
Sofronio Vasquez III says Michael Buble 'became family'
In his latest Instagram post, the Filipino singer posted a screenshot of a video call with Michael.
In his caption, Sofronio has nothing but praise for the legendary singer-songwriter.
'Not only is he my coach from 'The Voice,' which historically made us win, but he also became family,' Sofronio said.
'He calls and sends some wisdom and great news for people like me who dream bigger than the world. Thank you, @michaelbuble,' he added.
In May, the two also reunited for lunch.
Sofronio made history as the first Asian and first Filipino to win "The Voice USA." He was part of Team Michael.
In the finals, Sofronio delivered two stunning performances with his rendition of "Unstoppable" by Sia and "A Million Dreams" from "The Greatest Showman."
In January, Sofronio returned to the Philippines and had his first solo concert in Cebu.
He was also honored by the Senate for his 'The Voice' victory.

'The Conjuring: Last Rites' trailer brings back a demon from Ed and Lorraine Warren's past
Things are getting real terrifying for Ed and Lorraine Warren in the upcoming film "The Conjuring: Last Rites." The official trailer released on Friday takes us to Pennsylvania 1986, where a family of eight reported an "evil presence" in their house. "The Conjuring: Last Rites" is the fourth and final Conjuring film centered around the Warrens. It it set for release on September 5. The first "The Conjuring" movie was released in 2013. Chappell Roan's ballad 'The Subway' finally released on streaming platforms
After a year, "The Subway" is finally here! Chappell Roan has been teasing the single for over a year, first performing it at the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City in 2024. The "Good Luck, Babe!" hitmaker released the studio version of the track on Friday, her third single since her debut album "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess."
