Sophie Cunningham in Women of Wrestling? Lakers owner Jeanie Buss wants Indiana Fever star

According to multiple reports, WOW co-founder, owner and Indianapolis native Dave McLane brought up the Fever star at Comic Con in San Diego on Friday.
"I'm from Indiana," McLane said, per The Daily Mirror. "I'm from Indianapolis, and that's the home of not only the second-best basketball team in the country this last year, but the biggest name in professional basketball today, Caitlin Clark. And Caitlin Clark has an enforcer. She's the Marty McSorley to Wayne Gretzky, and she is a stunning athlete.
"I flew to Las Vegas and watched them in action against the Aces, and I would love to have Sophia Cunningham in WOW, because she takes down the competition, and she makes sure that Caitlin Clark is safe on the basketball floor. We'd love to have Sophie in WOW."
WOW's other co-owner, Los Angeles Lakers controlling owner and president Jeanie Buss echoed McLane's message.
"We would love to have (Cunningham) join us at @wowsuperheroes she is talented, dedicated and a fierce competitor!!" Buss tweeted.
In June, Cunningham committed a late flagrant foul on Connecticut Sun player Jacy Sheldon. Sun coach Rachid Meziane called the foul unnecessary and "completely stupid." Cunningham was ejected from the game.
"I'm not focused on the extracurricular activities, and you know what, during that, it was just part of the game," Cunningham said. "I think the refs had a lot to do with that. It was a build up for a couple years now of them just not protecting the star player of the WNBA. So, at the end of the day, I'm going to protect my teammates, that's what I do, and I'm a team player."
In July, Cunningham could only joke about what she believed was an obvious missed call in another game against the Sun. Cunningham fought through contact to set a screen for Aliyah Boston, only to be knocked down by the Sun's Leila Lacan. Referees made no call, and Cunningham asked about it.
