Netflix has released a teaser trailer for , an upcoming animated movie starring Simu Liu and Cristin Milioti.
'In Your Dreams is a comedy adventure that follows Stevie and her brother Elliot as they journey into the absurd landscape of their own dreams,' the Netflix synopsis reads. 'If the siblings can withstand a snarky stuffed giraffe, zombie breakfast foods, and the queen of nightmares, the Sandman will grant them their ultimate dream come true…the perfect family.'

The In Your Dreams teaser trailer teases a family adventure where two kids attempt to find the Sandman, the mythical character who might be able to help restore their parents' marriage. While in the dream, Stevie reunites with his stuffed animal, Baloney Tony, who joins the siblings in their quest.
In Your Dreams stars Liu as Dad, Milioti as Mom, Craig Robinson as Baloney Tony, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Stevie, Elias Janssen as Elliot, Gia Carides as Nightmara, Omid Djalili as The Sandman, SungWon Cho as Chad, and Zachary Noah Piser as Joon Bae.
In Your Dreams is directed by Alex Woo and co-directed by Erik Benson, based on a screenplay by the duo. Stanley Moore contributed to the story. Producers include Timothy Hahn and Gregg Taylor.
'One of my favorite things to do as a kid was to wake my brother up in the middle of the night and annoy him with accounts of my weird and crazy dreams,' said Woo in a statement to Netflix. 'When I had the opportunity to make my first feature film, I knew exactly what it was going to be about.'
John Debney is the composer of In Your Dreams. Debney worked on the Hocus Pocus and The Princess Diaries movies. His score for Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ received an Academy Award nomination. Debney's recent work includes Horizon: An American Saga — Chapter 1 and The Garfield Movie.

Finished Dept Q and looking for some films just like it to fill your evenings? Well, we've got you completely covered. After a nine-episode arc that had you constantly at the edge of your seat, you may have come to the end of Dept Q wondering what to watch next. Something about Dept Q has that feel of the 90s boom in detective movies based on thriller books that sold by the bucketload. This iteration of the Alex Cross books by James Patterson is one of the biggest around. If you've not seen it yet, it's a real popcorn Friday movie treat. Morgan Freeman plays hotshot detective Alex Cross who's called in when his niece goes missing - and her disappearance is linked to a serial killer. Helped by one of his victims that's managed to escape, played by Ashley Judd. If you love this movie, there's also a sequel, Along Came A Spider. Oh and if you're all in, Amazon Prime rebooted the books with a great series called Cross. Kiss The Girls is available on Netflix. In a similar 90s vein - and with lots of themes similar to that of Dept Q, The Bone Collector is a stone-cold classic of the genre. Denzel Washington plays a paralysed detective, brought in to investigate a series of murders. Unable to leave his apartment, he partners up and relies on a young Angelina Jolie to help solve the grisly crimes. You can buy or rent The Bone Collector from Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime. Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal are both incredible in this dark and tense movie about the kidnap of two young girls - and the fallout of the investigation on the families and the detective tasked with finding them. The twists and turns of this plot will have you GASPING, I promise. One of director Denis Villeneuve's less-talked about films, it's just as good as his other stellar productions. Prisoners is available to watch on Netflix. When you think about tense crime thrillers about kidnap, this incredible film is top of the list. Based on a Dennis Lehane novel (you must also watch the incredible movie adaptation of his book Mystic River), this film was actually Ben Affleck's directorial debut and stars his brother, Casey Affleck as a local police officer brought in to investigate the kidnapping of a young girl in his community. The last 10 minutes will have you blown away and unable to move from the couch. Gone Baby Gone is available to rent or buy, or stream on Paramount+ Loved Yellowstone? Well this is a Taylor Sheridan movie that flies under the radar - unjustly. Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen trying to solve a murder on the Wind River Indian Reservation. Dark, brooding, thrilling - it's a must-watch. You can watch Wind River on Amazon Prime. Russell Crowe plays a former detective, suffering from memory loss, who is forced to investigate a cold case. As he digs deeper into the case though, as the movie's tagline says, 'he is led to a chilling truth - sometimes, it's best to let sleeping dogs lie'. Sleeping Dogs is available on Amazon Prime. If you're looking for another hit of Scandi noir after Dept Q, this film is based on the Jo Nesbø novel of the same name about a corporate headhunter who leads a double life as an art thief. The film also stars Game of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Headhunters is available on Apple TV+ Frances McDormand won an Oscar for her portrayal of pregnant detective, Marge Gunderson - if you're looking for slightly quirky detectives, she's the one. A seminal movie by Joel and Ethan Coen, if you've not seen Fargo, add it immediately to the top of your watch list. I insist. And then work your way through the anthology series that the movie has spawned too. Fargo is available to watch on Amazon Prime. Enjoyed the 'who's policing the police?' aspect of Dept Q? Well, treat yourself to The Departed. Martin Scorsese's masterpiece has one of the best casts ever assembled, from Jack Nicholson to Leonardo DiCaprio to Matt Damon to Mark Wahlberg. When a crime family place a spy within the Boston police force, the shockwaves create one of the best police and crime dramas ever made. Watch The Departed by buying or renting it on a number of digital platforms.

What Is Wrong With Norah from Netflix's ‘Ginny & Georgia'?
New episodes of Ginny & Georgia season 3 went online on Thursday and there is practically no adolescent issue that this mother-daughter dramedy hasn't covered. Losing your virginity? Check. Getting into a huge fight with your bestie? Yep. Getting drunk at a house party? Got that covered. Learning that your mom killed your stepdad? Also check. Okay, maybe that last one isn't so typical, but you get the idea. So it's no surprise that in season 3 of Ginny & Georgia, the Netflix hit is tackling that infamous coming-of-age milestone: periods. For the past two seasons, fans have watched high school sophomore Ginny and her core group of girlfriends, Max, Abby, and Norah try to survive Wellsbury High. In classic teen show fashion, every character has their own issues. Max is a girl-crazy drama queen (literally, she's an actor), Abby is struggling with body dysmorphia and bulimia, and now, in season 3, Norah's got period problems. Throughout the newest season, Norah is either on her period, waiting for it, or complaining about it. 'My period is so irregular, I can't even predict when it's going to happen,' she says in episode 6, right before getting all of her friends to take pregnancy tests with her. The very next episode, her pregnancy scare is forgotten, but her mysterious period ailments continue. 'My mom took me to the gyno, which was pointless because they just ask me a hundred different questions. And you don't know your family history when you're adopted.' (Yep, the show also has an adoption subplot.) The doctors ran tests, Norah explained, but still can't figure out what's going on. Well, I have a pretty good guess. I first got my period when I was 11, and for five years, when doctors asked me if my periods were heavy or irregular, I shrugged and said, 'No.' I didn't know any better. What I didn't tell my pediatrician was that I was bleeding through super tampons and maxi pads, staining my pajamas and sheets, and downing Advil to deal with my period cramps. Despite having two sisters and a whole gaggle of girlfriends, I truly thought that my period was normal because I had learned to live with it. I never thought to compare notes. Then one morning during a particularly heavy period, I took a step out of bed and a blood clot flew out of my underwear and onto the carpet. I had bled through the super plus tampon I was wearing and my overnight maxi pad. The next time my doctor asked me if my periods were heavy, I finally said, 'Yes.' Unlike Norah, I was overweight, so my doctor already suspected I had a hormonal issue and sent me to an endocrinologist straight away. A few doctors appointments and 8 to 10 vials worth of blood tests later, I was diagnosed with PCOS—Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. It's a hormone disorder believed to be hereditary that can cause, among other things, excess facial hair, heavy or irregular menstrual cycles, weight gain, and ovarian cysts. Some women don't have a lot of symptoms; others have all of the above. At the time, the criteria for PCOS was extremely vague, and the possible treatments were basically nonexistent. (In case you need a reminder: Women's health is underfunded, under-researched, and undervalued.) Effective medical treatments for PCOS are hard to come by. When I asked about next steps, my doctor shrugged their shoulders, gave me a prescription for birth control, and told me to lose weight (which, oh, by the way, is harder to do when you have PCOS). Over 15 years later, it seems not much has changed. At the end of the season, Norah's period mystery remains unsolved. She doesn't know why her periods are irregular or why she has bad cramps. And after years of just dealing with it, she seems resigned to just barreling through. I feel her pain. While I assume that she'll get a hard-fought diagnosis of either PCOS or endometriosis in season 4, it's also possible that she'll never get the answers she's looking for. Ask any woman with PCOS or endometriosis and they'll tell you it took years for them to even go to a doctor to discuss period pain, let alone be diagnosed. And that's partly due to the fact that many women just don't know that these conditions exist. In modern America, period pain is often dismissed, and uterus-related conversations are still taboo. Even in teen shows like Gilmore Girls or Gossip Girl, characters don't acknowledge their periods until there's a pregnancy scare plot. Young women like Norah might not learn about PCOS or endometriosis from their friends or their mothers or even their doctors—so I'm hoping that at least for some teens and tweens, Norah's storyline on Ginny & Georgia can fill in the gaps. And if a hormone disorder is the cause of her period problems, I hope she gets diagnosed faster than I did.
