Subway has a new footlong menu item with Doritos: What it is, how to get one for free
If you've ever wanted to eat a footlong's worth of nachos, now is your chance.
Subway and Doritos have teamed up to introduce the Doritos Footlong Nachos, available now at Subway restaurants nationwide for a limited time while supplies last for $5.
The nachos are prepared to order and feature classic Doritos Nacho Cheese flavored chips, cheddar cheese sauce and shredded Monterey cheddar cheese, and topped with spicy jalapeño slices, diced tomatoes and red onions, and finished with a zesty Baja Chipotle sauce.
Customers can also add rotisserie-style chicken or steak at no extra cost, as well as a scoop of smashed avocado for an extra charge.
"Subway's newest partnership takes everything our fans love about Subway sandwiches – from quality veggies, proteins and tasty toppings – to the next level with the cheesy flavor and iconic crunch of Doritos," said Paul Fabre, Senior Vice President, Culinary and Innovation at Subway, in a news release Thursday.
How to get free Doritos Footlong Nachos April 10
To celebrate the new item, Subway is giving customers a chance to try all three varieties of Doritos Footlong Nachos for free.
On Thursday, April 10, Subway MVP Rewards members can unlock a special offer – one free Doritos Footlong Nachos with the purchase of any footlong sub.
"The offer will drop in all Subway MVP Rewards accounts on April 10 and will be available the entire day to redeem via the Subway app, Subway.com or in-restaurant using the phone number associated with the account," the sandwich chain said in a news release.

'Ne Zha 2' is one of the biggest movies of all time. Here's what you need to know.
If you're American, it's likely that you haven't yet heard of "Ne Zha II." Michelle Yeoh is ready to change that. The Hollywood icon, who won the best actress Oscar for 2022's "Everything Everywhere All at Once," has lent her voice to an English-language dub of the Chinese animated phenomenon. Based on a centuries-old Chinese legend, the movie is a follow-up to 2019's "Ne Zha," which made more than $700 million worldwide. Is 'Ne Zha 2' in English? Although the original 'Ne Zha II' was in Mandarin, the version that is being released in America will be in English. Yeoh ('Crazy Rich Asians') leads the English-language cast as Ne Zha's fiercely loving mother, Lady Yin, while Vincent Rodriguez III ('Crazy Ex-Girlfriend') plays his dad, Li Jing. Meanwhile, Crystal Lee ('Marvel Rivals') voices the role of the unstoppable Ne Zha. How much has 'Ne Zha 2' made at the box office? Hayley McNeff, bodybuilding champ, dies at 37: 'Bright light has left this world'
Hayley McNeff, a prominent bodybuilder during the mid-2000s, has died unexpectedly. She was 37. McNeff died last Friday, Aug. 8, and her funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 16, according to her obituary. A Massachusetts native, McNeff won several bodybuilding titles throughout her career, including the 2009 East Coast Classic and 2009 NPC Delaware State, according to bodybuilding website RXMuscle. "Such a bright light has left this world too soon," her obituary states. It goes on to say, "Hayley was known for her quick wit and constant sense of humor, she had a gift for making those around her laugh and feel welcomed. Her energy and determination was a constant in her life and she always accomplished what she set out to achieve. She treasured her friendships and nurtured strong, lasting relationships with those who knew her best. Hayley will be deeply missed by her parents, siblings, extended family and friends." After winning the 2009 NPC Delaware State and 2009 East Coast Classic, McNeff was cast on the reality television show "Iron Maidens," which was pitched to follow a group of prominent female bodybuilders. However, the series never aired. McNeff attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts. See Tom Cruise defy death in exclusive 'Mission: Impossible' deleted scene
Tom Cruise's daredevil "Mission: Impossible" stunts are so cool, it's hard to believe that anything gets left on the cutting-room floor. But editing is important to the filmmaking process, and director Christopher McQuarrie had hard decisions to make in crafting "Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning" (available to buy Aug. 19 on digital platforms). One of the biggest moments in the action adventure is a dizzying sequence involving Cruise's superspy Ethan Hunt and a harrowing biplane chase, and USA TODAY is exclusively premiering a nifty aerial scene deleted from the film. Near the end of this eighth "Mission" installment, Ethan is in airborne pursuit of villainous Gabriel (Esai Morales), and has to navigate – in death-defying manner – going from his biplane to Gabriel's mid-air. McQuarrie filmed 400 hours of footage that ended up being distilled down to a mere 15 minutes. Join our Watch Party! It's the first of a two-part stunt where Ethan tries to climb onto Gabriel's plane, our hero's foot hits the control stick, and the plane goes into a nasty roll where Ethan is hanging out of the thing precariously before getting his bearings back. McQuarrie's film editor, Eddie Hamilton, kept telling him it was "redundant," though the director "of course resisted that," McQuarrie says. But "it could go and so it went." In addition to an array of deleted scenes, the "Final Reckoning" digital release includes a bunch of bonus features that dig into Cruise's stunt work, including notching a Guinness World Record for most burning parachute jumps by an individual.
