Maxton Hall Season 2 OTT Release Date: When and where to watch Harriet Herbig-Matten & Damian Hardung's series

Time of India08-06-2025
Maxton Hall Season 2 OTT Release Date: If you're still recovering from the emotional rollercoaster that Maxton Hall: The World Between Us Season 1 threw you into, buckle up because Season 2 is officially dropping on November 7, 2025, on Amazon Prime Video. The high-drama, high-society, teen-romance saga is back, and it promises even more secrets, heartbreaks, and confrontations that'll keep your heart racing.
Let's rewind a bit. The first season, based on Mona Kasten's bestselling novel Save Me, became a breakout sensation when it premiered in May 2024. Within days, it shot up the streaming charts and went viral not just in Germany, but across 120 countries. It was moody, romantic, a bit scandalous, and, most importantly, addictive.
Maxton Hall's plot thickens in Season 2
At the centre of it all were Ruby Bell and James Beaufort, two people from completely different worlds, brought together by fate, ambition, and a chemistry that sizzled through the screen. Maxton Hall Season 2 picks up right where we left off: after that fateful, passionate night in Oxford. Ruby is riding high and she's cracked her interview and her dreams of going to Oxford are now within reach.
For once, things seem to be going her way. But then, tragedy strikes. James' mother dies unexpectedly, and everything changes. Overwhelmed with grief and guilt, James spirals. He pulls away from Ruby, drowns himself in distractions, and begins making one destructive decision after another. Ruby, understandably heartbroken, tries to focus on her future, but it's not that simple.
James might be pushing her away, but their bond is hard to forget. She finds herself torn between the promise of a new life and the wreckage of the relationship she left behind. Meanwhile, James is battling demons of his own - family pressure, guilt, grief, and a growing realisation that he might've just lost the best thing that ever happened to him. If Season 1 was about attraction and connection, Maxton Hall Season 2 is about trust, loss, second chances, and growing up the hard way.
The faces you know and love are back
Harriet Herbig-Matten returns as the smart, headstrong Ruby Bell, while Damian Hardung reprises his role as the emotionally complex James Beaufort. Joining them again are Sonja Weißer as Ruby's confident sister Lydia, Ben Felipe as the stylish Cyril, and Fedja van Huêt as the enigmatic Mortimer Beaufort.
The ensemble cast also includes Justus Riesner, Andrea Guo, Eli Riccardi, Runa Greiner, and Frederic Balonier. Martin Schreier and Tarek Roehlinger, who co-directed the first season, are back in the director's chair. The writing team is led by head writer Ceylan Yildirim, and the production remains under UFA Fiction, with Markus Brunnemann and Valentin Debler producing alongside Juliana Lima Dehne and Marlene Melchior.

‘Bhaukaal Se Pehle…': Did Divyenndu Hint At An Update On Mirzapur: The Film? Check It Out

Divyenndu hints at exciting news about Mirzapur: The Film, sparking buzz among fans eager for updates on the next big chapter of the hit series. Prime Video's flagship show, Mirzapur, became one of the groundbreaking series in India, and the love for the franchise grew so much that the makers confirmed a standalone film. After three blockbuster seasons, the makers announced Mirzapur: The Film is officially in the works. While it's been a while since there has been any update about the movie, it looks like Divyenndu, aka Munna Bhaiya, has given an update. Starring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and Divyenndu in their now-iconic roles of Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu, and Munna, the show becomes the first-ever Indian OTT show to get a film adaptation. As fans waited with bated breath to watch the gripping drama, Divyenndu took to his Instagram and shared a series of pictures sitting in front of a beautiful hut and in the midst of a calming surrounding, but it's the caption that hinted at something big. Divyenndu's Instagram Post While sharing the pictures, Divyenndu wrote, 'BHAUKAAL se pehle ki SHANTI." For those who are unaware, Divyenndu's character of Munna Bhaiya in Mirzapur often used the word 'Bhaukaal" while speaking, which means this could be a hint that the actor is starting the shoot of the film soon. This caption didn't go unnoticed by eagle-eyed netizens who started speculating. One wrote, 'Bhaukaal hone wala hai 💀." 'Munna Bhaiya is back," another one wrote. A third fan shared, 'Jalwa h apka🔥." About Mirzapur: The Film The news of Mirzapur: The Film has come after the show completed three seasons. The Amazon Prime Video series streamed its first season in 2018 and became a rage instantly. The series returned for the second season during the pandemic. The third season was released with much fanfare earlier this year. Speaking about taking the series to the big screen, producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar of Excel Entertainment said, 'It is a landmark milestone for us to bring the quintessential Mirzapur experience to our audiences, yet again, but this time on the big screen. Throughout three successful seasons, this acclaimed franchise has struck all the right chords with fans through its powerful storytelling and memorable characters, from the likes of Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu Bhaiya, and Munna Bhaiya, to name a few. We believe that adapting such a treasured series into a film will undoubtedly make for an even more engrossing watch, allowing audiences to immerse themselves in the world of Mirzapur like never before. We are stoked to collaborate with Prime Video, once again, and look forward to delivering a grand cinematic experience, which will truly live up to the expectations of our dedicated fanbase." CORTIS Ignites Gen Z Sparks: Fresh K-Pop Crew Drops Hip-Hop Fire with Unstoppable Teen Vibes!

CORTIS Blasting Off: 'GO!' Fires Up with Street Rap Punch and Unbridled Energy Picture this: a debut that slams like an epic rap clash on buzzing city streets - that's CORTIS, the five-member powerhouse from Big Hit Music, unleashing their pre-release music video for 'GO!' right at midnight KST on August 11, 2025. It kicks off with the fourth member's smooth bars: "We don't need another sign. Paint the town with green lights. Foot on the pedal like a bike. I just gotta get it, watch me go," cranking up the drive without any over-the-top bells and whistles. Skipping flashy melodies, the song thrives on stripped-down trap beats punched with sharp synth hits, evoking the vibe of a spontaneous jam that's bursting with raw vitality. The lineup - Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho - each grabs the mic with their distinct flows and vibes, weaving a high-speed surge that perfectly captures the track's bold, forward-pushing essence. Shot across lively Los Angeles spots, the video dives into real-deal fun like charging through splashing car washes, wild runs with a 360-camera clamped in teeth, and snappy stop-motion tricks that amp up the hip-hop freedom. It's the sort of high-energy hit that makes you want to hit play on repeat, feeling that unstoppable rush like cruising through chaotic traffic with zero cares - a total mood booster with its carefree, youthful punch that keeps the adrenaline flowing non-stop. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 30 Captivating Portraits of Women from 80–100 Years Ago Undo Legacy Remix: Hip-Hop Foundations Meet Gen Z Playfulness, Channeling BTS Roots CORTIS isn't just dropping in fresh; they're accelerating from Big Hit Music's iconic roots, the label that skyrocketed BTS to worldwide fame more than a decade back with their gritty, message-packed hip-hop tracks that shook the industry. Think back to BTS's early bold claim of "100% real hip-hop," where they shattered conventions through songs that probed deep into dreams and shrugged off grown-up constraints, building a fan army with their authentic rebellion. CORTIS taps into that core energy but flips it with a Gen Z spin, trading intense social digs for bubbly teen mischief and pure fun vibes. Building on acts like TXT, who pivoted to uplifting tales of personal growth, inner struggles, and buddy-bond healing - evolving from anxious youth vibes to finding comfort in connections - this new squad steers back to hip-hop purity while sprinkling in lighthearted rebellion. As Big Hit's first boy group launch in six years post-TXT, they're lined up to carry forward BTS's massive influence, with early teasers hinting at a sound that echoes the前辈's self-made hustle but amps up the joy factor. It's like remixing classic beats with fresh twists, blending direct challenges to stuffy norms with impulsive, heartfelt emotions that pull in anyone craving a break from the ordinary - a clever nod to BTS's groundbreaking journey of turning personal stories into global anthems that inspire endless creativity and fan loyalty. Creative Hustle: Mastering Beats, Choreo, and Visuals in True DIY Fashion What really makes CORTIS pop is their tag as a "young creator crew" - these guys aren't content with just belting out tunes; they're the full-package bosses handling lyrics, compositions, dance moves, and even video direction for their upcoming debut EP 'Color Outside The Lines,' set to hit on September 8, 2025. Every song on the lineup, from 'GO!' to the official debut 'What You Want' on August 18, plus 'FaSHioN', 'JoyRide', and 'Lullaby', boasts credits from at least three members, turning collaboration into a whirlwind of blended artistry. Leader Martin has already flexed his skills by contributing to label siblings like TXT's 'Deja Vu' and ENHYPEN's 'Outside,' while James choreographed ILLIT's catchy 'Magnetic,' proving their chops go way beyond rookies. This all-in approach mirrors BTS's foundational self-produced mixtapes that laid the groundwork for their empire, but CORTIS dials up the fun with minimalistic beats and explosive sensory vibes that feel fresh and approachable. The 'GO!' visuals, packed with quick edits and off-the-cuff antics, highlight their hands-on magic, making the whole production feel like a group adventure in creativity. Plus, with an English remix of 'What You Want' featuring Teezo Touchdown dropping August 22, they're gearing for international waves right out the gate, much like BTS's smart collabs that bridged cultures and boosted their reach.
