Sinclair, Martin, Guay among inductees to Canada's Sports Hall of Fame in 2025
Wheelchair racer Michelle Stilwell and softball player Darren Zack will join them in the athlete category, while NHL coach Ted Nolan and sport leader Martha Billes will enter as builders.
The class of 2025 will receive the Order of Sport at an induction gala Oct. 29 at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Que.
The Sports Hall of Fame has inducted over 750 Canadians, including three horses, since opening 70 years ago.
Last year's inductees included hockey player Vicki Sunohara, tennis player Daniel Nestor and figure skater Patrick Chan.
Canadians are encouraged to nominate people for the Hall of Fame. A selection committee reviews submissions and votes to recommend inductees to the Hall's board of governors.

Investigators believe Shane Tamura, 27, of Las Vegas, was trying to get to the NFL offices after shooting several people in the building's lobby, then another in a 33rd-floor office on Monday, before he killed himself, authorities said. Police said Tamura had a history of mental illness, and a rambling note found on his body suggested that he had a grievance against the NFL over a claim that he suffered from chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a degenerative brain disease that can be diagnosed only by examining the brain after a person dies. The Chicago Cubs will honor Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg on Saturday. The entire team will wear blue jerseys with Sandberg's No. 23 on them, and no last names. The Cubs will continue to honor him for the rest of the season, wearing a No. 23 patch on the left shoulder of the into the Hall of Fame in 2005, Sandberg spent 15 of his 16 seasons in his MLB career with the Cubs. He would go on to be an All-Star for 10 consecutive seasons (1984-93), a nine-time Gold Glove winner and a seven-time Silver 1984, he won the National League MVP, leading the Cubs to a 96-65 record and an appearance in the NL Championship Series. That season he posted a .314 batting average, 19 home runs and 84 RBIs. He won his second Gold Glove and first Silver Slugger that year as well. He led the NL in runs (114), triples (19), was second in hits (200) and third in doubles (36). Sandberg had his number retired by the Cubs in 2005 and was honored with a statue in October 2024.
