Adam Levine's former Maroon 5 bassist ‘sexted teens' and he ‘attacked his wife' after she confronted him over the messages
Musician Mickey Madden, a one-time bassist for the Adam Levine-fronted band Maroon 5, is accused of physically attacking his wife after she found out he had inappropriate text messages to teenagers. In court documents filed in LA's Superior Court, regarding a series of events that unfolded on July 21, Madden's wife Kate Bowman claimed: 'He physically abused me. I'm now terrified of him.' Bowman said he went 'insane' after she asked him about the alleged messages with the teenage girls, which allegedly centered around a rape fantasy. It's claimed that Madden went 'insane' when Bowman asked him about the situation, she told the court, and he had grabbed her arms and slammed her body against a kitchen counter. Her documents said that Madden 'pulled me to the ground and was out of his mind'. Bowman described her efforts to flee the dangerous situation in her court paperwork. She said: 'I managed to move around and escape him, got up, and ran out of the house to escape him. 'He ran after me in his underwear and barefoot, caught up to me, shoved me against the gate, and then tried to grab me back to the house.' Bowman said that she 'managed to escape and ran to the street' but Madden 'found [her] twice in different locations, physically abusing [her] each time'. She included screengrabs in her filing from home security footage to support her claims. Bowman revealed that she tried to retrieve Madden's phone but wound up leaving the home afraid for her life. She rummaged through the contents of the phone after she ran down the street and hid between cars after escaping her enraged husband, she said in the documents. Bowman claimed Madden had never shown that level of rage prior to their marriage. Bowman was led to the text-related allegations against Madden by a stranger, she said in the court filing. She subsequently moved out of their home to reside with a friend in the wake of the conflict. Bowman revealed that Madden told her he was sorry via text message, and that he planned to seek help for sex addiction. She said she was concerned about Madden's potential reaction once he'd seen that she'd used a joint credit card to hire a lawyer in the wake of the July 21 incident. Bowman asked for a restraining order to stop Madden approaching within 100 yards of her person, as well as her place of business, residence, and vehicle. She claimed he had exerted monetary control over her for the duration of their four-year-plus marriage. Since Bowman started her job, she's concerned that Madden would try to track her down at work. She revealed that she's put a deposit down for an apartment for herself. The LA court's judge granted Bowman a temporary restraining order in connection with the domestic violence allegations, but a request for Madden to vacate their home was not granted, pending a future hearing on the matter. Madden was the bass player for Maroon 5 for almost 26 years, but he left the band in 2020 after he was arrested in connection with domestic violence. In a statement at the time, Madden said: 'I have some things that I need to deal with and address right now and so I have decided to take a leave of absence. 'During this time, I do not want to be a distraction to my bandmates. I wish them the absolute best.'

White House responds sharply to Hunter Biden's outburst
The White House has hit back at Hunter Biden's foul-mouthed rant against the Trump administration's efforts to deport illegal immigrants. The former first son slammed the government during a three-hour interview with YouTuber Andrew Callaghan, also targeting Democrats who sat idly by and watched as Trump rounded up and deported immigrants who have called America home. During their wide-ranging discussion, Biden pondered who would clean hotel rooms, wash dishes and do the gardening if it wasn't for migrants who 'figured out a way to get here' and were willing to work. But the White House didn't hold back in its reply, pointing to a recent ruthless attack on a border agent and a savage reminder of Biden's past addiction struggles. 'A CBP agent was just shot in the face by two criminal illegal aliens that Joe Biden let into the country,' White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told Fox News. 'But Hunter is more concerned about who is going to clean up his hotel room after his benders. This sort of callous, self-interested maliciousness from the entire Biden Crime Family is exactly why Joe Biden left office with record-low approval ratings.' Biden has also extensively acknowledged his drug fueled past, sharing a statement at the time which read: 'I have admitted and taken responsibility for my mistakes during the darkest days of my addiction – mistakes that have been exploited to publicly humiliate and shame me and my family for political sport.' Back in 2021, audio emerged in which Biden expressed concerns that Russians had stolen a laptop containing sensitive information after he partied with them in Las Vegas and took drugs in a hotel room. After Jackson's savage takedown, Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin also weighed in, asking: 'Is it really a surprise that Hunter Biden has no respect for Americans who are upset about the criminal illegal aliens let into our country by Joe Biden? Under Biden's reckless open-border policies, terrorists, gang members, murderers, and child pedophiles were released into American communities. These policies had real consequences. Young Americans, like Laken Riley (pictured) and Jocelyn Nungaray, lost their lives because of illegal aliens who should have never been in this country. President Trump and Secretary Noem will never abandon these victims or their families. DHS will continue to deliver on the mandate of the American people to make America safe again.' Laken Riley was a 22-year-old nursing student who was murdered while jogging at the University of Georgia by Venezuelan illegal immigrant José Antonio Ibarra in February 2024. He is currently serving a life sentence in prison without the possibility of parole. Twelve-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray (pictured) was sexually assaulted and murdered in July 2024. Two Venezuelan illegal migrants have been charged over her death. Biden hosted Callaghan in his native Wilmington, Delaware , and talked at length about his struggles with crack addiction, the infamous laptop and his views on politics. He was particularly critical of Democrats for not doing more to prevent Trump's mass deportation scheme. '[expletive] you,' Biden said. 'How do you think your hotel room gets cleaned? How do you think you have food on your [expletive] table? Who do you think washes your dishes? Who do you think does your [expletive] garden? 'Who do you think is here by the[expletive] sheer [expletive] just grit and will that they figured out a way to get here because they thought that they could give themselves and their family a better chance.' Biden expressed disgust that Trump has 'somehow convinced all of us that these people are the [expletive]criminals?' 'White men in America are 45 more times likely to commit a[expletive] violent crime than an immigrant,' he argued. Biden then took swipes at David Axelrod, former President Barack Obama's longtime political strategist, who was one of the few Democrats to openly suggest his father, former President Joe Biden, bow out of a reelection fight last year. The now 82-year-old Democrat did just that exactly one year ago Monday, endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris to take his place. She lost in the 2024 election to Trump, who swiftly started making good on his plans to deport thousands of immigrants in the US illegally. During the interview, Biden also needled former Chicago mayor, White House chief of staff and House member Rahm Emanuel, who has already floated a 2028 Democratic run for the presidency. 'And the media says, well David Axelrod and Rahm [expletive]Emanuel - so [expletive] smart Rahm Emanuel - who say we've got to understand that these people are really mad and we've got to appeal to these white voters,' Biden continued. 'Rahm, the only people that [expletive] appeal to those [expletive] white voters was Joe Biden at 81-years-old and he got 81 million votes,' he said, referring to his father's 2020 win. 'And he did because, not because he appeased their [expletive] Trumpian sense but because he challenged it,' Biden went on. 'And he said, you can be an 81-year-old Catholic from [expletive] Scranton that doesn't understand it but still has empathy for transgender people and immigrants.' Biden claimed that Democrats were running away from their values. 'I say, [expletive] you, how are we getting those people back from [expletive] El Salvador?' he asked. Since the beginning of the year, the Trump administration sent hundreds of migrants in the US illegally to El Salvador's mega-prison, CECOT. 'Because I'll tell you what, if I became president in two years from now or four years from now or three years from now, I would pick up the phone and call the [expletive] president of El Salvador and say, ''you either [expletive]send them back or I'm going to [expletive] invade,'' Biden said. 'It's a [expletive] crime what they're doing,' he complained.

Commanders wideout Terry McLaurin requests trade after contract talks stall
Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin has requested a trade, according to multiple reports on Thursday. Frustrated by the lack of progress in negotiations toward a contract extension, McLaurin sat out the first four days of training camp before reporting on Sunday. After reporting, he can no longer be fined $50,000 per day. McLaurin, who turns 30 in September, became a hold-in and was placed on the team's physically unable to perform list with an apparent ankle injury suffered last season. He did not attend organized team activities and mandatory minicamp. He did, however, participate in spring workouts. 'You'd like to get these things done quicker, but it doesn't always happen that way,' general manager Adam Peters said. 'Whatever happens along the way, just understand he's a great player and we want to keep him here.' With a base salary of $15.5m and cap hit of $25.5m in the final season of a three-year, $68.3m contract, the speedster is coming off a career year with 1,096 receiving yards, 13 touchdowns and 82 receptions on 117 targets. He added three scores and 227 yards on 14 receptions in three playoff games. McLaurin and rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels helped lead Washington (12-5) to their best season since it won the Super Bowl in 1991. The Commanders knocked off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC wild-ard round and Detroit Lions in the divisional round before falling to the eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game. Over six seasons with Washington, the two-time Pro Bowl selection (2022, 2024) has 6,379 receiving yards, 38 touchdowns and 460 catches in 97 games. A team captain, McLaurin has hit the 1,000-yard mark for a franchise-record five straight seasons despite instability at the quarterback position before Daniels' NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year campaign.
