The season kicks off on Thursday July 4, spotlighting rising stars TUL8TE and Almas, who represent a fresh wave of Arabic talent with soulful, genre-blending sounds.
On Friday July 5, the stage belongs to fan favourites Sharmoofers, known for their reggae-influenced Egyptian rock, along with the powerful vocals of Jordan's Aziz Maraka and the genre-defying talent Ghaliaa.
Fast forward to Thursday July 11, and hip-hop heads can catch Soulja, Montiyago, and Mo Ali, three of the most dynamic names pushing Arabic rap, trap and Afrobeat-inspired music in the region.
Finally, on Friday July 12, it's a celebration of Gulf pop, as Bader Al Shuaibi, Abdulaziz Louis, and Nasser Abbas close out the series with smooth vocals, polished performances, and hits you're bound to recognise.

The Dubai Press Club has concluded the third week of the second edition of the Arab Podcast Programme, delivering a series of immersive workshops and expert-led sessions that delved into the essential components of podcast production. The training brought together prominent Arab podcasters and media professionals who shared valuable insights into the creative and technical processes behind successful audio content creation. This initiative aligns with Dubai's wider vision of fostering a future-oriented media landscape rooted in innovation, creativity and the nurturing of regional talent. By offering hands-on, practical learning opportunities, the programme supports the rise of new Arab voices in the expanding podcast industry and reinforces the role of Arabic content in the global digital space. Over the course of the week, participants engaged in interactive training modules that addressed critical elements of podcast development, including scriptwriting, interview techniques, sound design, production workflows and multi-platform distribution strategies. Special attention was also given to the growing prominence of video podcasting and the effective use of platforms like TikTok to amplify audience reach. Maryam Al Mulla, Acting Director of the Dubai Press Club, said the programme is aligned with the Club's ongoing efforts to enhance media capabilities across the region. It also reflects Dubai's commitment to shaping the future of Arab media by investing in talent and fostering a culture of innovation. The goal is to equip participants with the insight and tools needed to create content that stands out.' As part of the third week's activities, participants began working on individual podcast projects to put their newly acquired skills into practice. These projects were assessed by a specialist panel, offering constructive feedback and helping determine readiness for the next phase of the programme. Training sessions during the week tackled core areas such as idea development, content planning, audio branding, interview curation and digital platform optimization. Attendees explored how to boost discoverability, tap into trending content, and apply data analytics to improve audience engagement and reach. The Arab Podcast Programme continues to play a vital role in advancing Dubai's position as a leading hub for media innovation. The newly created bundle will combine Netflix and Shahid in addition to MBC's linear TV channels, under one single subscription. MBC Group has announced a partnership with global streaming giant Netflix, marking the first collaboration of its kind for Netflix in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). This alliance will see Netflix's full streaming service integrated into MBCNOW, the recently launched content aggregator platform by MBC Group, offering users a seamless entertainment experience. The new subscription bundle merges Netflix with Shahid, MBC's Arabic streaming platform, and the Group's array of linear TV channels into a single, convenient package. This offering brings together two major streaming platforms under one roof for the first time in the region, promising to deliver a mix of content that appeals to families across Saudi Arabia, the Gulf and the broader Arab world. Fadel Zahreddine, Group Director of Emerging Media at MBC Group, said: 'This groundbreaking partnership is one for the books. To have two streaming giants – Shahid and Netflix – come together under one platform is something never seen before in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and wider MENA, and we're very excited for what's to come.' Bhanu Chaddha, Director of Distribution and TV Products at MBC Group, added: 'We're thrilled to have MBC Group join forces with Netflix to bring its content to our audiences under the convenience of a single subscription. This collaboration is part of our ongoing commitment to provide unparalleled global and local experiences for our audiences in the region. This is definitely the future of streaming and content consumption.' Mohammed Al Kuraishi, Head of Business Development and Partnerships, Middle East and Africa at Netflix stated: 'We are delighted to partner with MBC Group to bring our members in Saudi Arabia and the rest of the region easy access to our service and an incredible variety of international and Arabic shows, movies, documentaries, kids content, stand-ups, Live- events, and games. This partnership brings unparalleled entertainment offering to our members and puts them at the heart of the entertainment experience.' Launched in February 2025, MBCNOW was developed to blend traditional broadcast viewing with digital streaming. It consolidates MBC's TV channels and Shahid's Arabic content into a single destination, transforming how Saudi and Arab audiences consume entertainment. With the new Netflix partnership, MBCNOW now offers a bundled 'Shahid + Netflix Pack,' delivering a vast catalogue of Arabic and international series, films, documentaries, children's content, live events and even games. The package offers more than 21% in savings compared to subscribing to the services individually.
