originally scheduled to air before the end of 2024, the heavily hyped dating series was pushed back indefinitely, leaving contestants fuming at Seven's lack of communication.
One disgruntled bride set to appear on the show vented her frustration.
'We've had enough. We've all put our lives on hold for this, and now we're just sitting here waiting for a decision,' she told Daily Mail Australia.
'Some of us have moved on and started new relationships—one of the guys even proposed to his girlfriend in real life!'
The bride, who wishes to remain anonymous, added it's 'insulting' to still be under contract after such a long delay.
'We were told to keep quiet, no relationships, no social media posts. We're basically living like prisoners, while Seven plays games with us,' she added.
'Some of the cast were even hoping to make it as influencers by now, but instead, they're back on job hunts. It's beyond frustrating.'
The show, based on a Danish format, was originally slated to air between October 1 and December 31, 2024.
