Taking to his Instagram story, Colson teased when fans can next see him on-screen.
The 26-year-old revealed he's filmed an episode of Celebrity Mastermind.
Colson posted a snap of himself sitting in the BBC show's famous black chair -- with the caption "Find out in December".
The actor obscured his specialist subject and asked followers to guess what it could be.
When Hannah Montana emerged as an answer, Colson confirmed he "wasn't allowed" to pick the popular Disney show.
He explained: "Can I just say how much I love that I've had about 6000 suggestions of Hannah Montana! I really did try!"
Colson played Craig Tinker from 2011 until his final scenes which aired in May 2025.
As part of the dramatic exit, Craig was attacked with a baseball bat by drunk villain Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton).
Rushed to hospital, the young police officer later passed away from the injuries.
In January, Colson first revealed he would be waving goodbye to the cobbles later in the year.
Coronation Street favourite left for dead in brutal attack after actor is axed from soap
He penned on Instagram at the time: "Autumn last year I was told that Craig Tinker's time on the Cobbles is to come to end in 2025.
"I've loved every single second of my 14 year stay as a resident on the greatest street in the world.
"I feel incredibly lucky to have grown up in, on and around Coronation Street.
"I've learned pretty much everything about life from the people who call it home.
"I'm excited to play out the exit story for our Craigy. For me, this is the end of the beginning.
Darkest soap storylines
Over the years the likes of EastEnders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street have all tried to try outdo each other with their outlandish plots in a bid to keep us tuning in each week. But here are some of the darkest that had fans in shock... EastEnders: Tony grooming Whitney (2008-2009) - Tony King first appeared in Albert Square in 2008 as the boyfriend of Bianca, played by Patsy Palmer. But it was quickly revealed he was a paedophile who had been grooming vulnerable Whitney, Bianca's adopted stepdaughter from a previous relationship, since she was 12. The shocking storyline attracted more than 200 complaints within a week of it beginning. Whitney waited until her 16th birthday to reveal the truth to a horrified Bianca, who called the police. Emmerdale: Holly's drug addiction and shock death (2010-2016) - In 2010, Holly Barton (played by Sophie Powles) became Emmerdale's first teenage drug addict. The shocking storyline saw her taking cocaine on a night out before developing a deadly heroin habit. Parents John and Moira desperately tried to help get their daughter clean but when Holly returned in 2016, following a four-year absence, she quickly relapsed. Fans were left stunned and heartbroken when distraught Moira found Holly dead in her bed from a heroin overdose. Hollyoaks: Luke's rape (2000) - Actor Gary Lucy was just 17 when he took on this groundbreaking storyline, which saw his character Luke Morgan become soap's first male rape victim. Luke had endured a long-running bullying campaign by football rival Mark Gibbs - who raped him after Luke stood up to him. Luke was left suicidal following the brutal attack, before opening up to his brother Adam. Gibbs was sentenced to eight years in prison. Gary won the Best Actor gong at the British Soap Awards in 2000 for his performance. Coronation Street: Evil Richard Hillman (2001-2003) - Just a mere mention of 'Richard Hillman' is enough to send a shiver down the spines of soap fans. He is often ranked one of the most evil soap villains and it's not hard to see why. The smooth-talking financial adviser bashed his ex-wife Patricia over the head with a shovel. In a bid to keep his mother-in-law Audrey quiet, he set fire to her house. And when Maxine caught him trying to murder Emily Bishop, he took a crowbar to her head. He made his exit from the cobbles in 2003 when he drove Gail Platt, played by Helen Worth, and her family into the canal. They survived, but he didn't.
"I genuinely can't wait to see what chapter two has in store for me."
Away from the soap, Colson also took part in Celebrity Big Brother during its first series on ITV.
He placed third overall, behind winner David Potts and runner-up Nikita Kuzmin.
A year later, his Corrie co-star and On The Sofa podcast co-host, Jack P. Shepherd, went on to win the series.

Tammy Hembrow's friend leaves a very passive aggressive comment on her Instagram post after she commits HUGE friendship no-no

Tammy Hembrow has committed a cardinal Instagram sin. The fitness influencer, 31, posted an unflattering photo of a close friend to her 17 million followers on Wednesday. Tammy left little to the imagination as she attended the Australian Financial Review magazine's 30th anniversary celebrations in a very revealing outfit on Tuesday night. She attended the business event at the Sydney Opera House in a tiny silk crop top and matching skirt set by Arcina Ori, which she documented in a carousel of photos shared to Instagram. But not everyone was happy with the post. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Tammy's post included four glamorous shots of the influencer posing in front of the Sydney Opera House in her ab-baring ensemble. She also shared a short video taken from behind, as she walked slowly towards a set of stairs and turned for dramatic effect - drawing attention to her silk-clad assets. There were two photos of Tammy's place setting in the darkened Bennelong restaurant, and also a selfie taken with Sydney brand strategist Addison Gazal at the table. 'Yeah cheers, I look great, thanks,' Addison penned in a comment dripping with sarcasm. Meanwhile, fans flocked to the comments section to lavish Tammy with praise. 'Ab goals,' one wrote, while other comments included 'Wow' and 'Obsessed.' The $230 top she wore features a subtle V-line detail while revealing a generous amount of her taut midriff, and the $360 long skirt has a twist detail and ruched waistband. Tammy styled her long blonde locks in waves as she posed for a mirror selfie at her hotel before heading to the event. He was less than impressed with the picture she chose to share Tammy has been fighting fit following her brutal split from husband Matt Zukowski after just seven months of marriage. The influencer, who announced in June that she and Matt were getting a divorce, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a list of things that are 'helping me heal.' 'Healing is hard but here are some little things helping me lately,' she began in an essay-length caption to a video montage of her 'healing' journey post-breakup. The video shows Tammy cuddling her three children, taking in sunrises and sunsets, and in multiple clips, sobbing uncontrollably. 'Getting out of the house has been huge for me,' she said. 'When I'm going through something, I can self-isolate but getting out of the house has been helping me get out of my head. Even something as simple as going to a café. I feel like being around people has just helped so much, even if it's strangers.' 'Moving my body - doesn't need much of an explanation. Instant boost of endorphins. Also doing something that's "selfish" and just for you. It can be so hard to even get yourself up and moving but you will feel better for it,' she continued. Tammy also listed 'spending time with my kids/family,' 'music,' 'watching the sunrise/sunset,' and going to therapy. 'I've always hated therapy,' she shared. 'I find it uncomfortable and confronting and never wanted to do it. But I promise you it's worth it.' The social media star said she's working on 'letting myself feel without judgement.' 'If I'm feeling sad or angry or upset, I acknowledge and feel it. If I want to cry, I cry. 'The only way past it is through it and some days you're going to feel better than others. For a while I was trying to shove down all my emotions and be "strong" and I honestly feel like this was one of the biggest things stopping me from even starting to heal,' she concluded. It comes after Tammy recently revealed she 'didn't recognise herself' during her marriage to Love Island star Matt, 29. The influencer revealed that she has toned up her body and lost weight since leaving the marriage. Tammy and Matt tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at Chateau Du Soleil in Byron Bay on November 23.

Chef names one ingredient that must be added to steak before cooking and it's not salt

Chef Mike Alfarah, who shares cooking videos on social media, decided to put a controversial hack to the test - and was pleasantly surprised by the results Steak is not a budget-friendly cut of meat. It's typically more expensive and indulgent, so we all want to ensure we're cooking it properly. Luckily, there are professional chefs who are happy to share their top tips and secrets. One such culinary expert is Mike Alfarah, known on Instagram as alfskitchen_. ‌ After learning about a revolutionary ingredient that can elevate steak to new heights, he decided to try it out himself. However, his novel method has sparked some debate online. The contentious ingredient is mayonnaise, which you should spread on the steak before searing it. ‌ ‌ READ MORE: Simple ingredient swap that makes fried eggs taste 10 times better The chef stated: "Even though I've heard of this hack a few times, I'm not really a mayo fan but in the name of steak science, it's only right we give it a try!" Mike then showed the steps involved in his steak preparation, which includes a liberal sprinkling of salt and placing the steak in a vacuum-sealed bag. As for the cooking, he immerses it into what he calls his 'meat Jacuzzi'. This refers to a sous vide or precision cooker, which circulates warm water around the vacuum-packed food and maintains a steady temperature. Using one can minimise the chance of overcooking the meat, reports the Express. After two hours in its 120 degree bath, the steak gets pulled out and patted dry before facing what purists might call sacrilege - getting smothered on both sides with a generous layer of mayonnaise, then seared in a scorching hot pan to achieve a perfect crust. ‌ The food enthusiast explained: "I'm pretty confident this is going to work really well because mayo is fat and that's the key to a good sear and you better believe I'm going to use that fat from the mayo [in the pan] to baste the steak as well. He continued: "From the looks of it, we have a pretty perfect sear and again I'm not surprised that this worked really well but I am really curious. Did it affect the taste?". Mike's hunch proved spot on - the steak was absolutely delicious. He revealed to his followers: "Not only did that give a perfect sear but it tastes incredible." Watchers were gobsmacked by Mike's bizarre method. One person wrote: "I would not use mayo.. no way on a good piece of meat", whilst another threatened to report the chef to Gordon Ramsay. Meanwhile, another doubter declared: "Steak cooked in water like that is disgusting in my opinion." Mike tackled the backlash directly, however. He informed the doubter that sous vide preparation is standard practice in top restaurants. Therefore, it's probable many of us have enjoyed a sous vide steak without knowing it. His clip did spark enthusiasm amongst some viewers. One fan declared: "Yes trying it. Works on chicken and grilled sandwiches, too!".
