Contenders are also going to be joining the live show
And fans were furious that Scotland, along with other locations, had been snubbed.
Viewers took to social media to hit out with one saying: "This isn't a UK tour, it's an England tour - you have excluded the whole of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland."
Meanwhile, another said: "Really poor show that there is no Scotland venue when last year's winner was from Scotland and there has been plenty of Scottish contenders and Sabre is from Scotland."
Now organisers have been forced to add a Scottish date after so many avid fans of the BBC telly hit got in touch.
A tour team spokesman said: "After record-breaking ticket sales, with London selling out in just 24 hours and Birmingham within four days, Gladiators Live Tour has answered Scottish fans' calls, announcing an electrifying visit to Glasgow's OVO Hydro."
The show promises an adrenaline-fuelled two-hour spectacle starring the hulking heroes from the hit BBC series, packed with fan-favourite events and the legendary Eliminator.
Purpose-built sets, state-of-the-art lighting and jaw-dropping stunts are promised for the family friendly experience.
Over five weekends, the tour visits key UK cities for 20 spectacular shows, each with matinee and evening performances.
Fans will witness dynamic battles between iconic Gladiators and daring contenders from the series.
And audiences will also have exclusive opportunities for meet-and-greets with their favourite telly titans.
Gladiators star Sabre blasts ref for 'picking on her'
Fans were delighted the organisers added the Scots date after listening to their calls.
One said: "This is amazing. I was calling for the tour to extend outside of England and it has happened and the show will finally be coming to OVO Hydro in Glasgow. Absolutely brilliant!
"I love the new show and, of course, the best Gladiator is Scottish. That's the lovely Sabre, of course, aka Sheli McCoy. It just goes to show, 'Good things come to those who wait'."
Audiences will also have exclusive opportunities for meet-and-greets with the telly titans, photo sessions with iconic props and VIP pre-show packages.
The show comes to Glasgow on December 20 and 21 with tickets going on sale at 10am on Friday, May 9, from Friday 9 May via livenation.co.uk.

Who are Sunderland's most skilful players ever?

Throughout Wednesday, we are revealing who Sunderland legend Marco Gabbiadini believes are the club's most skilful players fifth place, its 1960s and 70s legend Billy Hughes. Hughes was an integral part of the 1973 FA Cup-winning side and Gabbiadini told BBC Radio Newcastle the striker brought a different skillset to other forwards of that time:"People have always talked to me about Billy Hughes. He was involved in a very successful team, and he is just one of those players who fans really engaged with. He was a little bit different - not a big bustling centre forward, which was the norm in his era. "He was wave-like, almost like George Best. "He scored really interesting goals. When you see them, they are really clever and he really used his imagination. For me, that is what defines his skills."Listen on BBC Sounds - and come back later for the rest of the list!

Shamed BBC star Jermaine Jenas axed from ITV show amid sacking and sexting scandal

Shamed BBC star Jermaine Jenas axed from ITV show amid sacking and sexting scandal Jermaine Jenas will not be part of the ITV team covering Soccer Aid this weekend after being sacked by the BBC last year Jermaine Jenas will not be part of ITV's Soccer Aid coverage (Image:) Jermaine Jenas will not be part of the ITV team covering Soccer Aid this weekend , amid the ongoing fallout from the BBC's dismissal of him over allegations of workplace misconduct. The former England international was sacked in August over claims he had sent inappropriate texts to female colleagues. Jenas was removed from his role as a presenter of The One Show and a pundit for BBC Sport after an internal investigation was launched. ‌ Jenas saw his contract terminated by the broadcaster and ultimately also parted ways with his long-term agents MC Saatchi in addition to being let go from his role presenting Formula E. In previous years, Jenas has worked alongside Maya Jama as part of ITV's coverage for the charity match Soccer Aid, with Dermot O'Leary and Alex Scott taking on presenting duties. ‌ The latter pair are set to host once again as England take on a Rest of the World side with Wayne Rooney and Tyson Fury co-managing the Three Lions at Old Trafford on Sunday. According to Mail Online, ITV did not consider Jenas to be part of the production. Given Jenas' recent controversies, the channel did not want to draw unwanted attention to an event centred around charity. It is claimed that ITV still has a good relationship with the former Newcastle and Tottenham midfielder. Jenas has returned to football media work following his departure from the BBC. After a brief hiatus from his presenting role on talkSPORT, the 42-year-old made a guest appearance and resumed his commentary duties in February. There's a reason why you're in this position and there's a reason why this has happened. "Once you accept those things, then you can work on yourself and you can work on the other things and you can work on your family and work towards a brighter future. ‌ "Essentially, this is about me looking inwards, making some improvements and coming back a better person." However, in March, Jenas' long-term partner Ellie Penfold announced their separation. The couple, who have four children together, had been in a 16-year relationship. "After 16 years together and 4 wonderful children, Jermaine and I have decided to part ways. "We will remain friends and continue to co-parent. We kindly ask that you respect our children's privacy during this challenging time. Thank you, Ellie."
