Rams injuries: Konata Mumpfield, others exit win vs. Cowboys early
Running back Ronnie Rivers injured his ribs after just a couple of plays and only two carries, quickly being ruled out by the Rams in the fourth quarter. Rookie tight end Anthony Torres also injured his ankle and was ruled out in the fourth quarter.
Sean McVay didn't provide any updates on those three players after the Rams' 31-21 win, but their statuses will be worth monitoring once the team returns to practice on Monday. Mumpfield is a rising rookie who may not have had his best on Saturday, but he's shown flashes in practice that make him someone to watch.
The fact that he was initially listed as questionable to return is a good sign, whereas Rivers and Torres were ruled out rather quickly.

Barcelona summer signing reflects on his adaptation and changes he has experienced – ‘It is very intense'
Marcus Rashford has spoken about his first impressions as a Barcelona player, giving fans an insight into how he is adapting to life at his new club. In an interview with the programme The Rest Is Football, hosted by Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer, and Micah Richards, the summer signing expressed his excitement at joining a young, hungry team eager for success. Rashford revealed that the atmosphere within the squad has been a key highlight, praising the energy and style of play that defines the club. One name, in particular, stood out to him from the very beginning. 'Honestly, it is very refreshing to be able to play with these players and play football at their own tempo [rhythm] like Pedri, who I think is only 22 or 23 years old.' When asked about his objectives for the season, Rashford made it clear that team achievements take priority over personal milestones. 'I hope to have a good individual season, but if I have to choose between that and winning titles, choose to win titles.' Adapting to Barça's intensity While Rashford has settled in well, he also admitted that the intensity of Barcelona's training sessions has been a challenge. The pace and demands of the pre-season were further complicated by the weather conditions during the club's Asian tour. 'Here, it is very intense. It is difficult to explain, but the pre-season has been difficult; I was tired after every workout, and the weather also played a role. 'Running is not difficult; it is more about practising with the ball and maintaining a consistent level. In this sense, the intensity is more complex,' he noted. For Rashford, the first few weeks have been both exciting and demanding. As he adjusts to Hansi Flick's methods and forms connections with his new teammates, the forward will be eager to make his mark when the competitive season begins.
