Marshawn Lynch the photographer forearmed a Seahawk for vital reason

USA Today5 days ago
Marshawn Lynch was known for stiff-arming everyone during that famed Beast Quake run, so it shouldn't be any surprise that while he was on the sidelines photographing the Seattle Seahawks and Las Vegas Raiders preseason game, he was out there protecting the camera like it was a football.
As Seahawks running back George Holani was heading toward Lynch and what probably is a very expensive camera, the former RB gave Holani a forearm shiver. It was a good move, as the camera was protected.
He's just there so he won't get fined, but hey, maybe the NFL thinks otherwise! I'm kidding, obviously.
Why was Marshawn Lynch photographing the Seahawks game?
I've found no answer on that yet, but maybe he's taken up the hobby like another Seattle athletic legend.

Seahawks OC Klint Kubiak praises Anthony Bradford

The Seattle Seahawks entered training camp holding competition at two positions on the offensive line. Olu Oluwatimi and Jalen Sundell were battling at center. Anthony Bradford and Christian Haynes were competing at right guard for a second straight offseason. With the regular season roughly one month away, both spots are all but settled. Bradford is the heavy in-house favorite to win the starting job. The Seahawks' coaching staff has consistently praised Bradford this offseason for the improvement he's displayed. Offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak had great things to say about his third-year blocker during Tuesday's 17th training camp practice. "AB [Bradford] has made great strides," Kubiak said. "Obviously he's a physical presence, but you see more consistency in his game throughout camp, so I see a guy that's playing more confident." Bradford struggled mightily under then-OC Ryan Grubb at right guard last season. The former LSU blocker was benched on multiple occasions. Pro Football Focus assigned Bradford an overall offensive grade of 48.3. The hirings of Kubiak and offensive line coach John Benton have seemingly given Bradford new life. The 2023 fourth-round selection appears to finally be showcasing the improvement the Seahawks hoped he'd show last season. Bradford could be poised for a breakout year.

Raiders Connected to Blockbuster $90 Million Trade During Preseason

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Pete Carroll and the Las Vegas Raiders are looking to turn the franchise around during the upcoming 2025 NFL season. After a 2024 campaign filled with disappointment, the team decided to make some changes. Right off the bat, a change at head coach was made. Antonio Pierce was sent packing and Carroll was brought in to rebuild a winning culture. Following that move, the Raiders got even more aggressive. They went out and acquired quarterback Geno Smith in a big trade with the Seattle Seahawks. Adding a wide receiver could be a priority if an opportunity presents itself. What about a potential blockbuster trade for a $90 million superstar in the form of Miami Dolphins' wide receiver Tyreek Hill? That is exactly a scenario that Bleacher Report's Brent Sobleski has suggested. Not only did Sobleski suggest the Raiders as a possible trade fit for Hill, he also gave a potential trade that could make it happen. That trade would send Hill to Las Vegas in exchange for tight end Michael Mayer, a 2026 fifth-round pick, and a 2027 seventh-round pick. "The Raiders aren't a team built to be patient, especially if minority owner Tom Brady is as involved in decision-making as it seems," Sobleski wrote. "Hill can be a difference-maker for the team because he doesn't need to be its No. 1 threat with tight end Brock Bowers already on the roster. The two can be fantastic complementary pieces, as opposing defenses would be stretched by bracketing both in coverage." Last season, Hill had a down year. He caught 81 passes for 959 yards and six touchdowns. In 2023, he racked up 119 receptions for 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns, while also catching 119 passes for 1,710 yards and seven touchdowns in 2022. Should the Raiders pull off a blockbuster trade for Hill, their offense would take a massive step forward. Smith's job would get easier and the team would be a much more dangerous contender in the AFC. It's just an idea at this point, but it's one worth keeping an eye on if Hill hits the trade block. Raiders LB Devin White shows off coverage skills at practice

The Las Vegas Raiders have questions at the linebacker position, especially when asking which one will be their coverage specialist in 2025. The veteran group of Devin White, Elandon Roberts, Jamal Adams, and Germaine Pratt are all downhill run stoppers who struggle in coverage. With an ongoing competition for different roles, White showcased some impressive pass-cover skills at Tuesday's practice. White had two interceptions, according to various reporters in attendance. His first takeaway occurred during an 11-on-11 team drill. Maxx Crosby pressured starting quarterback Geno Smith, who threw a pick-six to White, per Ryan McFadden. His second interception happened during a 7-on-7 period, when a Smith pass bounced off Michael Mayer and into his waiting hands. White only played 162 defensive snaps in 2024, splitting his campaign with the Houston Texans and Philadelphia Eagles. Through a small sample size, Pro Football Focus assigned him an acceptable grade of 62.4 in coverage. In 2023, a full season, White had a 57.0 score in coverage, and it was 47.6 in 2022. A top-five pick in 2019, White has struggled in recent years since his controversial departure from Tampa Bay. The 27-year-old defender is entering a make-or-break campaign, a one-year deal worth just $1.1 million. White needs to continue being a standout performer at practice.
