Britney Spears' ex Kevin Federline to reveal all in 'extremely intimate' book
Titled You Thought You Knew, he promised this will be an 'extremely intimate and transparent' look at his life.
While it's unknown how much the 47-year-old star will be able to share of his life with Britney, 43, he revealed that 'crushing heartbreak' will feature.
The dancer, who was with the pop icon between 2004 and 2007, will drop his book three days before the second anniversary of The Woman In Me.
'I achieved my biggest dreams, dealt with crushing heartbreak, and endured constant ridicule, all while becoming the father my children needed as they experienced nonstop emotional turbulence,' Kevin said.
'If you've ever had questions, you'll find answers here.'
Set for release on October 21, 2025, through a new audio imprint Listenin, the memoir will be one of the platform's first offerings.
Billed as a 'deeply personal and emotionally grounded' account of his life, it's anticipated that he will open up about co-parenting with the Circus hitmaker.
The former couple share sons Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden James, 18, who Britney reunited with in June.
Jayden and Sean both moved in with their father in Hawaii in 2023 and have slowly been repairing their relationship with their mum ever since, including spending an emotional Christmas together last year.
'I haven't seen my boys in 2 years!!! Tears of joy and literally in shock everyday… koo koo crazy so in love and blessed!!!' she praised at the time.
Jaren Hayman, the founder of Barracuda Baby Productions, was thrilled to have worked with Kevin on the project.
Jaren said: 'We're proud to have Kevin as the first of our three books launching with Listenin.
'He spent two years in every tabloid and two decades navigating a volatile, ever-changing reality — choosing silence to protect his kids. That silence left scars.

'Listenin was built for real voices telling real stories, and sharing Kevin's after everything said about him means a lot to us. I am excited for the world to get to meet the real Kevin Federline.'
The October release date may raise some eyebrows in Britney's dedicated fanbase as it mirrors when she released her own bombshell memoir.
Britney, who is one of the best-selling pop stars of all time, described her book as a 'labour of love' after being released from her 13-year conservatorship.
The chart-topping star told People at the time: 'Reliving everything has been exciting, heart-wrenching, and emotional, to say the least. For those reasons, I will only be reading a small part of my audiobook.'
It left no stone unturned with revelations about her time in the spotlight, including her infamous romance with Justin Timberlake from 1999 to 2002. More Trending
She accused him of pressuring her into having an abortion, cheating on her 'multiple' times, and intentionally painting her as the villain in the wake of their high-profile break-up.
Who could forget that Cry Me A River music video with a suspiciously blonde love interest who brutally breaks his heart?
Justin, 43, then hit back at his ex while performing shortly after the memoir was released, saying into the mic between songs, 'I'd like to apologise to…absolutely nobody!'

What she could do with is the unconditional support of her husband, but Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) is hiding a huge secret that he could have helped save Butlers. Perhaps it's because Cain has thrown himself into the surrogacy saga to block out the pain of losing Nate (Jurell Carter), but all it's done is make him forget his own immediate family. Things have not gone smoothly with the surrogacy – with Charity (Emma Atkins) trying to get pregnant with granddaughter Sarah's (Katie Hill) baby. Charity's husband Mack (Lawrence Robb) has only just got on board, but a fall in the woods after the implantation of the embryo saw the dream begin to slip through everyone's fingers when Charity found she was bleeding afterwards. Now they need another embryo transfer to try again, but the cost is astronomical. But who should come through for Sarah with a secret stash of cash? Cain, of course. He has a chunk of money that Moira isn't aware of and wants Sarah to have it for her next attempt. So, while Moira has been battling to keep a roof over her family's head, Cain has been sitting on the pot of cash that could have saved them. Unexpected Betsy drama in Coronation Street scuppers Carla and Lisa's plans
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Carla Connor (Alison King) and Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers)'s relationship is going from strength to strength on Coronation Street – but could Lisa's daughter Betsy (Sydney Martin) be about to derail things for the couple? Carla has been really supportive of Lisa as she's been going through therapy after making a mistake at work. Lisa has been dealing with a lot of emotions over her late wife, Becky, who died in violent circumstances while working as a police officer. Becky was under investigation for corruption when she died, and Lisa has been determined to get to the bottom of what happened to her wife. Lisa started to wonder during therapy that maybe Becky had actually been corrupt and went snooping at work to try to get some answers. Meanwhile Carla had been trying to get to the truth too by going to the prison to meet Logan Radcliffe (Harry Lowbridge) to question him about Becky's death. Logan had some information, but it seemed to point to another dead end as far as Carla could tell – though viewers saw another prisoner threatening Logan later so the information might well hold a vital clue. In the wake of all this, Lisa made a huge decision to remove the wedding ring she usually wore, which was Becky's. She declared her future was with Carla and she was ready to let the past go. One of her first actions to signal that she and Carla are a family was to invite Carla's nephew Ryan (Ryan Prescott) to move in with them, a gesture that Carla found deeply touching. In upcoming episodes Carla and Lisa decide to attend a life drawing class together. Their new hobby is instantly derailed by Betsy getting in touch to say she had a problem. Carla heads for the factory where she finds Betsy distraught over some vest tops she's been making. She's mistakenly printed the wrong logo on every one of them and they're now useless. More Trending Carla seems to spend a lot of her time mopping up after Betsy's various dramas – and she never takes kindly to people messing up at Underworld. Kerry Katona compares herself to Britney Spears after sharing fears for singer
Celebs Go Dating star Kerry Katona was told she looked like Britney Spears during an Instagram live and compared herself to the legendary pop singer Kerry Katona compared herself to Britney Spears during an Instagram Live on Saturday afternoon. The Celebs Go Dating star, 44, has just jetted off abroad with her children for her family holiday, and gave fans a glimpse into her luxury getaway, Opting for a pink two-piece, Kerry lay down on a sofa and while one fan claimed she resembled former Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan, another told her she looked like pop star Britney. In response, Kerry said: "I look like Britney Spears? Am I acting like her as well? I used to get called the British version of Britney Spears." As fans of the pop megastar will know, Britney regained control of her multimillion dollar fortune and various aspects of her life when a conservatorship that had been governed by her immediate family was terminated in November 2021. Since then, she has admitted that she has no plans to return to the music industry but has become known for sharing her sultry snaps to her millions of Instagram followers. It comes after pictures emerged of inside Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash's luxurious £30k family holiday at 'second home'. READ MORE: Kerry Katona 'moves in with new boyfriend' just months after Celebs Go Dating romance Kerry, who shot to fame around the same time as Britney, 43, when she joined the girl group Atomic Kitten in the late 1990s, has previously been vocal about the Baby One More Time songstress. She noted in her new! magazine column: "I think it's awful what's going on with Britney Spears. I wish we wouldn't make people like her fall further after what they've been through. Saying that, she is quite erratic and it's hard to tell what is actually going on. I think she is really struggling." Just months later, Britney went viral when she danced around with knives on Instagram, and Kerry shared her concern for the pop legend then, as she said: "The Instagram videos she's been posting recently are worrying, especially as she did one dancing with knives last month. I'm not one to judge, but it is concerning. I see all these conspiracy theories on TikTok and they make me wonder if it's the real Britney in these videos." Prior to that, Kerry, who has famously made more than £1 million through her profile on OnlyFans, previously suggested to Britney that she should join her in selling her racy snaps on the adults-only platform rather than giving them away for free on social media. Meanwhile, Kerry, who is mother to Molly, 23, and Lilly-Sue, 22, with former Westlife star Brian McFadden, Max, 18, and 17-year-old Heidi with Mark Croft as well as daughter DJ, eight, with the late George Kay, also told her fans of the calamity that ensued once she arrived in the foreign location and was temporarily locked out. She said: "So, gets in the car, gets to the apartment. got no key. I have got no bloody key! What time did we get here, Heidi, about 1? We've just got here and we can have a bloody barbecue!" What's more, the TV favourite also seemed to have forgotten to sort out a hire car for herself, so was left without the inability to stock up on food so had to rely on takeaway delivery services. She added: "I've got no car because I'm a n**head. I am a n**, that's what I am. "So I've done JustEats because we're all exhausted. There's [a little bit] of sun left on the balcony, and our Heidi has took it. So now, I've got to stand in t'bloody shade. But it is really, really nice here. I'm not showing anyone the views or anything though." For Kerry, the family getaway comes just months after she split from former fiance Ryan Mahoney. In an effort to move on from Ryan, Kerry has stepped back out into the dating pool as has grown close to personal trainer Paolo Margaglione. She signed up to Celebs Go Dating in an effort to find her perfect match. However, it seemed the pair may have faced some bumps in the road already after snaps of the pair in Ibiza seemed to show them in a tense exchange. A source claimed that, while they're totally 'smitten' with each other, Kerry is nervous about putting yet another relationship in the public eye. 'Kerry is being very cautious with this romance,' they told the Mirror. 'She has been very wary about going public with Paolo and it impacting their relationship. "She's been down the route of high-profile, public relationships before and she doesn't want anything to ruin things this time.' Kerry and father-of-two Paolo, 33, are thought to have met during the new series of Celebs Go Dating. However, Kerry has remained resolutely tight-lipped on her new relationship. The source added: 'Kerry's worries have caused some tense moments as she doesn't want any exterior drama getting in the way. "But Paolo isn't overthinking it – he's just really happy to be with her. He doesn't see the problem and is telling her not to worry, they're great together and should just enjoy what they've got.'
