Aparshakti Khurana's Upcoming Front
The actor is on a roll with an impressive lineup of upcoming films. He will soon be seen in Badtameez Gill, directed by Navjot Gulati. Co-starring Vaani Kapoor, Paresh Rawal and Sheeba Chadha, the film is slated to release in November. Fans will also see him in a high-octane family action drama titled Gunmaster G9. Helmed by Aditya Datt, the film features him alongside Emraan Hashmi, Genelia D'Souza and Abhishek Singh. Backed by Deepak Mukut and Hunar Mukut under the Soham Rockstar Entertainment banner, Gunmaster G9 is eyeing hitting the theatres in 2026.
He is also roped in for renowned filmmaker Imtiaz Ali's next project. Aparshakti Khurana will share the screen space with Abhishek Banerjee and Varun Sharma in the upcoming drama tentatively titled Side Heroes. This untitled project will be jointly backed by Ali and Mahaveer Jain Films.
The film is touted to be a heartfelt and hilarious ode to friendship, nostalgia and rediscovering joy. Made under the direction of Sanjay Tripaathy, the script has been jointly penned by Siddarth Sen and Pankaj Matta.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 17 (ANI): Veteran Marathi actor Jyoti Chandekar passed away at the age of 69 on August 16 in Pune, her daughter actress, best known for her role as 'Poorna Aji' in the TV show 'Tharala Tar Mag,' had been unwell for a daughter, Tejaswini Pandit, took to her Instagram on Saturday to confirm the news of her passing along with an emotional note. 'It is with deep sorrow that I share the news that our mother, the esteemed and beloved actress Mrs. Jyoti Chandekar Pandit, who lived life on her own terms and always smiled wholeheartedly, passed away today, 16th August, at the age of 69 after a brief illness," she wrote in Marathi Chandekar's funeral took place on Sunday morning at Pune's Vaikunth television channel 'Star Pravah', which airs Tharala Tar Mag, also paid tribute to the actor, remembering her warm presence and significant contribution to Marathi entertainment. Jyoti Chandekar started acting at the age of 12 and worked for over five decades in theatre, films, and television.
