The actor will enter the famous ballroom when Strictly returns to BBC One and BBC iPlayer this September

Neighbours star Stefan Dennis has joined the 2025 line-up of Strictly Come Dancing. The Paul Robinson actor was announced as the 12th celebrity joining the new series of the BBC show.
Known for playing the soap icon for 40 years until its final cancellation by Amazon earlier this year, Stefan said: "I'm very very excited to be doing something completely out of my comfort zone," adding that his wife, Gail, has been trying to teach him. My gorgeous wife is a professional dancer, she's been trying to teach me.
"I have become more and more aware of that as the journey goes on. Every day I'm more aware of how huge it is."
The multi-award-winning entertainment show, produced by BBC Studios, will return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer for its new series this September.
Stefan is an actor best known for playing Paul Robinson in Neighbours, the longest running drama series in Australian television history.
He created the role for the first episode in 1985 and appeared in over 6,000 episodes during the 40 years that the show was on air.

Prior to joining Neighbours, Stefan worked extensively on Australian television with numerous roles on shows including Prisoner, The Henderson Kids, The Sullivans, Young Doctors and Sons and Daughters, to name a few.
In the UK he has also appeared in The Bill, Dream Team, River City and Casualty as well as starring in the West End musical Blood Brothers. On joining Strictly Come Dancing, Stefan Dennis says: 'This is an opportunity for me to once again learn to step out of my comfort zone in the world of television. Looking forward to the sparkle and reaching for the sky.'
Earlier in Thursday's This Morning episode TV presenter and podcaster Vicky Pattison was revealed as the 11th new amatuer dancer for the 21st series of Strictly.
The former Geordie Shore star said she was a "drinker not a dancer" but was "buzzing and dead" excited about joining the BBC show.
The 37-year-old star also said she was "terrified" when discussing her new adventure with This Morning hosts, Craig Doyle and Emma Willis. Find out everything Vicky has said so far about joining Strictly.

So far the 2025 Strictly Come Dancing line-up includes Harry Aikines-Aryeetey aka Nitro on Gladiators, Dani Dyer, Alex Kingston, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Balvinder Sopal and Youtuber George Clarke.
La Voix and Chris Robshaw were revealed as the seventh and eighth stars joining the Strictly line-up during Scott Mills' BBC Radio 2 Show on Wednesday. Also, trailblazing model and actress, Ellie Goldstein participation in the show was also announced.

Leonard And Hungry Paul, produced by Subotica, is based on the award-winning, best-selling novel of the same name by Rónán Hession and has been adapted for BBC One Northern Ireland, BBC Two and BBC iPlayer by writers Richie Conroy and Mark Hodkinson. TV personality Narinder Kaur has criticised the BBC's decision to cast Thomas Skinner as a celebrity contestant on Strictly Come Dancing. Skinner recently met US vice president JD Vance for a barbecue and drinks, and befriended US President Donald Trump's number two on social media platform X. He recently claimed he had received 'death threats' and 'vile comments about my children', following a series of social media posts claiming 'something's gone wrong' in the UK, and saying 'there is nothing wrong with being proud of where you're from'. In other posts, which drew criticism from some of his followers, Skinner said it is 'not far-right' to be 'flying your flag and loving your country', and he complained 'it ain't safe out there anymore' in London, saying the city is 'hostile' and 'tense'. It comes as Kaur claimed she was told she was 'too controversial' for the show herself. In the caption of a video posted to X, Jeremy Vine panellist and former Big Brother star Kaur, 52, said: 'Apparently I was deemed too controversial for @bbcstrictly because they only hire quiet brown and black women that fit in a box. 'But you can be a white man AND be controversial and you'll be hired on the spot! Hello Thomas Skinner!!' In a statement, she added: 'There's only so much you can say in a short video, but I felt something many others have been feeling all day and that was complete shock and utter bewilderment – to see Thomas be announced in the line-up, considering all the rhetoric about how people with right-wing opinions are cancelled and not allowed on the BBC.
