Don't mind spending a bit more to get the latest OnePlus Pad 3? With its incredibly powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, this is a solid iPad Pro rival. The tablet sells at its standard price, but you can get it with a free gift worth up to $199.99. Buy at OnePlus
In other words, you can buy the $549.99 Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered tablet for $449.99. All you have to do is apply coupon code "HOTSUMMER" at checkout, and the $100 discount will be applied automatically. So, if you're looking for a solid Android slate at a relatively affordable price, this one's definitely worth a look.Don't mind spending a bit more for the latest OnePlus tablet? This one is still at its standard $699.99 price, but it comes with a free gift worth up to $199.99. You can choose between the OnePlus Pad 3-compatible smart keyboard ($199.99), pen ($99.99), or folio case ($44.99) at no extra cost.
While the newer model brings several key upgrades, the OnePlus Pad 2 is still a solid pick for Android fans. First off, it's quite powerful thanks to its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. On top of that, it offers a fantastic visual experience with its 12.1-inch 7:5 display, which sports a sharp 303 ppi pixel density and a smooth refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Couple that with six speakers and a 9,510mAh battery, and you've got a seriously good Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ alternative. Sure, as we've shown in our OnePlus Pad 2 review's battery life measurements, this bad boy might not be the best choice for all-day binge-watching, but it holds up well for casual use, browsing, or gaming.
Bottom line: as you can see, the OnePlus Pad 2 still delivers excellent value. If you've missed previous discounts or don't want to spend more to get the newer model, now's the time to save! Head to the OnePlus Store and grab this deal before the promo code expires. Switch to Total Wireless and buy 2 months of a 5G Unlimited plan to score the phone free!

AI Mode turns Google Search into a real-time learning assistant

Google is expanding what AI Mode in Search can do, just in time for the back-to-school season. With several new features now live or coming soon, students, educators, and curious minds have more ways to process, stay organized, and learn in real time. Here's a quick rundown of what's new: You will now be able to ask questions about images and PDFs directly from desktop browsers. This builds on the existing mobile feature that lets users ask AI Mode about images. Additionally, desktop users will soon be able to upload PDF files and get contextual answers, which could be helpful for analyzing class materials, like lecture slides or reading assignments. In addition to looking at what's in your file. AI Mode will cross-reference the content with information from across the web, providing citations and links to dig deeper. Google also plans to expand this feature to support additional formats, including Google Drive files. AI Mode will facilitate asking questions about images and PDFs directly from the browser. | Video credit — Google Canvas will allow users to build dynamic plans and organize research over time. If you're working on a big test or project, you can start a Canvas session with AI Mode and gradually refine it. Canvas saves your inputs and lets you return to your plan whenever you want. In upcoming updates, Canvas will also support file uploads, which means you'll be able to feed in notes, syllabi, or even images to better customize your plans. Google is also bringing its Search Live feature to AI Mode. It uses your phone's camera to let you have real-time conversations with Search, powered by Project Astra. Just point your camera at an object or situation, and Search Live can talk you through it. Soon, Chrome users will begin to see a new option called "Ask Google about this page" in the address bar. This integrates Lens with AI Mode to analyze what's on your screen, whether it's a diagram in a PDF or a chart on a website. It can break down visual elements and offer helpful summaries or allow follow-up questions right from the browser. Instead of just pointing to websites, AI Mode helps unpack the content you're exploring. While these new features are currently limited to U.S. users aged 18 and over in Labs, they hint at where the company is headed. It also positions Google to compete more directly with other popular AI tools (such as ChatGPT and Perplexity), which already serve as standalone AI tutoring tools. Whether or not this evolution of AI Mode matches what students and teachers actually need in the long term remains to be seen, but the intent is clearly to simplify the journey to make it as easy as possible to use the tools available.

Tipster reveals when the Google Pixel 10 Pro will go on sale

Peter, 30 July 2025 Last week, Google revealed the designs of all four Pixel 10-series phones and the week before that it had already confirmed that the new series will be unveiled on August 20. That's the unveiling, but when will they be available for purchase? We were contacted by someone who works at a phone shop, claiming to have seen documents that state that the Google Pixel 10 Pro sale will go live on August 20. This might apply to the entire 10-series, though it might not – last year Google launched the vanilla and Pro XL models in August, then the small Pro and the Pro Fold in September. Given that the tip was specifically for the 10 Pro, we don't think that the 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL will be split this time around. Whether the Pro Fold is ready in time is another question. We can't verify the claims of our tipster, but the information is not surprising either. Note that the August 20 date most likely refers to the start of pre-orders - Google should begin shipping pre-orders and kick off open sales of the new models several days after that. The Google Pixel 10 series Looking back at the 9-series, it was unveiled on August 13 and pre-orders for the vanilla and Pro XL models started immediately after the event. Shipping and open sales for those two started on August 22. Deliveries of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold were set for September 4 and open sales began the day after. If the Pixel 10 series follows the same timeline, pre-orders will start on August 20 and the first models will be shipping by the end of the month. Nine days later is August 29, a Friday. There's a good chance that the upcoming Google Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a will follow the same timeline as the Pixel phones. For a preview of what to expect from the Pixel 10 quartet, check out this leak. Thank you to our anonymous tipster!
