London housing estate water leak fixed after resident lists it as 'waterfall' on Google Maps
Ilona Papava was frustrated that no one fixed the drip at 71-90 Lissenden Gardens on the estate in Camden, for "at least half a year".
She saw the water - which is thought to have been coming from an overflowed tank - flow into "a neighbour's house" when she walked her dogs daily at Hampstead Heath.
Mrs. Papava, 29, is quoted by MailOnline as saying: "It had been dripping for at least half a year. Water was constantly dripping into a neighbour's house.
"It didn't really affect me directly, but I saw it every day when I went to walk my dogs at Hampstead Heath.
"It was from the roof, coming from the water tank. It was overflowing, and the water was coming through the roof."
She often joked with her husband that the leak resembled a waterfall.
And as she was "bored" one day, Mrs. Papava decided to list it as the "Lissenden Waterfall" on Google Maps - prompting five-star reviews.
The London resident added: "I was just bored and annoyed. I was thinking about how furious I would be if it was facing my flat.
"My partner and I started joking that it was a waterfall. Eventually, neighbours left reviews, and it became this Google Maps joke."
One five-star review of the "waterfall" on Google Maps read: "Just back from Iceland, and believe it or not, none of its waterfalls hold a candle to this one.
"There's something otherworldly about urban water cascading through the streets of Lissenden. Truly magical. Highly recommend."
The joke caught the attention of Camden Council, and it later confirmed the leak, identified in pipework, and fixed it.
Mrs. Papava continued: "We all had a laugh writing the reviews, and I am very happy it has finally been resolved.
"But it did take half a year, and it probably wasn't that hard to fix in the first place.
"Some residents had reached out before, but nothing happened.
"You could hear it every time you walked past it. It was dripping onto the bins, so you would've got wet if you took your bins out there."
A spokesman for Camden Council said: "We apologise to residents for the issues they have been experiencing.
"We have now fixed this issue and stopped the leak."

Freddie Mercury's 'secret daughter' feels he 'belonged to everyone'
A woman who claims to be Freddie Mercury's daughter believes he "belonged to everyone". The Queen frontman died in November 1991, aged 45, and the woman - who is known only as B - has now explained that she "had to become an adult without him". She told MailOnline: "After his death, I had to learn to live with the attacks against him, the misrepresentations of him, and with the feeling that my dad now belonged to everyone. "I cried and mourned my dad, while fans all around the world mourned Freddie. "When you are 15 years old. it's not easy. "I had to become an adult without him, and live all the structuring moments and events without his support. "For 30 years I had to build my life and family without him and accept that he wouldn't be there to share the happy moments with us. For 30 years, while the rest of the world was reinterpreting Mercury's life, his music and all that he had been, I needed to have my dad just for me and my family." The woman claims that she was born in 1976 after Freddie had a fling with a close pal's wife. But Mary Austin - Freddie's one-time lover and close friend - has questioned her claims. In response, B said: "I am devastated by Mary Austin's alleged response. For 34 years, the truth of Freddie's life has been distorted, twisted and rewritten, but she said nothing - with the exception of her comment about the movie Bohemian Rhapsody, which she called "artistic licence". "Here, she has not yet read the book, yet she apparently makes this statement. I don't understand why." B has detailed her life and experiences in a new book with Lesley Ann Jones. The author said: "I am surprised by Mary Austin's response. As a journalist I approached her for interview countless times over many years, but she never once responded. In this book, however, there is only one voice: that of Freddie's daughter herself. "The story is hers. The quotes are hers. Her source is the collection of 17 handwritten diaries that Freddie gave her three weeks before he died."

Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz-Beckham renew wedding vows
Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz-Beckham have renewed their wedding vows. The couple married in April 2022 after three years of dating and on Saturday (02.08.25) they reportedly reaffirmed their commitment to one another. A source told People magazine: 'The event is about honouring the love and commitment they've built together over the years, and creating a memory that will stay with them forever." In April, the couple celebrated their third wedding anniversary and Brooklyn, 26, gushed he falls "more in love" with his 30-year-old wife as time passes. The pair showed the bouquet of pink roses Nicola received from her spouse, along with a note which read: "Dear Nicola, Happy anniversary baby x I love you so much and I continue to fall more in love with you every second x you make me a better man and I couldn't ask for a better partner x you are my soul and my rock x I love you so much Nicola xx Love brooklyn xxxxxxx 3 3.(sic)" Noticeably, Brooklyn's famous parents, David and Victoria Beckham, did not publicly wish the couple a happy anniversary or like their post about the milestone, nor did his siblings Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20, who are active on social media. And it was recently received the aspiring chef - who also has a 14-year-old sister, Harper - and his wife were no longer following his brothers on Instagram. However, despite reports that Brooklyn and Nicola chose to unfollow Romeo and Cruz, friends of the couple alleged to MailOnline that the brothers actually blocked the Peltz-Beckhams on the app. Brooklyn and Nicola still follow his parents Victoria, 51, and David, 50 on Instagram and they both shared a sweet tribute to his younger sister Harper on her 14th birthday earlier this month. Meanwhile, Romeo's ex-girlfriend Kim Turnbull was recently forced to deny claims she was responsible for a rift between Romeo and Brooklyn. Denying a past relationship with Brooklyn, she said on her Instagram page: 'I've avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire, however it's come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on. 'I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative. 'I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question. 'Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16. I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved.'
