Country music star Lainey Wilson is engaged to former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges.
Wilson posted photos of the engagement to Instagram, captioning them "4x4xU forever," a reference to one of the songs off her newest album "Whirlwind."

The couple made their debut as a couple at the 2023 ACM Awards. The two sparked rumors shortly before that after Wilson, while in Pittsburgh on Luke Combs' world tour, wore a Hodges jersey. In an interview, Wilson said they had been dating long before that, waiting about two and a half years before going public.
"Duck" was briefly a fan favorite in 2019 when Ben Roethlisberger was injured. Hodges took over for a struggling Mason Rudolph, and Steelers fans rallied behind him. With his quirky nickname, Hodges inspired memes and plenty of Strip District t-shirts during his time in Pittsburgh.
The Steelers released Hodges in 2020 and he was later signed by the Los Angeles Rams in 2021. He went on to play for the Ottawa Redblacks in the Canadian Football League until his retirement in 2022.
Wilson was last in Pittsburgh for her Country's Cool Again Tour last fall. She recently announced her Whirlwind Tour, but a stop in Pittsburgh isn't on the schedule. "Whirlwind" was nominated for best country album at the 2025 Grammys, where she joined Jacob Collier for a tribute to the late Quincy Jones.

Martin nearly died in 2010 when her husband, Jim Martin, stabbed her and shot her in the chest. After surviving the murder attempt, Jim was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Bryson DeChambeau returns to defend U.S. Open title as golf's YouTube king
OAKMONT, Pa. — Bryson DeChambeau returns to the 2025 U.S. Open as the defending champion and golf's YouTube king, at least among the pro ranks. From his 2 million YouTube fans watching him try to "Break 50" with the likes of Donald Trump, various influencers and athletes to joining Johnson Wagner as he tried to reproduce his remarkable bunker shot at 18 at Pinehurst No. 2 during Golf Channel's "Live From," people love DeChambeau's content creation. The latest example was on display at Oakmont, site of this week's 125th U.S. Open, when DeChambeau showed up for a practice round on May 31 and filmed every shot. It was riveting stuff that no other player had done before. 'He's done a heck of a job using social media channels to connect with viewers, connect with golfers, and show his true personality because I think he probably didn't do a great job of that early on in his career,' NBC's Kevin Kisner said. ESPN's Scott Van Pelt took his analysis of DeChambeau's reboot as a YouTube star – he's got nearly 3 million Instagram followers and another 2 million on TikTok, too – one step further. 'I think he's now kind of figured out where he wants to be. He's almost reinvented himself in some ways,' he said. 'He's grown as a human, it seems to me. Last year he came and sat down in the Butler Cabin with me on Thursday and Friday, and he's been sort of this — he's played very different characters in a movie. It's almost like he's been many different versions of himself. 'And when he sat and visited with me last year, I just remarked to a number of people, he just seems like a different guy. He seems more at ease with himself. I don't know if it's the tour he plays, I don't know if it's just part of growing up, which is part of all of our lives, but he seemed comfortable, entirely comfortable with himself.' DeChambeau, 31, finally is becoming comfortable in his own skin, and YouTube has helped him let his guard down, he said, 'showing the fans a side of me that was locked up for so long.' 'What's funny is as much as my guard has been let down, I feel like I'm more strategic in how I deliver things and how I give perspective on things. Before, I was pretty up front and would just say things the way I wanted to whenever I wanted to,' he explained. 'Now it's more strategic in the way I do it and deliver it because I think there's a lot of good that can come from that.' DeChambeau has said he's taken a page out of the playbook of MrBeast, whose viral content are the most-watched videos on YouTube. Asked whether any of his peers have turned to him for advice on how to launch a YouTube channel, DeChambeau highlighted Phil Mickelson. Lefty said he'd always seen what he called the playful, fun, intelligent and interesting side of DeChambeau. 'He's able to showcase that and not have who he is be filtered by a middle person,' Mickelson said. 'He controls what content he puts out there and what he wants to shoot and so forth. So his personality comes out. It's been remarkable to see the evolution of it and the way the public has responded to him because he's always been like that. It just hasn't been able to be noticed, I guess, properly.' In discussing the tips he has passed along to Mickelson, DeChambeau said he reads the comments section and tries to give the people what they want. 'We've grown our channel to over 2 million followers now and couldn't be more thankful, and it's literally by listening to the comments section, by looking at the comments and seeing what they want,' he said. 'All in': Aaron Rodgers, Steelers pledge commitment to one another
PITTSBURGH — In the locker room of the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex, the offseason home of the Pittsburgh Steelers, veterans' names are carved onto wood plaques affixed above their lockers. Most newcomers, on the other hand, have their names written on thick brown paper and tacked to their lockers. The implication is clear: in Pittsburgh, you've got to earn your permanence. Most newcomers … but not all. Advertisement Over in one corner of the locker room, with an empty locker on one side and Pat Freiermuth on the other, sits the locker of Aaron Rodgers, four-time MVP, Super Bowl champion, and Steelers quarterback on a one-year deal. He's only been a Steeler for less than a week, but that wood plaque bearing his name is already there. The implication is clear: Pittsburgh is all in on Rodgers. And Rodgers, in return, says he's all in on this team … even if he's still finding his way around. 'Everything's new, it's like the first day of school,' he said Tuesday after Pittsburgh's first mandatory minicamp practice. 'I don't know a lot of guys' names. They don't have names on the back of the jerseys here. They don't have names on the doors and the media rooms. And I literally walk out of the locker room lost, trying to grab somebody: 'Hey, where am I going?'' Advertisement That question — where is Rodgers going? — vexed much of the NFL, and particularly Pittsburgh fans, for most of the last few months, ever since the Jets severed ties with Rodgers following a failed two-year experiment. Rodgers, in typically elliptical fashion, indicated that the time spent keeping the NFL, and especially the Steelers, waiting was necessary from a personal standpoint. 'A lot of decisions that I've made over my career and life from strictly the ego, even if they turn out well, are always unfulfilling,' he said. 'But the decisions made from the soul are usually pretty fulfilling. So this was a decision that was best for my soul.' Rodgers cryptically hinted that off-field matters kept him from committing to the Steelers any earlier than he did. 'I was dealing with a lot of things in my personal life,' he said. 'Things improved a little bit, where I could be all in here with the guys.' For Rodgers, there was one key factor that swayed him, one individual that pulled him toward Pittsburgh. Advertisement 'It starts with Mike Tomlin. I've been a fan of his for a long time,' he said, adding, 'There are a few iconic franchises. I played for one for 18 years; this is another. It's still early, after all. Everyone's in shorts. And for the moment, Rodgers is in a contemplative mood. 'I just want to have fun. I want to enjoy the game. The game's given me a ton,' he said. 'It's hard to think of anything in my life that's positive that wasn't impacted, directly or indirectly, by playing this game. So I just want to give love back to the game, enjoy it, pass on my knowledge to my teammates, and try and find ways to help lead the team.' Advertisement The team is inclined to let him lead, even if some of the Steelers can't quite believe they're playing with, you know … Aaron Rodgers. 'Him being here for me is a dream come true,' Will Howard — one of those paper-name-plate rookies — said before practice. 'I was nine years old when he won the Super Bowl. At the '05 draft, I was three years old. I've been watching him pretty much my whole life.' 'It's pretty cool,' center Zach Frazier said. 'Myself as a younger kid would be pretty excited about that. I'm excited now.' Frazier added that Rodgers had a message for the team: 'All in, from now on.' (Rodgers, for his part, declined to reveal what he said to his teammates.) A cynic would say that neither side had any other real options — the Steelers haven't won a playoff game since the 2016 season, and Rodgers has struggled to the point of irrelevance in recent years. But this is summertime, when everyone is tied for first place and optimism runs high everywhere. 'I just want to be a servant leader here, and just pass on the knowledge that I have from 20 years of experience,' Rodgers said. 'Just try and fit in with the guys, get to know them, let them get to know me. And just enjoy the process of it.' The wins will come, or they won't. The Steelers will post yet another .500-or-better season, or they won't. It's all up in the air right now for Rodgers and Pittsburgh, but for now, the mutual commitment is there. 'We're excited about him being here. He's excited about being here,' Tomlin said. 'But we won't make any bold predictions. We'll just roll up our sleeves and let the effort do the talking.'
