Carla Connor (Alison King) and Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers)'s relationship is going from strength to strength on Coronation Street – but could Lisa's daughter Betsy (Sydney Martin) be about to derail things for the couple?
Carla has been really supportive of Lisa as she's been going through therapy after making a mistake at work. Lisa has been dealing with a lot of emotions over her late wife, Becky, who died in violent circumstances while working as a police officer.
Becky was under investigation for corruption when she died, and Lisa has been determined to get to the bottom of what happened to her wife.
Lisa started to wonder during therapy that maybe Becky had actually been corrupt and went snooping at work to try to get some answers.
Meanwhile Carla had been trying to get to the truth too by going to the prison to meet Logan Radcliffe (Harry Lowbridge) to question him about Becky's death.
Logan had some information, but it seemed to point to another dead end as far as Carla could tell – though viewers saw another prisoner threatening Logan later so the information might well hold a vital clue.
In the wake of all this, Lisa made a huge decision to remove the wedding ring she usually wore, which was Becky's. She declared her future was with Carla and she was ready to let the past go.
One of her first actions to signal that she and Carla are a family was to invite Carla's nephew Ryan (Ryan Prescott) to move in with them, a gesture that Carla found deeply touching.
In upcoming episodes Carla and Lisa decide to attend a life drawing class together. Their new hobby is instantly derailed by Betsy getting in touch to say she had a problem.
Carla heads for the factory where she finds Betsy distraught over some vest tops she's been making. She's mistakenly printed the wrong logo on every one of them and they're now useless. More Trending
Carla seems to spend a lot of her time mopping up after Betsy's various dramas – and she never takes kindly to people messing up at Underworld.

But with Lisa's recent kindness towards Ryan in her mind, will Carla take a sympathetic view towards Betsy's latest mistake?
Her approach to Lisa's daughter will definitely be a huge factor in how their relationship progresses from now on.

April dragged into a shocking crime in Emmerdale as she faces grave danger

Dylan Pender's (Fred Kettle) Emmerdale return has seen him bring trouble with him trouble and lies to April Windor's (Amelia Flanagan) door and the upshot is she's put in grave danger. Dylan isn't inherently bad, he's just down on his luck, but has been dragged into working with drug dealer Ray Walters (Joe Absolom), and though while he's trying to extricate himself from his associations with the bad man, Ray has other ideas. Dylan thinks he's getting out, Ray is secretly pulling him back in. And he's got his eye on April too. As April's 16th approaches, it's a big deal but Marlon (Mark Charnock) feels displaced. Dylan is now the flavour of the month for April; she's outgrown her dad. But that's largely because her birthday wish centres around one thing – sleeping with Dylan. She gets her wish, during which Dylan misses a call from Ray. Mandy (Lisa Riley) catches them post-coital and informs on them to Marlon, going directly against the no snitching code of the Dingles – and Marlon is gutted. Rhona (Zoe Henry) helps him see that April needs to be able to make her own choices. It's cringes all round though when April learns that her dad knows she had sex. That will all turn out to be small fry problems when Ray demands that Dylan does another job for him. April finds out about it and realises Dylan has continued to lie. She also realises he is caught up in something very dark. More Trending She gives him permission to go ahead but is hit with a shocker when Dylan reveals it's her Ray wants to complete the job, not him. This was not on her 16th birthday bingo card and April is left terrified but torn as to how to help Dylan. Ray manipulates her into doing the drug drop, and just like that, April is now involved in a dangerous drugs ring. Marlon is oblivious and gives April and Dylan's relationship his blessing. She hugs her dad but is filled with dread as she eyes the backpack full of drugs just over his shoulder. EastEnders confirms return story for popular character but sadness soon follows

EastEnders' Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) is poised to return to Walford this week after an extended break – but she's set to arrive home amid further unhappiness for her mum Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner). Lily was last seen leaving Albert Square to spend time with her biological father Ryan Malloy (Neil McDermott) back in May. Her exit had followed a particularly fraught period in her relationship with Stacey, who'd struggled to step up as a parent amid her grief for her beloved Martin Fowler (James Bye) following his death in the Queen Vic explosion earlier this year. While Stacey has since managed to get her life back on track, fresh drama kicks off just as she is preparing to welcome Lily home. Forthcoming scenes see Stacey's excitement at her daughter's homecoming short-lived when Jean and Freddie Slater (Gillian Wright and Bobby Brazier) reveal that someone leaked her SecretCam pictures and videos online. Fans of the BBC soap will remember that Stacey started making adult content on a subscription platform when she was struggling to make ends meet back in 2023, which also led to her gaining a stalker in the form of creepy teacher Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis). Horrified that the images have now been leaked, Stacey quickly concludes that Joel Marshall (Max Murray) is responsible following his recent behaviour. Last week saw the teenage incel start plotting revenge against Stacey for slapping him after he unleashed a vile rant about her past and Lily's teenage pregnancy. A furious Stacey confronts Joel with her suspicions, but his dad Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) rushes him home, where Joel protests his innocence. A TV insider said: 'Talks are at a point where things could go in a number of different directions but if both celebrities signed up then that would be seen as quite a coup for the show. 'Delta and Natalie would bring some glamour to the programme, and be some of this year's most eagerly anticipated competitors. 'If all three former Neighbours stars end up performing, the Strictly dance floor will end up looking more like Ramsay Street. 'But the next 24 hours of discussions between execs and the stars' reps are critical.' Delta made her name on Neighbours, playing Nina Tucker from 2002 to 2004, with a break when she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. She enjoyed a global hit with the track, Born to Try.
