Finger lickin' could? Fan of Jamie Marinos petitions KFC to have a menu item named after the MAFS star

Daily Mail2 days ago

It appears that Jamie Marinos could be eyeing off a career as a fast food maven.
A fan of the Married At First Sight star has petitioned take away giant KFC to name a menu item after the reality show favourite.
Jamie, 28, took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday to share an image of the direct message exchange, including KFC's surprising reaction.
'Hey KFC because you work with MAFS and Channel 9 I think a Jamie box would sell great,' the fan identified by Jamie as Emily wrote.
The fan added that they knew of Jamie's apparent distaste for bones in her chicken, adding that they were willing to get a petition up and running for a boneless Jamie box.
From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop.
'Talk to her about it, but she hates bones in her chicken, and personally I know at least 400 people that would buy it or sign a petition or buy a boneless Jamie meal.'
The fan seemed to have quite a rare insight into Jamie's preferences when it came to chicken.
They added that the Jamie box would be a success regardless of what items were included, provided the chicken was served sans bones.
'No matter what actual chicken she puts in - ask her, but she loves tenders and popcorn chicken and nuggets,' they said.
'Just charge a bit more cause it's Jamie and I'll pay.'
In a case of serendipitous coincidence, the request did not immediately fall on deaf ears, as they person who received the message bore the same name as the reality star.
'As my name is Jamie, I would also love this box,' the KFC customer service representative replied.
It appears that the concept might have some legs, with KFC Jamie telling the fan that she had passed the request up the food chain.
'Hey KFC because you work with MAFS and Channel 9 I think a Jamie box would sell great,' the fan, identified by Jamie in an Instagram post as Emily, wrote.
'No news yet, however I have passed this onto marketing so, stay tuned.'
Captioning the image Jamie wrote: 'This was sent to me by a baddie named Emily.
'This is why I love y'all. You guys are out there trying to get KFC boxes named after me, she added, augmenting the sentiment with a heart hands emoji.
Jamie's potential shift into the world of take away chook, comes after she revealed the surprising way she eats sausages.
In an Instagram Stories post on Wednesday, the Married At First Sight bride confessed that she cannot eat the ends.
'I refuse to eat the end of sausages' she said alongside an image of a bunch of pieces left on her plate and said it was a 'strange fact' about her.
In a second post, Jamie said that she was inundated with messages from people who agreed.
'I stand corrected there is a whole a** community of us who refuse to eat ends of sausages' she wrote.
Jamie was also recently forced to set the record straight after fans started speculating she might be pregnant.
The 29-year-old reality star sparked baby rumours over the weekend after appearing in a gallery of snaps from Voir Vodka dinner at Bar Bambi in Melbourne, which she attended alongside her co-stars Eliot Donovan and Teejay Halkias.
The images, shared by @mafsgossip, included a shot of Jamie posing with Eliot - who she has been romantically linked to in recent months - wearing a sleek all-black outfit which seemed to hint at a small bump.
'Is it me or does Jaime look like she's got a bump?' one fan commented, while another added, 'Just don't know if it's a baby bump or photo-shopped to look like it. But 100% it's a bump!'
But Jamie wasted no time shutting down the speculation, jumping into the comments to address the chatter directly.
'I'm going to blame the lighting on that, because it does and I can assure you there's no bump,' she wrote, adding a laughing emoji.

Channel 4's Virgin Island hit with bizarre ‘unheard of' sex BAN as series two gets green light

VIRGIN Island was all about helping 12 innocents pop their cherries on TV, but I can reveal that those behind the scenes faced a sex BAN. The crew, including therapists Danielle Harel, Celeste Hirschman and the experts tasked with helping the cast let loose, were all under strict rules not to get any thrills of their own. 4 A source said: 'Location shoots like this are usually a hotbed for hook-ups. "But Virgin Island was no fun for anyone except the virgins. 'Production wanted to make them feel comfortable and unintimidated. "This sort of crew sex ban is unheard of in the TV world, but is very responsible of Channel 4.' A second series has been ordered after the show became the broadcaster's biggest launch this year, averaging 1.4million viewers an episode and notching up 9million streams. Virgin Island star reveals if he's had sex since the show and what happened after cameras stopped rolling GORKA: JAMES IS MY GUY 4 AS a pro dancer on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, Gorka Marquez has been paired with top names including Helen Skelton, Alexandra Burke and Katie McGlynn. But which other famous faces does he dream of taking to the ballroom floor with? Speaking at a Soccer Aid training day last week, Gorka said: 'I always say James Corden would be amazing because he comes from musical theatre. 'And he just moved back to the UK again. He can sing, he can move, I think he'd be amazing. 'I was having breakfast with Sir Mo Farah and I was telling him he'd be amazing on the show. 'But anybody who wants to do Strictly and loves dancing would be perfect. OLIVIA'S PERFECT RETURN 4 OLIVIA ATTWOOD returned for a second series of ITV2 documentary The Price Of Perfection last week – and it's already proving a big success with viewers. Figures reveal that the show – which sees Olivia look into cosmetic procedures and mummy makeovers – achieved its highest ever overnight audience, peaking at 349,000 viewers. So it is expected to hit the same heights as the first series, which reached nearly 8million streams. Olivia's total views already stands at almost 40million across this format and her previous three series, Getting Filthy Rich, Bad Boyfriends and Olivia Attwood Vs The Trolls. The Price Of Perfection is available to stream on ITVX. 4 THEY are two of the longest-running sitcoms on the BBC – and they show no signs of slowing down just yet – but their creators are already cooking up endings. When discussing what was to come in the future, Mrs Brown's Boys' Brendan O'Carroll and Not Going Out's Lee Mack admitted they have very different ideas of how they would wrap things up. Brendan revealed: 'I'd have the audience peeing themselves with laughter for 25 minutes and then crying their eyes out for the final five.' But Lee Mack, who co-writes and stars in his series alongside Sally Bretton and Hugh Dennis, responded: 'I'd do it the other way around!' Brendan's comedy about potty-mouthed Irish Mammy Agnes Brown launched in 2011, while Lee's show featuring him and co-star Sally as husband and wife Lee and Lucy first aired back in 2006. ACTRESS JOANNA VANDERHAM says she found her role as Diana Mosley in UKTV's Outrageous harrowing. Diana, one of the Mitford sisters, married fascist Oswald Mosley, with Hitler as a wedding guest. She said: 'Certain lines of hers I found difficult. Her thoughts were so scary.' SQUID Game's third and final series lands on Netflix on June 27, but director Hwang Dong-Hyuk says the team struggled to come up with new sick games for it. At a preview screening in London he said he felt 'relief and sadness' to close the show after dedicating six years of his life to it.

Love Island couple on the rocks as hunk ‘makes dig at girl's self respect' after steamy sex revelation

A LOVE Island couple is on the rocks after a show hunk 'made a dig at a villa girl's self respect' following a steamy sex revelation. Fans previously called for Harry Cooskley to be axed after a series of derogatory comments about Helena, whom he's coupled up with. 4 In scenes set to air tonight, the girls reflect on watching the lads meet three new bombshells. Helena tells the others: 'My man basically saying I'm a massive red flag because of something I've done in the past and I'm a big party girl…?' To which Alima replies: 'Double standards', as Meg remarks: "You don't know any of us it's rude.' Helena adds: 'I'm raging about the disrespect.' Meanwhile, the boys' one-on-one dates with the bombshells start playing on the big screen - with the villa girls again having a front row view. Away from the other boys, Harry tells bombshell Yasmin what he's looking for. He reveals: 'The main thing is ambition; someone that wants a family, I'm 30 and ready for it, I've got my s*** together.' Things become even more tense when Harry remarks about Shikira: 'Potentially there's unfinished business, I think she knows that as well, it's just not the right time. "She has pride, she's only 22 but she's ahead of her years and has a lot of self respect.' While Helena says: 'That was a dig saying she's got self respect.' Yasmin asks Harry: 'Are you open to getting to know other people or do you like what you've got with Helena?' But will Harry focus on his bond with Helena or has the newcomer turned his head? Viewers previously saw Helena admit that she had a threesome with two men. Outside of the villa, Harry told the other boys about this, saying: 'For me, with Helena, it's like, I don't know if she's just a good time girl. Like, as I know, the more I'm getting to know her, like… 'I'm having a good time, but I wanna have a long time. 'What I'm learning about her lifestyle, and like, what she does, like, she goes out a lot. We had the conversations - you were all there. She had a threesome. 'I don't think that really worries me. Because like, I can guarantee I've done worse, sort of thing. But I think it did surprise me a little bit. 'It's not I wanted to take a step back or anything. It was just more like, okay, I need to learn more, just to figure out what she's gonna really be like.' Back in the villa, Helena raged: 'F**k me. Oh, my dirty laundry, is it?' Love Island 2025 full lineup Harry Cooksley: A 30-year-old footballer with charm to spare. Sophie Lee: A model and motivational speaker who has overcome adversity after suffering life-changing burns in an accident. Shakira Khan: A 22-year-old Manchester-based model, ready to turn heads. Blu Chegini: A boxer with striking model looks, seeking love in the villa. Megan Moore: A payroll specialist from Southampton, looking for someone tall and stylish. Alima Gagigo: International business graduate with brains and ambition. Tommy Bradley: A gym enthusiast with a big heart. Helena Ford: A Londoner with celebrity connections, aiming to find someone funny or Northern. Ben Holbrough: A model ready to make waves. Megan Clarke: An Irish actress already drawing comparisons to Maura Higgins. Dejon Noel-Williams: A personal trainer and semi-pro footballer, following in his footballer father's footsteps. Aaron Buckett: A towering 6'5' personal trainer. Conor Phillips: A 25-year-old Irish rugby pro Antonia Laites: Love Island's first bombshell revealed as sexy Las Vegas pool party waitress. Rose Selway: Beauty salon owner from Devon who runs 12 aesthetics clinics, boasting a famous clientele including former Love Islanders Departures: Harry continued: 'But if she's still there, if she's still in that phase of her life where it's like, she wants to have a good time, then it might not be the right time for me and her.' The conversation came just a day after the pair snuck off to the Hideaway together to spend the night. Helena also chose to recouple with Harry - despite him expressing an interest in Shikira still. 4

A new Traitors series, and Yungblud's new album: What's coming up this week

Are you missing the drama of The Traitors? Fear not because the New Zealand version drops on BBC Three and iPlayer on that's not all the next seven days have in new album is out, 28 Years Later is released in UK cinemas, gaming fans have Date Everything to look forward to, and Benson Boone is also dropping a new on for what's coming up this week... Your next Traitors fix This Monday, we're gearing up to watch 22 New Zealanders lie, cheat and betray their way to winning up to $100,000 (£44,000).That's right, it's time for series two of The Traitors NZ, filmed at Claremont Manor at the foot of Mount Horrible (no, really). As with the British version, the show is a study in human nature, as alliances form early on, and suspicions run series already aired in NZ, with the New Zealand Herald saying it could be 'the reality TV hit of the year'.But one thing it doesn't have is Claudia Winkleman and her epic it's hosted by New Zealand broadcaster Paul Henry. Don't worry, his outfits are just as fabulous. Yungblud's shackles are off Yungblud, the chart-topping singer who set up his own festival, is dropping his new album Idols on Friday.I was lucky enough to see him at a party in central London recently, where I got a sneak preview of the new album - a blend of his signature pop-punk and emotional 27-year-old artist - whose real name is Dominic Richard Harrison - was there alongside Florence Pugh, who stars in the music video for one of his new songs, said the new record, made in the north of England with his best mates, was his "most ambitious and exciting music to date".Yungblud is known for his committed young fanbase and, with his new album, he's said he wants to make that community even back to the sounds of Queen and David Bowie, he told my colleague Mark Savage that it would "reclaim the good chords" (Asus4 and Em7, in case you're wondering). "The shackles are off," he said. 28 Years Later hits cinemas By Alex Taylor, culture reporter Batten down the hatches and don't make a sound - this week sees director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland unleash 28 Years a long-awaited return for the UK-based zombie horror series that first infected audiences in 2002 with 28 Days protagonist, 12-year-old Spike (Alfie Williams), lives with his parents Jamie (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Isla (Jodie Comer). He's only ever known life on an island connected to the quarantined British mainland by a single, heavily defended causeway.I've seen a sneak preview, and while I can't say much, the trademark realism and unrelenting tension persists. Fans of The Last of Us will love for those fan theories sparked by the trailer? Despite speculation that Cillian Murphy appears as a zombie, Boyle has confirmed to IGN that the Oscar-winner, who made his name in the original film, will only reprise his role as Jim in the next instalment - already shot and due for release next year. Objects of affection By Tom Richardson, Newsbeat reporter It is perhaps not so surprising that a video game created by two veteran voice actors opens with the main character at risk of losing their job to where Date Everything! goes next is somewhat more don a pair of high-tech glasses called "Dateviators" that turn household objects including fridges, doors and lamps into potential love Robbie Daymond (Critical Role) and Ray Chase (X-Men '97, Jujutsu Kaisen) obviously raided their contact books, as each item is brought to life in the form of a human cartoon avatar created by a star from the worlds of gaming and a bit of fortuitous timing, this celebration of their craft arrives on consoles and PCs from Tuesday, just days after a months-long video game acting strike was suspended. Flip out over Benson Boone's new album By Mark Savage, music correspondent King of the backflip Benson Boone had the most-streamed track in the world last year with Beautiful Things - earning enough money to buy his first house - but now he's ready to move on."I'm getting to the point where I just want people to know that there's more than just that song," he told Rolling Stone earlier this results have been mixed. His comeback single Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else, a propulsive new wave anthem, peaked at number 20 in the UK charts, while Beautiful Things still continued to remain stubbornly lodged in the top his new album, American Heart, is worth your attention. The title track is a widescreen anthem about a near-fatal car accident he got into as a teenager; Mr Electric Blue is a spirited tribute to his dad (featuring the lyric, "Watch the way you talk to me/If you want to keep your two front teeth"); and the second single Mystical Magical features a falsetto so ridiculous its almost the sounds of Queen and Elton John for the TikTok generation, it's efficient and catchy – though I'd avoid the saccharine Momma Song if you have an aversion to schmaltz. Other highlights this week Untold Legends: Hedy Lamarr drops on the BBC World Service on MondayGianni Versace Retrospective opens at Arches London Bridge on MondaySupersonic, a documentary about Oasis, is re-released in a limited number of cinemas on MondayRoyal Academy Summer Exhibition opens on TuesdayDallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, series two, drops on Netflix on WednesdaySheffield DocFest starts on WednesdayHeston: My Life with Bipolar is released on BBC Two and iPlayer on ThursdayThe Isle of Wight Festival starts on ThursdayHaim's new album, I Quit, drops on FridayGrenfell: Uncovered is released on Netflix on Friday
